“This is the second time we used Alexandria and she is just fantastic. We got pictures of our cats everyday and she was very responsive with any questions that we had while we were traveling. Would absolutely book her again the next time we are out of town!”

About: Hi! I’m Kendal—an energetic, dog-loving sitter and future veterinarian with years of hands-on experience caring for pups of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. Whether I’m walking high-energy dogs, comforting anxious rescues, or supporting senior pups with extra TLC, I always bring patience, empathy, and a vet-bound level of attentiveness. I’ve worked with animals through vet clinics, rescue organizations, and educational programs like Project Terrapin, giving me a deep understanding of canine behavior and health. I adapt to your dog’s needs—whether that means fetch in the yard, calm companionship, or help with routine care. Every dog has their own personality, and I’m here to meet them right where they are—with enthusiasm, respect, and a whole lot of love. I am able to provide consistent, high-quality pet care each morning before 9am and every evening after 4pm Monday through Friday. I am available anytime on weekends. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow their established routine as closely as possible. This includes timely feeding, walks (whether that be in their backyard, neighborhood, or taking them to a park), playtime, medications if needed, and plenty of love! I keep your home clean and your pet happy, providing regular updates so you can travel with peace of mind. During overnight stays, I ensure your pet receives care in the evening, overnight, and morning, with a walk or check-in before I leave for my classes and attentive care once I return. For walks and drop-ins, I tailor the visit to your pet’s needs—whether that means an energizing walk or run, quiet company, or extra attention for nervous or senior pets. I make sure they have clean food and water, a potty break, and interaction that matches their personality and preferences. With a strong foundation in pre-veterinary studies and years of hands-on animal care experience, I offer thoughtful, dependable care for every pet I meet.

“Jessica watched and fed our two cats while we were away and she was great! She gave us updates, photos, and had great communication. Came home to two happy and healthy kitties :) would def book again. Thank you, Jessica!”

“Gabriella is wonderful, reliable, and kind. I was so worried about leaving our kittyboi for several days, because he needs heart medicine twice a day, and drinks running water from the sink. She made it all work out perfectly on a busy holiday weekend and sent regular updates, to assure me he was ok 🩷”

About: I've taken care of dogs for a long time. It started when I was young, probably around the age of 10, but of course I couldn't drive, so my mom had to help out. I have always had a love for animals, and I always will. I am currently a college student studying childhood education and psychology, along with playing soccer. That may sound like I have a pretty busy schedule, but since I live at home, it is not bad at all. I am also a substitute teacher, which allows me to choose when I work based on how my schedule looks for that given week. Pet safety is of the utmost importance to me. Families are relying on me to care for their beloved animals while away for a day or a few days. Playing outside or relaxing inside are all things I love to do, based on the dog's needs. Walks are always fun, too!

About: I have been helping my sister with this for a while, trying the app on my own! I also have been taking care of animals since I was a young one, my household was always filled with animals from fur babies to reptiles to fish. However, I didn't just grow up with pets, I learned how to bond with them and really understand what it means to care for an animal. From playful to shy, I meet every animal where they are at and give them the love and attention. I also have experience working with animals from my time spent working at a pet store. I am reliable, communicative, and treat every pal like family. Rest assured your pal is in safe hands! I have open availability. Caring for animals is a peaceful part of my daily routine. Whether it's morning walks or check ins, I make time for them. For me, spending time with animals keeps me grounded and joyful. It's more than a job, it something I look forward to day to day. My home is calm, clean, and filled with love - pets settle in pretty easily after the owner departs. I make sure to stick to their usual routine, so your pal feels safe and secure. Whether they are here long term or just overnight every pal gets treated with 10/10 care!

“Riley was great and paid special attention to our cat less than a week after he had a medical procedure. She provided updates and made sure he got the attention and love that he needed while my kids and I were gone. I would 100% recommend and look forward to future bookings!!”

About: I am generally not afraid of dogs, being able walk, run, and play with a dog always brightens my day. I use to take care of puppies and adult dogs in my spare time after school and I would make sure to feed them, take them out for walks, play with them and pick up after them when needed. I am not working right now so looking after a dog is a good way to pass the time for me, not mention being out of the house and getting a decent amount of exercise. I will take great responsibility in taking care any dog that is under my care, I'll respect the owners rules and do my best to satisfy the customer and their needs

“Jerrad is the absolute best. I truly have no words to describe how lucky I am to have met him through Rover. He is so caring and loving to my little dog. He is extremely reliable and understandable about unexpected situations. He will go an extra mile to make sure your pet is happy. My pup gets so excited when he sees him, it’s adorable! A million star review!!”

“Heather did a wonderful job doing daily drop in visits for my two cats. She sent pictures and videos daily, and followed all of the instructions I left. I was able to relax knowing that my cats were being taken care of by someone who truly cares about animals. I highly recommend Heather!”

I dogsat within the past two months, carrying for an elderly dog that required extra assistance and an adult dog. I’ve owned cats all 20 years of my life. I have a deep and immense passion for caring for them, and showing them attention as well as providing company to them. I live with three cats, ranging from kitten to senior cat, one a rescued stray. I provide them with the best life possible, with love and care. i have had ill pets that required medicine in the past, and administer medicine for my current cats routinely as well as basic care such as feeding, cleaning after, brushing, replacing food and water regularly, clipping their nails, letting them in and out of the house as needed, and bathing if needed. :) Each day I feed my 3 cats of all ages, and place out fresh multiple times throughout the day. I also regularly change the litter box, clip their nails, administer medicine such as flea prevention medication, and show them love and attention when they allow it. One of my cats requires patience and attention as she suffers from anxiety and does not like to be around people as a result. Kendal G.
“I’ve known Kendal for a few years, and throughout that time, and at every possible opportunity, she’s demonstrated a loving, deeply informed, and fully genuine care and passion for animals. She’s an aspiring veterinarian and possesses a sort of savant-like knowledge of the animal kingdom that corresponds to her life’s passion. She knows the dosage and variety of tranquilizer needed to safely sedate a hippo, she knows the hazardous ingredients in my dog’s tick medication, and she understands intuitively what her cat, Mango, is feeling dependent on his body language: no tidbit of knowledge, no esoteric fact, no nuance is too niche for her. While all individuals on this app likely possess a deep love for animals, Kendal supplements that love with knowledge. If your dog gets into the chocolate, if your cat gets into the Advil, Kendal will know what to do because she both cares deeply and understands deeply. I have no doubt that she is the most overqualified pet sitter/walker you’ll ever cross paths with. She has my fullest endorsement.”

Jazmyn H.
“Jazmyn has taken care of my cats since I got them (11 weeks old - 20 months old), and my sweet kitty before them. She always goes the extra step to be sure she is providing enough play time, as well as love, while maintaining their strict feeding schedule. As a pet parent to a senior cat, she knows how important it is to connect with the animals, befriend them and make them feel safe. She has worked as a groomer’s assistant, so she also has vast experience with dogs of all sizes. I love to call her the pet whisperer, because I have yet to meet an animal that hasn’t fallen completely in love with her and vice versa.”

Rachel C.
“Taking care of someone's pet can be a weighty responsibility. After all, most pet owners view them as family. Rachel is dedicated to the health and well being of all animals. She is honest, trustworthy, and will treat your pet with the same love and kindness that you would expect from a family member.”

Sarah S.
“Sarah has been excellent in caring for either family pets up to large agricultural animals. She is punctual with any given schedule and ensures animals are safe at all times. Sarah keeps a very clean environment, so you can always rely on her to leave your home spotless when leaving. You can be confident that your pet will be in good hands using Sarah’s services.”
