About: Although my account reflects a start date of 2023, I paused it until now, so I'm happy to announce that Little Paws Retreat is now open! I am looking forward to providing your pup, or pups, with a cozy, loving, safe home away from home. I have a lot of experience with dogs and know how important consistency, routine and clear communications are. I keep a clean, comfortable space and make sure all meals, potty breaks and cuddles happen on schedule. When you book with me you will get: -Daily updates and photos so you can see how your pup is doing. -Flexible routines that adapt to your dog's needs. -Supervised outdoor visits on leash. -Calm, dependable support if your pup has special needs or medication instructions. I look forward to a "meet and greet" before committing to any stays. I want you to feel 100% confident your sweet dog is in good hands getting all the care I would give a dog in my own family. I am retired and have the time to give your pet full attention throughout the day. They would get a good share of affection and playtime. If your pet follows a regular routine or schedule I would be happy to follow it also. Your dog would be with me on the main floor of my home. He/she would be walked if that is what they usually do and can have outdoor time in the yard either on a run or within a small play area. I would be with them. I have had plenty of experience with medications if needed.

About: I have over forty years of dog experience. I bred German Shepherd’s for fifteen years. I have taken obedience, agility, and Nose work from local professional trainers and have done puppy, beginner, intermediate and advanced obedience with three of my dogs. I also worked for 1.5 years at a doggie daycare in Utica. I want to do my doggie daycare on a small scale so your pet receives individual attention. I have seen places doing 25- 50 dogs with only one or two people watching them and I feel there is a great need for care on a much smaller scale. So here I am! I retired from banking and with my husband live on our small farm in the country. We built what we call the dog arena for exercising our personal dogs and I intend to use it to also exercise my clients dogs. I am available most weekends and week days. I was working a part time job at a doggie daycare but recently decided that I would prefer to be home with my pups and yours! I have a large fenced in exercise area. I have gates in my home so I can gradually introduce our dogs or can keep them separate depending on individual needs.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover. When I was a child I had all sorts of different pets. I had fish, hamsters, gerbils, lizards and rabbits. When I got older I had a family dog named Lulu who I helped house brake and train as a pup when I was in high school. When I became an adult I adopted my dog Weston who I’ve had and trained since he was an eight week old puppy. I’m very confident in my ability to help house train your young dog if need be. I understand how much stimulation and exercise they require. I’m happy to provide that through long walks, trips to the dog park and general outings. I have lots of chew toys around and ways to keep feisty puppies occupied. I’ve fostered cats as well as taken care of neighbors’ kittens including providing feedings and litter box cleaning when necessary. I’ve always wanted to have a parrot as a pet so if you have birds that need care I’d appreciate the opportunity to come help out and learn more about them :). I’m currently a full time pet sitter. I have a dog of my own as well. I will be available all hours of the day and night to care for your animal(s). I’m happy to spend the extra time taking puppies in training as well as senior dogs outside as much as they need. I have a friendly golden doodle named Weston to keep your pup company. I’m happy to help house brake puppies as well as provide care for senior animals.

About: I grew up with dogs and recently owned 2 rescued dogs. I have land around my home and access to a wooded area with trails for longer walks. I am comfortable with caring for dogs in any facet. I am a teacher and I am looking for summer work. I am free every day until late August. I am willing to walk your dog in your neighborhood or board a dog over night. I have a stake in my yard for when my daughter visits with her 35 lb. Dog. Previous bigger dogs were walked on a leash at all times. I usually walk my dogs 1-2x daily for up to a 1/2 hour.

About: I love taking care of animals. I have always had dogs and cats and I love to spoil them but also train them right. I allow animals the freedom to have fun while also putting their safety and wellbeing as my first concern. I work from home full time monday through friday so I am able to take care of pets any day of the week. I have two dogs of my own that go out regularly all day. In my home, I feed pets twice a day, sometimes with a treat or two a day. My pets are allowed on the couch and in bed for extra cuddles. I have 2 acres for animals to run around or be leashed for walks/runs. I also live on a dead end road with very little traffic for major safety concerns.
