“Stephanie has been such a huge help in keeping our fur babies well taken care of when we are away and also giving us peace of mind that we have someone reliable, responsible, and caring in our home. Thank you so much!!!!”

“Mary was very good at taking care of my cat , during our trip to the uk . She was prompt at replying to my texts about how Alfie was adjusting , and kept me informed of his eating patterns . Very happy with her service .”

“Alyssa was absolutely amazing beyond expectations. She cared for our 2 pups and our cat. Great communication and true care for our babies. Would highly recommend and when needed Will definitely ask for help again. A+++”

“Stephanie was amazing with my girls. She took care of them. Sent a ton of pictures and went above and beyond with their care. I highly recommend using Stephanie for your fur babies.”

“Jason was wonderful, patient with our anxious dogs. We lost both our sitters as they moved. So we’re working on finding new sitters. At first our little one was very scared and vicious.. Jason gave him treats and won him over in no time. He just stayed the day, but definitely call him again. He’s definitely a dog whisperer.👍💜🐾”

“Linda is wonderful! She truly loves dogs. She treated Flo like her own. We canceled this bokking once because of Hurricane Milton then rebooked after the storm had passed and we made it through unscathed. Linda, however, had lost power at her house. We will definitely book with Linda again-- if she is available! She is understandably in high demand.”

“Taylor and Bruno are fantastic, we really appreciate their house sitting-dog watching and taking care of our chickens. Wonderful communication and pictures. Thank you Taylor and Bruno!!”

“Anthony was great! Took good care of a Denver with lots of walks and trips to our dog park. Very easy to communicate with him , it was nice to know Denver was in good hands. He even sent pictures everyday of her!”

“I can’t say enough about Bethany. She took such good care of my pups and cat. I felt totally at ease with her staying with them. She send plenty of pictures and quickly responded when I’d check in. She left my place in such great condition. If you need a sitter for your fur babies don’t think twice about hiring Bethany. She’s the best!!!!!”

“Hailee house sat with our dog who has separation anxiety. Meaning she couldn’t leave the house. Not ideal for sure. This is the first time we had used a house sitter and we were a bit nervous. Everything went perfectly! We are so thankful for Hailee and will definitely use her again. Thank-you Hailee 🐕”

“Kelly was amazing! We had a last minute family emergency and she really came through. She took amazing care of our fur babies and our home, with quick responses and tons of updates and images. I would highly recommend and absolutely rebook next time.”

“Brooke was very kind, positive, and communicated well with texts and photos, which allowed us to enjoy our vacation with peace of mind. The pets were well taken care of.”

About: Hi, I’m Alex! I live in Dunedin and occasionally visit SWFL. I’ve been caring for ALL types of animals since I was a kid, and it’s something I truly love! I have 2 cats of my own, regularly dogsit German Shepherds for a close friend, volunteer with the Humane Society of Pinellas, and support the Suncoast Animal League. Having worked with pets of all ages, from bottle babies to seniors with special needs, my best approach is to calmly match energy. Patience is more than key, and I will always respect each animal’s unique personality as well as nonverbal boundaries. Pet care is my full-time job! Working with animals and supporting my community are truly my passions. I’m very savvy with time management and love keeping my schedule steady, reliable, and flexible for my clients. Unless we discuss otherwise, I typically spend 30–40 minutes at each drop-in to give your pets proper attention and care without ever rushing. Weekends, holidays, and last-minute requests are always welcome! Even if my calendar shows I’m booked, still feel free to reach out. Further distances and specific circumstances may incur additional fees, which will always be disclosed before confirming. Caring for pets in their own home helps them feel safe and secure in a familiar space. With my own animals at home, this setup also works best for me! I focus on maintaining your pet’s usual routines and paying close attention to their comfort, body language, and any changes in behavior. A calm, familiar environment is essential for building an organic, trusting relationship between new human and pet.

“Isabelle stayed at my house with my dog Bentley for 5 days while I was on vacation. She sent me lots of updates and pictures of Bentley which made me really happy! Bentley also had an injured foot and needed it to be wrapped every time he went outside so it wouldn’t get infected or wet. Isabelle was so patient and kept up with wrapping his foot! I would definitely recommend Isabelle to anyone and I look forward to hiring her again!”

About: Dog owners will love my individualized attention and care to their animals. Our house and yard allows for dogs to have much to entertain them during their stay. I have 18 years experience of sheltering and caring for animals and during that time have rescued multiple cats and dogs from the elements of abusive people. My main desire is to provide quality care for your pet. I have one dog & he loves all animals. Your pet will have an enjoyable stay at my home and it will not destroy your bank account. Your pet will receive the care they need to stay comfortable and relaxed while you are gone. Home away from home ! Your pet will not feel neglected !!! Let's schedule a meet and greet, I would love to meet your fur-babies 🙃! Integrating pet care into my household requires a seamless blend of structure and affection. My routine revolves around consistent feeding schedules, energetic outdoor play in the yard, and ensuring every dog feels like a member of the family. Whether it’s refreshing water bowls during morning chores or wind-down cuddles in the evening, I prioritize a safe, attentive environment where pets thrive alongside our daily activities. Care starts with creating a calm, structured environment where pets feel secure. In my home, I prioritize a "home away from home" experience with plenty of supervised yard time, fresh water, and cozy spots for resting. I maintain each dog's specific feeding and medication schedule to ensure their routine remains as consistent as possible
Mission Hills pet parents share their Rover experiences
I am beyond satisfied with the care, dedication and love Mason gave my kitties while I was away. There was daily communication. He sent plenty of pictures. My boys were in good spirit when I returned (cats will let you know if they were not happy while you’re gone! - iykyk). I have found my go to person for my babies!!! Thank God!! Please book Mason - you will not be disappointed!!

Kristin was great! My animals loved her and she sent pics after every visit. When I returned home my kitten became ill (to no fault of Kristin’s) and she was awesome in letting me know what his behavior was on the last visit and then helping me figure out what could be bothering him - return urinary pair. She even provided a vet recommendation since she knew we were newer to the area. I will definitely use her again!’

David was our first experience with Rover - and he exceeded all expectations. After first reaching out to him, he responded quickly, offering to come over for a meet and greet. Upon his visit, our family decided quickly that he was a great fit! He was a very likable young man, who we could tell knew his stuff and would be respectable to our home while away. He texted us, with photos, at arrival and departure from our home. He is always quick to respond to keep in touch as needed. We have already booked him again for a week this summer. I would highly recommend him to friends and family!

Jace was fantastic! She did 2 short visits before our trip to get to know our 3 kitties, including one that was still in the integration process. One of our cats has a special diet as well. She was very responsive and sent my wife plenty of photos and videos. We can tell our cats liked her and we will book her for our upcoming out-of-town time when we go to a wedding. She went above and beyond and because of her study situation online, she was able to be at our home about 18-20 hours per day, which replicates our schedule working almost entirely from home. If you think to book her, do it. You will not regret your decision.
