“Denise has been checking in on my cat when I’m out of town for the last few months and she has been reliable, caring, and helpful! My cat loves her and I always enjoy the photo updates she sends”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have helped out at my uncle’s vet clinic. Most recently, my wife and I took care of her senior family dog who needed a medley of oral medications and allergy shots. I am currently in between jobs so I am home all day on the weekdays to spend time with your pet. I like to stay active and will take your pet out for walks at a minimum of 3x a day. On the weekends, your pet won’t be home alone for more than 3 hours at a time. My wife and I currently do not have any other pets in the home. We are in a townhome with stairs, and will make sure your pet is getting up/down safely. There are lots of walking paths and grassy areas in our community.

“I’m so grateful to have found Robyn to care for my cat! She looked after her for a week while I was away, and it was clear she had been well loved and cared for. Robyn was reliable, communicative, and went above and beyond, sending daily updates and photos. She made time for play, followed every care instruction perfectly, and provided a warm, comforting presence. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Robyn again!”

About: I’ve been dog sitting for friends and family for the past few years and absolutely love it. I also have a rescue dog of my own, so I understand the importance of patience, routine, and gentle care. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, or just providing companionship, I treat every dog like my own. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities and always make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. Since I’m currently not working, my schedule is very flexible, which allows me to be available for walks, drop-ins, or extended visits throughout the day. I enjoy spending time with animals and love making sure they feel cared for, whether it’s a quick visit or a long walk. I’m happy to adjust to meet your pet’s needs and routine. I currently offer drop-ins and dog walking, so I care for pets in their own homes where they’re most comfortable. I make sure to follow any specific instructions provided, whether it’s feeding, giving medications, or keeping up with routines like playtime or walks. I always respect the home and the pet’s space, and make it a priority to keep pets calm, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I don’t offer boarding at the moment, but I do have a sweet 10-year-old Norfolk Terrier at home, so I understand the importance of gentle, reliable, and attentive pet care.

About: Hello! My name is Bella, and I have quite a bit of experience under my belt. I have four dogs ranging from petite to large, (7lbs - 60lbs) and have grown up surrounded by these furry friends. Beginning at just 6 years old, I have been helping with the care of my fluffy siblings. I have first hand experience with the puppy stage all the way up to the senior vet appointments, and one of my dogs (Boxer mix) is still considered a young adult at just 4 years old. I have no problem sleeping over to keep your pet comfortable, and I can take them on lengthy walks too! If there’s one thing I’ve learned from these guys it’s that no matter the age, if a pet is loved the right way they will never lose their spark. I am currently unemployed, and a full-time college student, so I have plenty of time in the afternoons (after classes) to help out with your pets! I am fully capable of crating your dog if requested, and will keep a sharp eye on your baby at all times, on or off the leash. A clean water bowl is essential, and extra pets for being so good.

About: I have taken care of animals all my life. I have 3 cats of my own and I have owned dogs in the past as well, unfortunately due to my living in an apartment I am unable to own a dog at this time. But I feel I am well equipped to care for both dogs and cats equally. I work full time, but I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I am available at all times of the day to stop in and check on your fur baby. I have 3 cats and live in an apartment, I also have a small yard in the back area of my apartment that is fenced in and private.

About: I have taken care of other people's cats and dogs since I was 12. I personally love getting to know shy cats and dogs that can walk for miles. I strive to follow pointers set by owners to maintain training consistency. I just finished the second year of medical school and am studying for a national examination. I am able to bring my laptop with me anywhere that I am needed (if house-sitting) or can take long enough breaks to walk dogs or check in on dogs/cats. I will be respectful of your home and private spaces. My main focus will be on providing your pet the company and attention they deserve.

About: I’ve grown up with small-medium sized dogs all my life and have raised them from puppyhood onwards. In addition, I also have prior cat-sitting experience. I have a flexible work-from-home job that allows me to be available for most days of the week. Weekends are very flexible as well if weekend services are needed. Upon entering the home, I will always assess the pet’s demeanor and respect whatever signals they’re giving me. Their comfort is everything whether we’re playing, walking them, or letting them out to do their business.

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is the deep love and respect I have for every animal in my care. I cared for my cat for 16.5 wonderful years and now share my life with a sweet 4.5-year-old dog, so I truly understand the emotional bond we have with our pets. I’m experienced with both energetic pups and senior pets who need a gentler touch. I’m comfortable with administering medication, helping with puppy training basics, and providing tailored attention based on your pet’s age, temperament, and needs. Your pet will be treated like family—with patience, play, and lots of affection—because I know that’s what you’d want while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I currently work as a per diem healthcare professional. This flexible schedule allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets I care for. I only accept bookings on the days I’m not scheduled at the hospital, so your pet will always have my full focus. Whether it’s a long walk, cuddle time, or keeping up with their feeding and medication schedule, I’m committed to making your pet feel safe, loved, and cared for. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in yours, I strive to create a calm, loving, and safe environment that matches your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible. I pay close attention to their needs—whether that’s sticking to their feeding schedule, providing playtime, administering medications, or simply giving them comfort and companionship while you’re away. In your home, I treat your space with the utmost respect and keep things clean and organized. I always follow your instructions carefully and send regular updates so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. At my home (if applicable), your pet will have a cozy, relaxed atmosphere, plenty of affection, and one-on-one attention. I only take in pets I can give full care to, and my own dog is friendly and well-socialized.

“Piper is efficient and keeps improving her ability to tame my feral. I’m so happy I booked a trustworthy sitter. Very easy to communicate with and Im very greatful I can work in peace while away from my meow meows.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by all sorts of pets (dogs, cats, horses, and more) my entire life. I have extensive experience in training puppies and adult dogs, grooming both dogs and cats, and caring for senior dogs and cats. Friends, family, and strangers have trusted me to take care of their fur-babies more times than I can count! I’m currently a full time dog trainer and full time, loving cat mom. Fortunately, I have a flexible schedule for you and your fur-baby’s convenience! I ensure the utmost safety in my own cat’s day-to-day life, and will achieve nothing short of perfection when it comes to your pet’s safety and comfort. My full attention and energy will be put into caring for your pet, whether that means spending the day outside having fun, or lounging on my sunlit balcony surrounded by peace and quiet. (And no need to worry, my cat is friendly with both dogs and cats!)

About: I have a good connection with cats and dogs. Cats sit with me and next to me for hours. I hug, pet, and cuddle them. I know how to attract them. I do not stick to them a lot since cats do not like it. When they want, I get close to them, if they do not want, I give them space. I like to take dogs for a walk. I like to play with them and cuttle them. Dogs are friendly and spending time with them for me is joyful. I do not work on the weekends, so I can do it on the weekends. Also, not all day I work. I can use the time that I do not work for pet sitting. My roommates are pet lovers, so I do not have any problems taking care of them. I keep always the door closed, so pets cannot run away. The home next to me have some pets, so my environment is a safe and cat lovers. I’m careful about their foods and cleaning their place.

About: I love animals and have grown up in a house with 2 large dogs. I house sit for friends and family that have animals ranging from chickens and cats to dogs and horses. I can’t wait to meet and play with your fur-babies!! 🐾🤗 I’m an online graduate student at UNM and my weekends are open. Weekday evenings work for my schedule as well. I’m available all day on Friday’s. I have a big backyard with lots of space for our dogs to run around. My dog, Russell, loves playing fetch and my other dog, Sasha, enjoys walks to the park.

About: Several years ago, my sister and even my mom started dog walking and boarding dogs through Rover. As a result, whenever I was home, I would spend time with these dogs, walking them, playing with them, and even cleaning/bathing them when needed. I would love to help you out when you need it, even if it's for a short walk to get your dog some exercise. I currently work full-time Monday through Friday 8:15 to 5:00PM and can provide pet care after work starting at 5:30PM or on Saturdays (usually very busy on Sundays as well)! I will be aware of where your dog's food, water, treats, toys, etc. are to keep them happy and healthy while they are in my care.

Miramar pet parents share their Rover experiences
Gabi has been a lifesaver. We've had a major family health challenge, and I can't tell you how grateful I am that she has been able to take care of Ari on changing schedules. She even left flowers after my mother's diagnosis. Thank you Gabi, you're amazing!!!

Justin took care of my two large dogs, an Anatolian shepherd and a Labrador, Kobe and Bailey when we were away. Justin did drop in visits for ten days, and he was always on time, did a great job feeding them and looking into their needs with great affection and care. He is very responsible and a patient dog sitter. He also sent us updates and pictures of the dogs so we could enjoy our vacation without any worries. I would recommend Justin to anyone and would have him take care of my dogs again.

Our dog, Zeus, seemed to have the best time with Julia! After a weekend of being away, we returned to a happy and cheerful dog. We also received updates and cute photos after each drop in. Julia was very punctual, responsive, friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be booking again and recommend to anyone!

For the cat lovers: Now I know the Rover is geared towards people who own dogs but if you own a cat and are looking for a reliable, friendly and attentive sitter, look no further, Ella is fantastic! I had searched and looked through the reviews of close to 50 different sitters and I am so happy that I found Ella. She attended to all my cat’s needs and took the time to just hang out with him and play. I received daily pictures, and updates about their day together. I think he already misses her! LOL! Thank you so much for taking such good care of him! I recommend Ella for any one looking for a pet sitter… she won’t disappoint. I definitely will be contacting her again.

Andraya was absolutely amazing! 🤩 She was so patient, kind, and communicative, which really put us at ease while we were away. Our senior dog, who can be a bit particular, took to her immediately and clearly felt comfortable in her care. We’re so grateful for her thoughtful updates and the love she showed our pup. We’ll definitely be reaching out to her for all our future dog sitting needs. Highly recommend! We love her! 🥰🐶💗
