About: Being well versed in most aspects of pet careers help me take care of your pets above and beyond! I've worked professionally with dogs for over six years as both a dog trainer, groomer and have done rescue and fostering, caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. My experience allows me to confidently handle everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs, while recognizing canine body language, stress signals, and changes in behavior. Your dog will receive safe, compassionate, and attentive care from someone who truly understands dogs and is committed to keeping them happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. I work part time so I have plenty of time to spend with your pups! I work Wednesday-friday but can do drop in or sitting before and after work on those days. I have a fenced in yard and crates to create a safe environment for all dogs. I am also a dog trainer and have studied dog body language and can read dogs very well! I have my own dogs as well but they are all friendly to others but if it get a little too rowdy they can be separated if needed.

Over the years, I’ve also pet sat and dog walked for neighbors, friends, and family. I’m looking to broaden my pet-sitting and dog walking experience and would love the opportunity to care for your pets like they’re my own! Aside from going to the gym or running an occasional errand, I’m usually home, which means your dog will get plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and love throughout the day! Since my classes are online, I’m able to easily work pet care into my daily routine and make sure your dog isn’t left alone for long periods of time. I have a spacious, fully fenced backyard with plenty of grass and room for dogs to play, run around, and get fresh air safely. I also don’t currently have any dogs in my home, so your pet will get my full attention and won’t have to worry about unfamiliar animals. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. I also love taking dogs on walks and can adjust the length and pace depending on their age, energy level, and usual routine.
About: I have always grown up with animals in my home, mainly dogs and cats and some small creatures. I currently have two standard poodles. I started out taking care of other people's animals when I was a freshmen in high school with my neighbors' animals. When I started driving, that's when I expanded my services to staying overnight in other people's homes to take care of their animals. I recently graduated from Sonoma State University and taking a gap year before I get my masters degree. So right now, my schedule is pretty flexible and love any animals. Any time that someone needs care for their animals, I’m very happy to help out in any way that I can! When I stay overnight in other people's homes, if your animals need to be crated, I can do that and let them out at night if needed to go to the bathroom. I provide dog walking either morning or night.

About: I currently have 4 dogs of my own, all rescues. One of mine has special needs. I also take care of family/neighbor pets when needed, big or small. I am currently a new educator and love spending all my free time with animals. I am an early bird and get my pups their exercise and fed by 5 am. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and really started to help take care of them when I was around 15. I dog sit for family and for friends whenever they need and have always enjoyed it! Pet care for me is whenever I’m available. I do work part time and I’m a full time student but even if I am busy I can make time for your fur baby! I won’t be able to care for dogs in my own home because I am in an apartment. I will take care of the animal however the owner (you) recommends, and will make sure the animal gets a lot of love/attention! :)
About: I've been a pet sitter for more than a decade. I am thoroughly proficient with puppies and high energy dogs, such as Golden Retrievers. I enjoy looking after and creating connections with pets and their owners alike. I have open availability to care for your pets! I am currently on the job hunt, and I am pursuing pet setting as a side opportunity. I believe that the best care is around the clock supervision, and clear/concise communication with pet owners. I am always keeping the pets under my care stimulated and enjoying our time together.
About: I've personally had dogs since the age of 5. All of my dogs have been huge dogs over 90 pounds! I love all pets. I dog sit quite often, anywhere from 6 weeks to 10 years old. I have dealt with a lot of accidents that I totally do not mind picking up. If your dog needs a little more attention and activity that's even better for me! I currently am doing clovis community college online and I stay at home with my 3 big dogs. They love to go swimming so they do that everyday, especially cause it's too hot to walk them right now! I will almost never leave your pet unattended, which means they will be watched for however long you need me there. Hopefully that gets them to stay out of trouble.
“Nicole is awesome ! Super qualified, very flexible with her time, and you can tell she really loves animals. She always treats our girl amazing and is super patient with all her energy.”

“Lolita is very good with our boy, Gunner. He seems comfortable and responds well to her. She is definitely going to be someone we look to the future with. Time will tell whether she wants to continue caring for him. Thank you, Lolita.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks.
