About: I've been an animal lover and owner all my life (dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, horses, goats, pot-belly pigs, etc.) until a few years ago when I lost my last dog. I decided then that I wasn't going to get a new dog or cat, at least for now, and only love on others' pets. I've been pet and housesitting for the last five+ years, am extremely responsible, and have excellent local references. I'm a freelance book editor and formatter working from home (I also build websites), have a flexible schedule, and am able to work from anywhere with good wifi signal that I can have access to. I also work a part-time job in Oldham County that I go to several times a week so pets must be able to stay alone at least 7 hours at a time. Because I primarily work from wherever I'm staying, I cannot stay with high-maintenance pets who require a high amount of attention. I am living in the east end of Louisville (Prospect) area and would love to help you with your pet needs! Non-smoking homes only please! Rates for house and pet sitting are for a 24 hour period, so anything beyond that will be an additional $15.00/hour (or a full-day rate, whichever is less - NOT the extended care rates just added by Rover that they will not let me remove). Please let me know if you have any questions! Since I work a part-time job, the pets must be able to stay at home for at least 7 hours at a time. Other days I work from wherever I'm staying. Each pet and family have various needs so I will discuss particulars with you before the stay to make sure it's a good fit for everyone.
About: i’ve had dogs my entire life boxer, beagles, labs, poodles, i've walked, fed, and bathed them for as long as i can remember, taking care of dogs brings me joy, and i would treat your dog as my own i currently work night shift at ups, so i can’t stay the night or board the dogs but i can come over in the morning and walk or take care of them i also go to the gym everyday and physically fit to take care of them i am very respectful of other peoples houses, and of their pets, i would create a loving and safe environment and i can tend to anything needed
About: I've had dogs my whole life from small yorkies to big farm dogs. I also, have experience taking care of ailing 13 and 14 year old dogs that need special care. I love any and all dogs!! About: I have always taken care of dogs from my families to my friends. About 4 years ago I got my first dog and have enjoyed the process of being a pet parent. I understand leaving your dog can be stressful but I check in frequently because I understand that stress myself! I am a college student!! I have decently free schedules with having classes on Mon/Wed 11-430pm and Tue/Thurs 2-430PM. Fridays and Weekends are completely open! With Cats, I always make sure to check around the house for accidents and then take the litter out at least once a day. I’ll feed your cat according to the instructions provided and make sure water bowls are filled. I also like to make sure that a cat has at least 30 minutes of time to play and receive love. With dogs, I make sure to take them out during each visit for a potty break. I make sure to feed them according to Instructions and make sure water is full. I also like to check the house for accidents if they are free roam. I make sure to play for at least 30 minutes each visit that way they feel relaxed and happy!
About: Ive raised dogs and cats, bred dogs and have always had at least one pet. I have taken care of my daughter's two dogs. I grew up on a farm in indiana. We had farm animals and cats, kittens and a dog or two. Im retired and looking for part time work. I love animals and love being outside to walk and play with client's pets. About: You know when you walk by a dog, he starts walking towards you, trying to drag their owner towards you, and you know he just wants to say hello and be pet? My thought process is the same as the dogs every time I pass one. Nine times out of ten I will stop, ask the owner if it's alright to pet their dog, then sit and chat with them and love on the dog for a while. (And I only chat to pet the dog longer). All my life I have heard many cases of, "Don't touch my cat or he'll scratch you" or "Watch out for the dog, he growls at everyone" and before my visit is over I have the cat in my lap and the dog following me where ever I go. I have always felt a deep connection to furbabies. I work part-time so I will have plenty of time to care for your furbabies! I have a very flexible schedule so I will be able to accommodate the needs of your pet. I live next to a nice park where your dog can potty. “Ron and I were roommates for several years. Ron had a pittie and I owned a French Mastiff. Through the years of living under the same roof and both of us owning dogs, I have true first hand, day to day knowledge of just how amazing Ron is with dogs. Ron's dog Loki had possibly an allergy of some kind and I would see Ron giving Loki his meds like clock work. Ron always fed Loki quality dog food. Loki never lacked for love, attention, and was well behaved due to Ron being so diligent with him. Kind and caring. Ron earned my trust immediately and I would leave my Mastiff, Aubrey in his care. I NEVER left my Aubrey with anyone, ever. Aubrey adored him. Loki adored him. Ron was attentive to every tiny thing about Loki (and Aubrey) and so when he spotted a tiny lump on Loki, to the vets they went. Loki had cancer and he didn't waste one minute to have it removed. Ron was extremely vigilant watching over Loki (although, he obviously always did) and if there were any question or doubt, off to the vets he would go. I could not name one single person who I would trust more with my dog than Ron. Ron loves dogs with a passion that you only see in a handful of people.”
