About: I've been an animal lover and owner all my life (dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, horses, goats, pot-belly pigs, etc.) until a few years ago when I lost my last dog. I decided then that I wasn't going to get a new dog or cat, at least for now, and only love on others' pets. I've been pet and housesitting for the last five+ years, am extremely responsible, and have excellent local references. I'm a freelance book editor and formatter working from home (I also build websites), have a flexible schedule, and am able to work from anywhere with good wifi signal that I can have access to. I also work a part-time job in Oldham County that I go to several times a week so pets must be able to stay alone at least 7 hours at a time. Because I primarily work from wherever I'm staying, I cannot stay with high-maintenance pets who require a high amount of attention. I am living in the east end of Louisville (Prospect) area and would love to help you with your pet needs! Non-smoking homes only please! Rates for house and pet sitting are for a 24 hour period, so anything beyond that will be an additional $15.00/hour (or a full-day rate, whichever is less - NOT the extended care rates just added by Rover that they will not let me remove). Please let me know if you have any questions! Since I work a part-time job, the pets must be able to stay at home for at least 7 hours at a time. Other days I work from wherever I'm staying. Each pet and family have various needs so I will discuss particulars with you before the stay to make sure it's a good fit for everyone.

About: Hi there, I’m Elliana - it’s so nice to meet you! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for pets of all ages, from energetic puppies to gentle senior dogs. I adore both cats and dogs, and I enjoy everything from long walks and playtime to activities that keep pets mentally stimulated. I’m trained in animal safety and always keep an animal CPR guide on hand. I have experience administering medication to both cats and dogs, providing puppy training, and caring for multiple pets at once. Clear communication is important to me so I can ensure that I'm providing the safest and most comfortable experience possible. During walks, I stay fully present, I typically don't like to be on my phone while I'm on a walk. I’m always alert to potential hazards, avoiding anything that could harm your pet.

About: I am a recent college graduate and frequently volunteer with KCPP (every Sunday) doing dogs day out and am also in the process of becoming a foster. I have experience with dogs ranging from LARGE to small, and have a hard headed pitbull at home. I love all dogs and would love to become a frequent reliable sitter. I have TONS of repeat clients on and off of rover and would love to build a relationship with you and your pets! I have an apartment with a patio and open door. Nova spends a lot of time on the patio and we take long walks atleast every 4 hours including small potty breaks. I keep my dog very active and feed her twice daily, she’s allowed on furniture and in my bed. Dog sitting is currently my only source of income and has my full attention! I have tons of free time in my search for a full time job after recently graduating. I can do both! I often stay in my regular clients home and would need to do a meet and greet with my dog beforehand.

About: I've had dogs my whole life from small yorkies to big farm dogs. I also, have experience taking care of ailing 13 and 14 year old dogs that need special care. I love any and all dogs!! I'm currently talking summer online college courses, so I have very flexible hours and can work weekdays and weekends. I can do early mornings or evenings. I will treat your pets and home as if they were my own, with care and love. I can also, send you updates about your dog or dogs.

About: I have special needs pets at home that require require extra skills as well as patience. I have taken care of dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, and hamsters. I am also a certified veterinary technician, I cannot prescribe medicine or diagnose any conditions in your pet but I have an abundance of skills to make sure your pet is properly cared for in my presence. I also work during the day so care will be before work, during my lunch, and when I get off of work. I am willing to take care of any dog unless they are for some reason aggressive towards me, but I am still willing to meet them and try to become their friend. I am also willing to care for any feline. I am an animal lover and always have been and I will treat your furry kiddos as I would want all of mine treated ❤

About: I have been in the k9 care and training industry for the past 7 years. I have extensive experience with a variety of breeds, ages, and socialization levels. I’ve trained explosives detection dogs, police k9s, service dogs, and more I am a full time k9 trainer and make my own schedule to accommodate pet care and can also bring any dogs to work with me. I provide a structured and enriched time for dogs staying with me and treat all dogs as my own. I also offer training during your dog’s stay at an additional cost

About: I have quite a bit of experience with animals: 8 years approximately. In that time, I have walked and sat for family members; worked animal related jobs, including PetSmart and Feeder Supply; walked/volunteered with shelter dogs and cats; and lived with and owned several different animals. I plan to begin Vet Tech school by 2021. I'm used to dogs anywhere from 5 pounds to over 100 pounds. Cats, any size will do! And if you have other pets I can take care of those too: I'm good with other small critters like rabbits and rodents. But, more than anything, I want you to know I'm dependable and safe for your animal. I'm trustworthy, and I'll make sure to take amazing care of your pet and your home.

About: I've cared for pets since the age of 14 and have 2 cats and a dog of my own at the present time. I have also worked for a local pet care provider which strengthened my skills. I am currently flexible in my availability, but also open to ongoing set schedules. I am currently unemployed and care for my parents and our house. About: Ive raised dogs and cats, bred dogs and have always had at least one pet. I have taken care of my daughter's two dogs. I grew up on a farm in indiana. We had farm animals and cats, kittens and a dog or two. Im retired and looking for part time work. I love animals and love being outside to walk and play with client's pets. About: Updated Parvo vaccine and flea and tick meds are mandatory! It is very important to keep all the puppies safe. I grew up on a farm taking care of many types of animals. I have always had an animal in my care and could not imagine life without one. I make my own schedule as an esthetician and photographer so I have plenty of free time to love on your fur babies and give them the best of lovins! I live on a large farm in Switzerland County so your fur babies will have plenty of room to run and play. I have two dogs, two cats, and two pigs to keep your fur friends company.

About: I was raised on a farm with pets my entire life. I have a Bachelors degree in Animal Science. I have taken care of pets for friends and family for many years. I have always felt a deep connection to furbabies. I work part-time so I will have plenty of time to care for your furbabies! I have a very flexible schedule so I will be able to accommodate the needs of your pet. I live next to a nice park where your dog can potty. I have a very sweet mini poodle myself to keep your furbaby company. We often walk the Heritage Trail and take walks down by the river that I would love to include your dog on! I do have an extra crate if you would like your furbaby crated.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for 4 years now and I love it. I have grown up with animals my whole life. I had a german shepherd and I now have a golden retriever. I recently got a cat who is my best friend. I love giving animals the best love and care because they deserve it. they aren’t in our lives forever but we are their whole lives. About: Ive taken care of cats and dogs for 3 years since I moved here and I especially love cats and i will keep them entertained I can take care of pets Monday through Saturday and will take care of them I will groom there fur and take them on walks I can walk them in the yard play with them outside feed them take them on potty breaks give them a bath if needed or just relax with them.

On the weekends, I’m wide open and would love to watch your furry family member. Your dog can snuggle up on the sofa with me. If you need me to crate your dog, I can totally do that. I am also willing to take your dog for walks. I think sticking to the dog’s routine is best.
