About: I've had pets all my life and would love to care for yours too, on a temporary basis. I love to vacation and often struggle with finding a solution for my babies while I'm gone. For me my favorite choice is to have someone I know and trust stay in my home but there's hardly ever anyone available for that kind of commitment! I thought it would be awesome to be able to provide that kind of care for someone else: house/pet sitting, drop-in, or just walks/exercise. I want you to know your pets are loved and treated with gentle kindness. I recognize that I'm kind of a stranger to your babies and I'll treat them like my own and earn their trust! They'll be loved and cared for in a way that will make your absence less stressful for them and as much like their normal days as it can be while you're away. I take my responsibilities to others extremely seriously and won't be satisfied unless you are! I'm retired so my schedule is very flexible! I have availability on weekdays and weekends both. Mornings, afternoons, and evenings are fine by mutual agreement. I enjoy taking find for walks or just playing outside in the yard. On days where weather is bad, I'm happy to get the dogs outside to do their business and then play a bit indoors!

About: Hello! my name is Ellie and I: -Grew up on a hobby farm and have been responsible for the care of cats, dogs, goats, chickens and other birds. -House sat for other families and have taken care of their dogs, cats and other animals. -I have a huge love for animals -I genuinely want to do my best in taking care of your pets<3 I am currently working on growing my small business as an artist from home so I have plenty of free time on my hands. I can come any day of the week except Sunday mornings. But please try to give me as much warning as possible so that I can be sure I don't plan something else on that day. About: I have taken care of animals since I was 8. I have taken care of bunnies, ferrets, hamsters, cats and dogs! I am a proud dog owner myself. I enjoy playing with dogs inside and outside the home to burn off some energy and making sure that they are getting groomed if thats a requirement. About: I’ve pet sit for family/friends and I work at a kennel. I also own my own pets as well. I’m going to school to be a veterinarian technician. My work schedule changes a lot but I’m more than happy to work pet care in for you and your pet to make you happy! About: Hello! I have loved animals all my life. I went to Iowa State University to get a bachelor’s degree in Biology! While at ISU, I was a caretaker at the Insect Zoo, caring for and presenting all sorts of creepy crawlies. I have several years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and reptiles. I volunteered at the local humane society for several years! I love learning new things and am always reading up on how to take the best care of my pets as possible. I have raised many kittens from birth and have experience giving medications to senior cats and dogs. I live on a farm now with lots of kitties and chickens! We bought a farm in October 2023 and outside we have 14 chickens. By the end of the year we will also have goats! We have almost five acres to run and play on while your pet is here. About: We have been pet sitting for friends and colleagues for 2 years so thought why not join Rover and do more! Our clients love my family and we love their pets so it makes perfect sense. I have 4 kids, a small dog and two cats and my small pets just hide if a visiting pet is too much for them otherwise they don't get bothered or bother anyone else, human or pet! I work from home and I have 4 kids who love cats and dogs and love to help out with the dogs that we already provide services for. We are trusted with hideaway keys to homes to let dogs out and we run them in fenced in yards to burn energy. Then we make sure they have food and water and kennel them if applicable before we leave. In our house, visiting pets are watched over by all members of the family. Sometimes we buy them their own special toy to play with. We make sure they eat and get any meds they might need.

About: As a person who showed, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, chickens, and pigs in 4H as a kid, who has recently taken a interest and love for exotics and adopted a gecko, I've seen it all. I grew up on a farm with just about every kind of animal under the sun. I've bottle fed baby goats back to health, trained our 5 dogs with love and respect, bathed goats on a hot summer day, and stayed up at night to be there during the birth of baby kittens, goats, guinea pigs, and rabbits. But after all these years, I still don't mind the trouble and heart ache of loving these animals fully, even if it means having to take a lint roller to your shirt covered in dog fur. As a college student living on campus during the Fall-Spring I have just enough time to care for my Crested gecko Calcifer in between classes and work. But when Im at home for breaks like during the summer and winter, I am sure to give all my love to all the critters I have been missing at home. Over these seasonal times off from school I have a break from my on campus job, So I have plenty of time to work on my side gigs, like pet sitting, selling my art at markets, and helping my family build our new house. First and foremost always come the clients instructions and care requirements, they are the pets parent and know whats best for them. But I will always go above and beyond to meet my own personal standard of pet care, of course this very depending on the type of pet. But, typically for standard pet sitting it includes 2-3 house visits a day, regular morning and evening feedings (with a couple treats here and there of course!).

About: I've always had pets growing up. I currently have 2 dogs of my own, one female and one male. The female is 40 lbs and the male is 10lbs. I currently work a full time job so I'm only available on nights and boarding on weekends. But I'm usually always home when I'm not working. I have outdoor tie ups so your dogs can still get exercise. I will be fencing in part of the yard eventually. The 2 dogs I have are high energy and will play with any animal.
