“Jessica was great! She took time out of her night to come visit Koda the night before she walked him and see how they did with each other! She was also a great walker and was willing to just hang out with him outside of his kennel and play with his toys! We will definitely be going back to Jessica again!”

About: I've had pets all my life and would love to care for yours too, on a temporary basis. I love to vacation and often struggle with finding a solution for my babies while I'm gone. For me my favorite choice is to have someone I know and trust stay in my home but there's hardly ever anyone available for that kind of commitment! I thought it would be awesome to be able to provide that kind of care for someone else: house/pet sitting, drop-in, or just walks/exercise. I want you to know your pets are loved and treated with gentle kindness. I recognize that I'm kind of a stranger to your babies and I'll treat them like my own and earn their trust! They'll be loved and cared for in a way that will make your absence less stressful for them and as much like their normal days as it can be while you're away. I take my responsibilities to others extremely seriously and won't be satisfied unless you are! I'm retired so my schedule is very flexible! I have availability on weekdays and weekends both. Mornings, afternoons, and evenings are fine by mutual agreement. I enjoy taking find for walks or just playing outside in the yard. On days where weather is bad, I'm happy to get the dogs outside to do their business and then play a bit indoors!

“Lexi did great with Dove and gave us updates as she checked on our dog for a couple walks while we were out of town. It was an incredibly hot day and she took care of her to make sure she got outside but didn’t overheat.”

About: Hello! my name is Ellie and I: -Grew up on a hobby farm and have been responsible for the care of cats, dogs, goats, chickens and other birds. -House sat for other families and have taken care of their dogs, cats and other animals. -I have a huge love for animals -I genuinely want to do my best in taking care of your pets<3 I am currently working on growing my small business as an artist from home so I have plenty of free time on my hands. I can come any day of the week except Sunday mornings. But please try to give me as much warning as possible so that I can be sure I don't plan something else on that day. I am sorry but I do not offer bording, overnight house sitting, or doggy daycare services. I do offer dog walking and drop in visits though.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 8. I have taken care of bunnies, ferrets, hamsters, cats and dogs! I am a proud dog owner myself. I am very comfortable with walking, feeding, and bathing pets. I am passionate and willing to learn all different breed types and what each specific furbaby needs! I am currently a elementary teacher, so I am looking for a way to continue my passion and love for animals this summer through this service. I am interested in doing part-time work. I care for pets based on the individual pet needs. Making sure that the breed is taken into account, especially as it gets hotter outside. I have a doggy pool and hose system for dogs to play in the background. A very quiet neighborhood for walking. I enjoy playing with dogs inside and outside the home to burn off some energy and making sure that they are getting groomed if thats a requirement. I am comfortable with taking multiple dogs on walks.

About: I’ve pet sit for family/friends and I work at a kennel. I also own my own pets as well. I’m going to school to be a veterinarian technician. About: I have degrees in Animal Science and Animal Nutrition, as well as several years of experience caring for animals of all kinds in home, medical, and educational settings. I worked for a few years as a veterinary assistant during college so I am comfortable working with animals with medical needs. I previously worked for Hill's Pet Nutrition caring for 100-200 dogs in their canine facility every day, making sure they live their best life! I helped care for our 2 family dogs growing up, I currently have my own cat named Winifred, and I also have experience as a volunteer pet sitter while I was in college. There is no dog too big or too small, I love them all! And I would love to help you care for your furry family member. I work fully remote, so I can easily bring my work with me and spend most of my time with your pets. My daily schedule is pretty flexible, so I'm able to adjust as needed. As long as I know the important people, places, and things in and around your home, I can navigate taking care of your pets in their own space providing a routine that its similar to what they're used to while you're away!

About: As someone who has been around dogs since the age of 9, pet care comes naturally to me. I have always had a deep love and appreciation for animals, and have made it my mission to care for them intentionally. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience in pet sitting, dog walking, and basic grooming. I take pride in providing the highest level of care for every pet I encounter, and strive to create a comfortable and safe environment for them. My passion for animal welfare drives me to always go above and beyond for the pets under my care, ensuring that they receive the love and attention they deserve. Dog sitting is a great option for me. I can easily take care of the dog during the day while I work, and have plenty of time to spend with them on the weekends. Plus, since I'm already at home, it's convenient for me to give the dog the attention and care they need throughout the day. When entrusted to care for a dog owner's pet in their home while they are away, I provide attentive and responsible care. This involves following the owner's instructions for feeding, exercise, and any medication or special needs the pet may have. I also make sure the pet receives plenty of love and attention, with regular playtime and cuddles. Additionally, I keep the home clean and tidy, and communicate with the owner as needed to ensure they have peace of mind knowing their pet is in good hands.

About: Hello! I have loved animals all my life. I went to Iowa State University to get a bachelor’s degree in Biology! About: We have been pet sitting for friends and colleagues for 2 years so thought why not join Rover and do more! Our clients love my family and we love their pets so it makes perfect sense. I have 4 kids, a small dog and two cats and my small pets just hide if a visiting pet is too much for them otherwise they don't get bothered or bother anyone else, human or pet! I work from home and I have 4 kids who love cats and dogs and love to help out with the dogs that we already provide services for. We are trusted with hideaway keys to homes to let dogs out and we run them in fenced in yards to burn energy. Then we make sure they have food and water and kennel them if applicable before we leave. In our house, visiting pets are watched over by all members of the family. Sometimes we buy them their own special toy to play with. We make sure they eat and get any meds they might need.

About: As a person who showed, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, chickens, and pigs in 4H as a kid, who has recently taken a interest and love for exotics and adopted a gecko, I've seen it all. I grew up on a farm with just about every kind of animal under the sun. I've bottle fed baby goats back to health, trained our 5 dogs with love and respect, bathed goats on a hot summer day, and stayed up at night to be there during the birth of baby kittens, goats, guinea pigs, and rabbits. But after all these years, I still don't mind the trouble and heart ache of loving these animals fully, even if it means having to take a lint roller to your shirt covered in dog fur. As a college student living on campus during the Fall-Spring I have just enough time to care for my Crested gecko Calcifer in between classes and work. But when Im at home for breaks like during the summer and winter, I am sure to give all my love to all the critters I have been missing at home. Over these seasonal times off from school I have a break from my on campus job, So I have plenty of time to work on my side gigs, like pet sitting, selling my art at markets, and helping my family build our new house. First and foremost always come the clients instructions and care requirements, they are the pets parent and know whats best for them. But I will always go above and beyond to meet my own personal standard of pet care, of course this very depending on the type of pet. But, typically for standard pet sitting it includes 2-3 house visits a day, regular morning and evening feedings (with a couple treats here and there of course!).

I currently work a full time job so I'm only available on nights and boarding on weekends. But I'm usually always home when I'm not working. I have outdoor tie ups so your dogs can still get exercise. I will be fencing in part of the yard eventually. The 2 dogs I have are high energy and will play with any animal. I do have crates if they need to be crated.
