About: I have a basset hound, the most stubborn of them all. I am used to food thieves, and shenanigans! I have done canine hospice care and fostered senior dogs through a rescue shelter. I have also done pet sitting in my home, including a Doberman all last summer while his owner recovered from surgery. I meet your dog where they are striving to stick to their routines no matter if in my house or in theirs. I work outside of the home 3 days a week so I am home the majority of the time to spend time with the dogs staying with me. It also gives me plenty of time to schedule house visits for pets at home needs care. I strive to stick to your dog’s routine when staying at my place. If they sleep in the bed at night they can sleep in my bed, if they crate then we will crate. I have a dog and a cat that don’t mind sharing their space as long as they have their personal space.

About: Hi, I'm Emily! I'm not just a dog lover - I've been a dog mom to just about every size and personality. Over the years I've had a Chihuahua, Lab, Olde English Bulldog, American Staffordshire amd now we have an American Bully. I’m very comfortable with strong, energetic breeds as well as tiny lap dogs who think they run the house. We currently have an 80lb American Bully named Rosco. I particularly love the bully breeds - no judgment, just structure, play, and lots of affection. I know how to read body language for both a nervous 4lb Chihuahua and an 80lb Lab who thinks they’re a lap dog. I’ve cared for a dog who required a strict daily medication routine, so I am meticulous about timing, dosages, and watching for side effects. Pills, liquid meds, special feeding schedules - I’ve done it all and I take it seriously. My home is calm with a structured routine. My husband and I are early to bed and early to rise. I keep a clean but dog-proofed home with a predictable routine for potty breaks, walks, play, and rest. We walk in the mornings and sometimes again in the evening if the weather allows. I only book one client at a time so your pup(s) will get plenty of attention! It’s also important that your dog gets along with mine so I will schedule a meet and greet before we confirm. This helps ensure it’s a good match for everyone. I promise to send lots of updates, photos, and videos so you never worry. Your pup will be treated like family here - safe, loved, allowed on the couch and in the bed and very well cared for while you're away. I have a securely fenced yard and inside my home dogs have plenty of places to lounge, with dog beds, toys, and a quiet areas for naps. My home is non-smoking, no kids. We have one American Bully named Rosco. Rosco is neutered, two years old, about 80 lbs and loves other dogs. Rosco is a high energy dog who does best with dogs who are playful but also tolerant. Rosco also does great with smaller dogs and puppies. I am open to dogs over 40lbs but not more than 75lbs. I never leave dogs unattended without them being kenneled. I am home most of the day but utilize kennels when we’re gone for everyone’s safety. We follow a twice a day feeding schedule and I will gladly follow your instructions to the letter for feeding, crate time, and walks. I’m currently between jobs and have plenty of time for pet care. My husband works during the week and is around in the evenings and the weekends to help care for our pups. I have a fenced in yard a very friendly bulldog named Rosco to keep your pup company. I can also crate your pup if needed.

About: I’ve had a dog in the house since I was 5. I’ve dog sat 2 pit bulls while I also babysat 2 kids when I was just 14 for 12 hours a day. I currently dog sit for my mom all the time. I taught my dog how to rollover, speak, spin, and more all while being a single mom with a little baby! I’m currently staying at home taking care of my son and will be home all day every day for the most part. I can give your fur baby as much attention as they need, take them on walks, play fetch, or reinforce training and positive behavior. I don’t have a fenced yard but I have a long leash to let my dogs run a bit and stay outside for a while if they would like. I also have a little kiddie pool for them to play in for hot summer days. My dogs also enjoy chasing water straight from the hose! I always pay attention to make sure they never get overheated. At your house I would try to follow your typical routine so it feels natural for your fur baby!

About: Dogs have always been in my life. I volunteered at Animal Lifeline for 8 years and had a dog daycare of my own for a while. Dogs are everything and I’d be honored to love on yours. I currently work full time from home so doggie day care is definitely doable! My day ends at 3 pm so I can be that late afternoon or evening potty break or walk. Weekends have potential as well with pre-arranged time and notice. Should your dog(s) stay with me during the day, I have a fenced yard and no carpet in case of oopsies! If you request that I come to your house I am very reliable, responsible and respectful. I can guarantee a boat load of scritches and belly rubs as well as time for “business”.
About: Growing up on a family farm, I have had the opportunity to care for many different kinds of animals (dogs, horses, cats, chickens, goats, pigs and cows). I have taken care of family and friends dogs for the last 20 years. I have raised 5 puppies and have shown a few of them in local shows. My kids are 13 and 10 and love taking our dogs for walks, hikes and playing with them in our very large back yard. I am home all summer and my school year schedule varies so I have plenty of time to take your pup on walks and play with them. I have a large fenced back yard and 2 pups friendly pups. I have the ability to take your dog to either a paved or dirt trail for walks or runs. My dogs walk 4 to 5 miles a day but I can definitely make the walk shorter if needed. His dog Brinley is gentle and did her part in making our dog less nervous too. It wasn’t long after we left that we got a video of her playing with 3 other dogs. That was very reassuring. We chose Scott because we liked that he and Jess were full time dedicated to the care of dogs. We liked that there would be other dogs there because we felt being busy with playmates would be a positive. I have owned and cared for dogs for over 25 years. I have cared for small dogs <25 pounds all the way up to large sized Great Danes > 200 pounds. I have been fostering dogs for Safe Paws Iowa for the past 4 years. I am available for a large portion of the summer because I only coach softball outside of the school year. I am very active and would love to share that energy with dogs! Walking, jogging, or just playing in the doggy pool is no issue at all. My Golden loves to play if yours does! About: I have had pets for my whole life, whether that be hamsters, fish, dogs, cats, bunnies, and even wildlife who need extra support to get back into their habitat. I have tons of experience with different kinds of dogs. I have had my dogs since they were puppies all the way to the end of their lives, which gives me knowledge about each of the stages of pet’s lives. I also have volunteered at a dog shelter for 6+ years, so I have experience working with reactive dogs to dogs who are extremely timid and shy. I can guarantee that I have seen all kinds of personalities between all kinds of animals. I also have worked with cats at the shelter, which also gives me insight on the way cats can be which could range from very sassy (like my cat Benny lol!), to the sweetest cats. Along with those experiences with different personalities, I have lots of experiences with injured animals and have had exposure to treating wounds/minor injuries in animals. I have had to learn how to treat my dog’s diabetes since she was recently diagnosed, and have accommodated my lifestyle to fit her needs as a diabetic. I also have learned how to manage an obese dog’s weight into a healthier weight. Overall, I have grown up surrounded by animals and have seen an abundance of different situations within different kinds of animals!! I currently attend a university in the Des Moines metro and will be commuting from my home to school. This ensures that I have time to go back and forth between my house and school, which will allow me to make frequent trips to check on the pet. I also live with my parents who work from home, so there will always be someone watching the pet and ensuring that everything is going well. I get off from school around noon every day, so that will allow me to go back home and spend the rest of the afternoon with the pet and pay full attention towards them!! In my home, I am responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning after, and spending time with all of my pets. I have learned how to trim nails, properly bathe a pet, treat one of my dogs that has diabetes, and clean wounds when a pet gets injured. I have been able to experience many situations with pets and stay calm during an accident. My love for dogs is never ending. I have been taking care of other peoples dogs since I was 19. I’m available to stay with your dog. I am not available to bring your dog to my house. I believe dogs do best in their own environment with all their toys and their own area. I currently work full time for a daycare in Polk City. I work 10hr days Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On the weekends I like to take my sister’s dog for a walk unless I am watching someone else dog I will take that dog on a walk if able to. Majority of the dogs I watch stay at home because they know that area better. Anxiety is very common in dogs that get boarded or are away from home.
About: I have raised multiple dogs throughout my life including Chihuahuas, huskies, german Shepard, lab, and beagle. I have also worked at different doggie day cares and animal shelter as well. I have an open schedule just need a 7 days notice. I also work full time from home Monday-friday 8am-4:30pm. Just let me know in advance before. I have only have 1 dog at my home currently a beagle. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 15 years old when I adopted my first dog Fez while working at the local animal shelter. I've also worked at the Louisiana SPCA for a year where I spent a lot of time getting to know all the different times of breeds and temperaments of both dogs and cats. About: Hi, I'm Emily! I'm not just a dog lover - I've been a dog mom to just about every size and personality. Over the years I've had a Chihuahua, Lab, Olde English Bulldog, American Staffordshire amd now we have an American Bully. I’m very comfortable with strong, energetic breeds as well as tiny lap dogs who think they run the house. We currently have an 80lb American Bully named Rosco. I particularly love the bully breeds - no judgment, just structure, play, and lots of affection. I know how to read body language for both a nervous 4lb Chihuahua and an 80lb Lab who thinks they’re a lap dog. I’ve cared for a dog who required a strict daily medication routine, so I am meticulous about timing, dosages, and watching for side effects. Pills, liquid meds, special feeding schedules - I’ve done it all and I take it seriously. My home is calm with a structured routine. My husband and I are early to bed and early to rise. I keep a clean but dog-proofed home with a predictable routine for potty breaks, walks, play, and rest. We walk in the mornings and sometimes again in the evening if the weather allows. I only book one client at a time so your pup(s) will get plenty of attention! It’s also important that your dog gets along with mine so I will schedule a meet and greet before we confirm. This helps ensure it’s a good match for everyone. I promise to send lots of updates, photos, and videos so you never worry. Your pup will be treated like family here - safe, loved, allowed on the couch and in the bed and very well cared for while you're away. I have a securely fenced yard and inside my home dogs have plenty of places to lounge, with dog beds, toys, and a quiet areas for naps. My home is non-smoking, no kids. We have one American Bully named Rosco. Rosco is neutered, two years old, about 80 lbs and loves other dogs. Rosco is a high energy dog who does best with dogs who are playful but also tolerant. Rosco also does great with smaller dogs and puppies. I am open to dogs over 40lbs but not more than 75lbs. I never leave dogs unattended without them being kenneled. I am home most of the day but utilize kennels when we’re gone for everyone’s safety. We follow a twice a day feeding schedule and I will gladly follow your instructions to the letter for feeding, crate time, and walks. I’m currently between jobs and have plenty of time for pet care. My husband works during the week and is around in the evenings and the weekends to help care for our pups. I have a fenced in yard a very friendly bulldog named Rosco to keep your pup company. I can also crate your pup if needed.
