“Monica and her family welcomed my sweet Maple and treated her as family. I loved the continuous communication, updates, pictures and videos they captured while together. We are most definitely looking forward to visiting Monica again. She is awesome!”

“Ms. Aimee was a gem of sitter for my Mia. She would send me pictures of how Mia was adjusting as she noticed that Mia has anxiety to new places and people. She ensured that if Mia was uncomfortable that she could go to her safe place at any given time period. I appreciate that she took the time to conduct a meet and greet before the booking so that she could become acquainted with my baby. I will most definitely be doing another booking with Ms. Aimee really soon.”

“Kimora was absolutely excellent! I had to leave the country for almost two weeks for a trip to South Africa, and I was extremely anxious about leaving my babies, Cooper and Cobe, for that long. I hate leaving them at all, so finding someone I could truly trust was very important to me. Kimora quickly put my mind at ease. She was very communicative throughout my trip and sent me the most amazing photos of Cooper and Cobe. Every time I saw them, they looked happy, comfortable, relaxed, and completely at home—which meant everything to me! Being able to enjoy my trip without constantly worrying about my babies was priceless. Thank you, Kimora, for taking such wonderful care of them! ❤️ If you want to travel with peace of mind knowing your fur babies are in loving hands, I highly recommend Kimora. I would absolutely trust her with Cooper and Cobe again!”

“Carmen was great with Susie. She made her feel at home. Susie has been introduced to a cat and did very well! Susie will definitely be staying with Carmen again in the future! Thanks for loving our pets while away!!”

“Amy is amazing! She cared for our senior boxer for several days while we went on vacation. No doubt he received the best care and attention. Lots of cuddles, spoiling and love. ❤️ It is obvious how much she cares for dogs with how well she has her home set up to welcome and care for them. She sent us a lot of photos and updates while we were gone. Highly recommend!”

“Kim was an amazing caretaker for my boy Cairo along with her 4 dogs. The 3 Schnauzers were great snuggle bugs for him & Tommy, the German Shorthaired Pointed, is a gentle giant & perfect playmate, matching Cairo’s high energy & hunting instinct. Don’t hesitate booking any of her services, she has a beautiful home & backyard for the dogs & you won’t be disappointed.”

“Sydney agreed to watch my dog Bear last minute and did a great job! I was pretty worried because he can be moody and occasionally resource guard. Everything was ok though and we had no issues. I recommend :-)”

“I can’t recommend Ms. Lakeisha enough! She truly went above and beyond to make sure my dog, Ava, was well taken care of. From the moment we dropped her off, it was clear Ava was in great hands—she looked so relaxed and happy, which gave me such peace of mind. Ms. Lakeisha kept me updated regularly with pictures and messages, showing Ava enjoying herself and playing. When we returned home, Ava seemed like a whole new dog—calmer, more mature, and even with better manners! I really appreciate you teaching her that, Ms. Lakeisha! 😄 I’ll definitely be booking her services again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter.”

“Kanija was great while caring for my dog. She was very accommodating to her needs as well as my schedule changes. I recieved photos and videos as well as updates to make sure my dog was adjusting well during her stay!”

“Ten stars across the board!!!! Mikael Ragnar had a blast at Domonique's and came back happily exhausted. He literally knocked out in the car once I picked him up. Domonique diligently provided updates and lots of pics and videos of Mikael Ragnar's adventures in the city. I was relieved as I knew he was well taken care of and will definitely book Domonique in the future.”

“Pamela provides daily pictures and sometimes cute videos, too! She provides top notch care and keeps us pet parents informed. We really hope she'll watch our Molly Girl again! Molly bragged about Pamela for a LONG time!! 😉”

“Fernanda and her husband were the best! They took Harley at the last minute and they were so great with her. They are very knowledgeable about puppies and it shows. They kept me informed and sent lots of great pictures. You could definitely leave your dog with them and enjoy your time away with no worries.”

“Tammie was such a wonderful petsitter for our little dog, Penny. It was Penny's first time staying with someone and I didn't know how she would do. Tammie was great in sending updates, videos, and images and it was obvious Penny loved her weekend "vacation". We were grateful with the level of care and kindness Tammie showed us and would definitely book with her again. Thanks Tammie! You're the best!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was about 16 years old and have many years of hands-on experience with pets of different personalities and needs. I regularly dog sit for family and friends and also spent a few years working in an animal shelter, where I gained additional experience caring for and interacting with animals. I also have experience cat sitting and am a proud dog owner myself—my dog, Marshall, is a big part of my life! I truly enjoy spending time with animals and will treat your pets with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I currently work from home and have plenty of free time to care for your pets, with open availability; this can be adjusted to anyone's schedule. I have an open backyard and plenty of room for your fur babies to explore, but even having my own pet at home, it would take away from caring for yours. I will always provide a loving and safe environment for all pets.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Milner home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Milner.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Milner sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
