I am a teacher so have the whole summer off to play! During the school year, my husband has a flexible schedule so between the two of us, we can take care of whatever your pet needs! About: First, I live in Craig, but willing to try to make pickups work in Steamboat, meeting halfway or we travel for the gym often, so please don't hesitate to reach out to discuss. We have a large yard that is great for active dogs. There is always an adult in the house to watch/care for your pup, my mother in law lives with us, Mark is home often and we have 2 kids, ages 10 and 12. I enjoy being around dogs, and feel comfortable dealing with some simple behavior issues. I am very specific with my dog and willing to be as specific with yours if needed. I am active and can give walks daily. Please don't hesitate to let me know if any special needs and I'll do my best to be accommodating. I am active lifestyle and so going on walks and waking up early are part of my normal process. I am willing to work with any situation as best I can. I maintain control of situations and always attentive to behaviors or signs of fear or aggression to make sure it is addressed before any issues arise. I used to train horses when I was younger so the patience and consistency is something I've grown up with towards animals.

About: I have taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 13 years old and have previously owned a dog for over 16 years. I am excellent at training new dogs and am fully capable of taking care of their every need. I have experience with both large and small dogs and am confident handling either size. I adore both dogs and cats and will show the same love and attention to your pet as if it were my own. I have very flexible hours and can typically choose my own schedule, so I would be able to dedicate extra time and attention to caring for your pet and making sure all of their needs are met. I live in a pet friendly apartment with a balcony that is pet safe and have a yard as well as a park that is very close to where I live. Boarded dogs would typically go on walks 3 times a day unless preferred differently by owner and play time would happen regularly throughout the day.

About: I can provide pet care in your own home! I have had pets my entire life and several years experience working in a veterinary hospital. I most recently worked as a veterinary technician at Pet Kare Clinic in Steamboat Springs, so I have extensive knowledge and experience caring for all types of pets. I am extremely comfortable administering medications or providing any other sort of medical care you may need. I can also perform baths and grooming if necessary. I'm happy to discuss ways to find the best schedule that works for you and your pets! My current work schedule is flexible so I can provide plenty of attention and exercise as needed. Depending on the day, I might be able to spend the entire day with your dog, or may need to leave them alone for a short time (typically I can avoid this). I have a backyard and a friendly 3-year-old border collie mix to keep your fur baby company. My home is very safe and comfortable, and I allow dogs on my furniture :) I'm currently working only part-time, so I will have plenty of time to hang and exercise your pup. I typically take my dog on at least one hour-long off-leash walk per day, so if your dog is behaved off-leash, this fits in with my current schedule great! I can accommodate leashed walks instead if necessary. I have a yard for early morning and late night potty breaks, and live right next to Emerald mountain so plenty of trails nearby. I typically wake up early and take my dog outside straight away, so we will usually start with an early morning potty break and breakfast. We can take as many walks as needed depending on energy level and I always love some snuggles in the evening!

About: I am an avid dog lover. Patient and responsible. I understand that your dog is your family and will treat it as such. I've grown up with dogs, from pitbulls to labs, for the majority of my life and I grew up on a small farm. I am comfortable giving medications and attending to special needs. The bigger the dog the better- I don't have a fear of any breeds and will treat each dog with the love I would give my own. If you are comfortable with it, I'll take your dog on hikes, to the dog park or just a simple stroll down the street. If your dog just needs someone to keep it company I'll more than happily just sit with it and give it all the pets it can handle.

I work mostly remotely so I have a flexible schedule that allows me to spend more time with the animals. I’m able to give walks and potty breaks more regularly than if I had a “9-5” job. About: I have grown up with pets for 18 years so I know how to take care of cats, dogs, and even fish. My friend has asked me to take care of her cat many times and I would love to have the opportunity to walk, play with, and take care of other pets as well! I’m currently working part-time and I will not be heading off to college until September, so I am available most weekdays and some weekends. However, I am available almost every afternoon! About: I grew up on a ranch in Texas where I took care of all sorts of animals - dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens, pigs, rabbits, llamas, alpacas (yes, they’re different from llamas), and zebras. In undergrad, I worked as an agility and behavioral trainer for dogs. I started my own dog boarding business. I have trained horses and ridden competitively since I was 10. I love being around animals! I work from home and have a flexible schedule. Outside of going to the barn in the morning and gym in the evening, I’m normally home and accessible. I have a large fenced yard and direct access to trails, including Iron Horse. I have three of dogs who I walk on a daily basis - so I’m used to juggling multiple animals at once. I also have one dog and horse on daily medication, so I understand the importance of feeding and medication regimens.
