About: Caring for animals is one of my greatest passions in life. I have over 30 years of experience and have cared for many different animals including horses, bearded dragons, goats, sheep, hamsters, ducks, chickens, fish, snakes, and of course, dogs and cats. I had a little farm in Illinois before I moved to California in 2015. On this farm, I rescued and cared for chickens, kittens, dogs, and goats. I have experience with training puppies as well as providing extra care to aging animals. I look forward to meeting you and your pets. I have a flexible schedule and can come to your home to care for your pets any day of the week, longer stays are available upon request. I can drop in to care for your pets when needed. Overnight stays are available upon request. I go the extra mile to ensure your home and your pets are cared for.

I am extremely reliable, so you will never have to worry about a thing, no matter how particular the needs of your pet. I can't wait to meet you and your favorite animal! You can trust that I will care for your dog as if she or he were my very own precious pet. With love, Angela I am a stay at home freelancer, so your dog will always have company, and I'll be able to attend to them fully and completely. Whether your dog likes constant attention and cuddles, or lots of activity and play, or quiet spaces to be left undisturbed, I will make sure your sweetie gets what they need. My house: We lots of space and many cozy sleeping surfaces so your dog can find the perfect spot to relax, snooze, or socialize. And they're welcome to make themself cozy anywhere they like - on the couch or bed, or if you'd rather they don't get accustomed to jumping on furniture, I have plenty of cozy dogs beds for them to snuggle up in. I don't board large dogs, so you don't have to worry that your dog will be in the company of an animal that might intimidate them. I have a huge, safe, fenced-in yard that they'll have access to all day long. Your house: I know it can be hard to leave your home and pets in the care of someone else. You can trust that I will take as much care of your home & dogs as I do with my own (and that's a lot!!). I'm also a plant person and would be glad to care for your gardens and houseplants. You can rest assured that everything will be well taken care of and secure. I'll send you daily photos & videos so you can see for yourself.

About: I've house-sat, dog-sat, and farm-sat since I was a kid, taking care of everything from a pregnant Labrador Retriever to a flock of sheep. Growing up in 4-H I learned a lot about training all kinds of animals, and was awarded High Point in Obedience (for both on leash and off leash) and Best Handler numerous times at our local county fairs' dog shows. I work from home, and my flexible hours allow me to set my own schedule. This gives me plenty of time and flexibility to care for your pets! I am vigilant in my animal care, with my own animals and with other's. After raising a number of puppies I understand the importance of consistency, routine, fairness in expectations, and (most of all) frequent potty breaks!

About: I’ve lived with dogs since my first memory. I grew up on a farm, and we had 3-6 dogs at any given time. When I went to college, I adopted the first dog I would raise on my own -- he lived almost 15 happy years. I rescued another pup in my mid-thirties — he’s going on 7, and we’re best buds. So, I have experience taking care of puppies, seniors, and every age in between. My dogs and I have participated in puppy schools and worked 1:1 with excellent dog trainers -- in each case, I learned as much as my dog. I believe dogs just want to give love and get love back. This emotional reciprocation, along with adequate exercise and a healthy diet, makes for a happy, healthy dog. I believe every dog is good by nature, and, as humans, we have a responsibility to provide dogs with a nurturing environment in which they can be their good-natured, happy selves. I love connecting with a new dog, understanding its world and experience. With empathy from this connection, I find it easier to care for a dog and provide the type of love any particular dog needs and wants -- through daily routines, fun-hearted play, and plenty of attention. Ultimately, this leads to a more enjoyable relationship between human and canine. While I’m primarily a dog person, I grew up with lots of cats on the farm and have lived with and cared for cats here and there as an adult. I feel comfortable with cats and understand their needs. I understand the trust required to let someone else take care of your pet. My promise is to always be building and reinforcing my trustworthiness as a caregiver to animals and plants. I walk my dog every day. I understand some dogs need more than one walk per day, depending on their energy level. I also make sure my dog gets outside several times a day to enjoy the fresh air and relieve them. I will do the same for yours, based on your preferences. At this time, I work from home, so my availability for drop-ins or walks is very flexible. I am calm, gentle, and patient and aim to create an environment where the dogs I care for can feel and act the same. When walking, I like to keep dogs on a 6-foot leash (not a retractable leash) and keep the dog walking forward as opposed to stopping every few seconds. I consider myself the leader (not the dog) and intend to set a vibe where the dog understands they have a job to do -- walk!

“We had our first drop in and walking visit with Michelle and nothing but high praise and tail wags for her services. She a wonderful communicator and clearly in great command in being able to entertain and walk our two our two fur babies. 2 dogs, higher costs- but piece of mind in knowing that an experienced caring person will be here. We look forward to seeing her again for walks, drops in and some future planned over night house visits. Eileen F”

About: I’ve taken care of all types of dogs for 30 years. I have two Pittbull mixes , one boxer Pitt and one Pitt bulldog. The Pitt Bull Dog has intervertebral disk disease and used my training in occupational therapy and massage and did physical therapy with him myself so he could use his back legs again, after being paralyzed and needing a wheelchair. He’s now able to walk without his wheelchair. I’ve also taken pittbull training classes with them and am knowledgeable about training cues. I currently work as a distribution sales executive, and work from home, so have free time in the afternoons and weekends. I have a baby and two dogs of my own and would still be able to take some time to visit other dogs in my area. I can check on pets during the day or while clients are on vacation . I can take them on walks, let them out in the yard, play fetch , feed them , snuggle them, and even give medicine.

“Josh is an incredible and reliable dog walker! We adopted our little goofball of a greyhound puppy, noodle, about 3 weeks ago and love her to pieces, but her puppy energy has been a lot to manage while we’re working. Josh has been an absolute life saver as we navigate our new routine with Noodle. She waits by the door for him before her walk and cries when he leaves (before passing out asleep from the quality walk)- she loves him and we trust him tons! Can’t recommend Josh enough!”
