About: I have been taking care of dogs for over 25 years. Since I've retired, I wanted the opportunity to watch dogs on a more regular basis. I love dogs.. They say, a happy wife is a happy life.. In the same vain.. A happy dog is a happy household. My dogs are my family. Any dogs I am entrusted to take care of will be treated as an extension of my family. They would be loved and given free reign of the house. My first priority is the welfare of any dog I am taking care of. While you are away, you will be sent daily updates about your pet. I will follow your instructions as to the care of your dog. Your dog will be well cared for.. My priority is the welfare of your pet. I look forward to hearing from you. I'm retired so my schedule is flexible. Dogs are welcome to stay for a day or any extended period of time. All breeds are welcome. I have a fenced in back yard and care for all dogs as if they were a member of my family. I abide by any specific instructions the owners have.

About: I own It takes a village animal rescue, though I am taking a 2 year break, I have had 451 dogs come through my rescue in the last 10 years. I can help with house training, and basic puppy skills. I have probably had about 100 plus puppies in the last 10 years. I have a facebook account for the rescue and you can see all that My Volunteers and I have done over the years. Pet care has been a way of life for me for the last 10 years, I own an animal rescue, but am taking a 2 year hiatus, but miss haveing dogs around all day. I am home 90% of the time so I am there to let dogs out who might not be potty trained or sometimes it is just for company, laying on the couch watching TV and getting rubbed. I have a fenced in yard with lots of room to roam. I also have Mr Donovan, 110 pound hound mix that lost his 2 playmates in the last 2 months, so he would love having anotherfriend to hang/ play with.

About: I have cared for cats for most of my life but 5 years ago my fiancé and I adopted my first dog. For the past 5 years, I’ve cared for my dog, Mary Jane, who has been my sweetest teacher in understanding dog behavior, routines, and communication. Through caring for her, I’ve gained hands-on experience with daily walking, feeding schedules, basic training reinforcement, administering simple medications, and creating a calm, consistent environment for a happy pup. I have also cared for many friends pets while they were away on vacation. I may be new to Rover, but I’m not new to being a responsible, attentive animal owner. Caring for animals is already woven into my daily rhythm. I work part-time with flexible hours, giving me plenty of space in my schedule for peaceful walks, playtime, and check-ins with pets. I’m used to creating a balanced routine around my own dog, and bringing that same calm, attentive energy to other pets feels completely natural. I am currently free to sit/walk any day of the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and familiar environment for them. I follow your routines exactly as you outline them — from feeding instructions to walk times to any training cues your dog is used to. I keep doors and gates secured, monitor their body language closely, and make sure they always have fresh water and a comfortable space to relax. Trust is extremely important to me, so I communicate clearly, send updates/photos, and treat your home with the same respect and care I treat your pet.

About: I’ve have been a dog owner all throughout my life. I currently have a golden retriever that is three year old named Steve. I know level 1 and level 2 dog training techniques. And enjoy taking dogs for long walks to get their energy out. I live five minutes from my job and can come home if needed and never work weekends. My wife works from home 3 out of 5 week days. I have a large fenced in yard (.75 acres) and a dog friendly golden retriever named Steve. I have an extra crate available if your pet needs crating.

We also spent a lot of time working with local shelters. * Professionally, I started working in boarding and assisting with training and behavioral rehabilitation 20 years ago * In 2012, I started my career in dog grooming * I am certified to groom dogs and cats * In 2020, I became certified to train new groomers for their certifications. My specialties: * I specialize in fear-free, comfort experiences. * I do trauma rehabilitation grooming for pets who can't go to standard salons due to behavior/aggression issues. For this, I focus on building trust and over time, getting your fur babies comfortable enough with the process so that they learn to enjoy being groomed. The goal is to one day get them to the point where they can once again be welcomed back to a normal salon. * Many of the grooms I perform are also for pets that are unable to be serviced in standard salons due to health issues. * Senior pet care * Puppy care * Basic training * Administering medications and monitoring for symptoms and side effects. What to expect during their stay: * Daily walks 2-4 times a day (depending on if you have them in a schedule, I try to maintain that for you) * Plenty of one on one time and attention! * Trips to the dog park (with your permission and depending on your pet for obvious safety reasons) * Story time! (It may sound silly, but I have found that offensive times, relaxing and reading a bedtime story out loud, often helps to calm a pets anxiety levels. I have even had success in this with pets that have high anxiety and destructive/aggressive behavior for storms and loud noises when they were out of their medication) * A calming, loving, family experience for your fur baby. Always. * Picture, video, and message updates about your pet! * Play time and exercise! * Trust that I will follow strict instructions and schedules if given. Routine is important. * Trust that your pup is being cared for someone experienced in emergency and medical situations. I will act quickly and always do what is best for your pet! In anything I do, I ensure your dog feels safe, loved, and comfortable. I treat all pets like they are family and build genuine bonds. Communication is key, so it is important that you not only communicate as much information about your dog to me so I can give the best experience, but also that you receive full reports on behavior, any changes I may have noticed in your pup, subtle signs of potential health concerns, etc. I will also work with your dog on basic training if needed during their stays, and educated you as needed on grooming maintenance, your pets body language and behavior shifts to elevate your bond at home as well. I do offer grooming services for any pets in my care. However, pricing and service completion will depend on the size of your dog, condition your pet is in, and their stress levels. I will never force a pet through a service. I am generally home all day. I do work as a groomer for pets that are unable to got to salons, but I do this from home as well. So your pets will have round the clock love and care. You will need to provide any food and specific treats if your pet has a favorite or dietary restrictions/allergies. Pets are family. I will personally take them for walks throughout the day for fresh air and exercise, play with them and ensure they feel comfortable and lived while you are away. I do offer creating services, however, depending on the size of your dog, you may have to supply the crate. You pet will always be treated like family, but the details of their routine and activities will depend on your instructions. I respect that different lifestyles require different things (i.e crating vs free roam, scheduled feeding vs grazing, scheduled walks/potty breaks vs whenever they want to go out, etc.) and will maintain that sense of normalcy as much as possible. If you opt for grooming, and I am able to comfortably groom your dog, grooming will take place 1-2 days before your return. That way they have time to decompress after, and if they are stressed for parts, it gives leeway to do little bits over time.

About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. Around 5 years ago I got a few of my own. I have been around all types of animals from cats to Cane Corsos. I have never had any problem being around any type of animal regardless of size. I love going on walks. I normally stop by and feed my family's pets and make sure they are well taken care of. I have also trained puppies and have handled senior pets as well! Pet care is not something interrupts my daily or weekly routine. It is something that I actually prefer to do with my time. I love being able to help people with their fur babies while they have prior engagements and cannot be there at a certain time! I will follow all of your rules while inside your house. If you need your pup crated I can easily do that. I can also let them out in your fenced yard or take them out on a leash.
