“Ellen was a great host for our sheepdog! Communication was excellent from start to finish. She sent pictures and video so we knew that Lucy was enjoying her time. Big fenced in backyard was a bonus. Highly recommend.”

“Great communication for booking, through their stay, and when we needed to adjust our pick up time. We received pictures of our ladies several times, which brightened our day and helped us feel at ease when we were away. They were very attentive to the different food and medication needs our ladies have. We will definitely use them again for future boarding.”

“Such a treat to have Duane & Lauren take care of my pup, Rapha while I was away. They are very responsive and attentive to the needs of both owner and doggie. Thank you!”

“Lucy had a great weekend with Jennifer! She got along great with Oscar. Tick season is pretty bad this year and Jennifer made sure to look over Lucy and keep her tick-free!”

“Kaycee was very helpful at our meet and greet, we hung out in their yard for a bit and she explained their setup and routine. She sent pictures while Ollie was boarded, which is much appreciated, and accommodated Ollie when he needed company overnight.”

“Clover had an awesome time with Sarah and her pups. This was our first time using Rover and Sarah made us super comfortable with the process. She was very fast with responses, and sent updates and photos while we were away. Her dogs were very friendly with us and made quick friends with Clover. Would recommend to anyone, and will definitely use again.”

“Katy and DJ are wonderful sitters! We are so at peace leaving our dog Milo in their care. They send us frequent updates and pictures. Milo is worn out by the time he comes home. He loves his walks and playing with their pup! I would highly recommend them!”

“Ronalisa took wonderful care of our two pups for the weekend! She really put our minds at ease when we were away, providing updates and pictures. I would highly recommend Ronalisa!”

“Tanya was amazing. We had tried to find a pet sitter for our very anxious/sometimes aggressive dog Millie for a long time, and finally met Tanya. She clearly is very passionate about helping animals feel safe and cared for, and was so compassionate about our poor dog's fears and problems. We did a trial sleepover before our 10-day trip and it went great. When we were on our trip, Tanya sent us frequent updates and videos, showing how well Millie was doing. She replied quickly to our texts and was very reassuring. When we picked Millie up, she appeared well cared-for and fine (or as fine as our dog gets!) We HIGHLY recommend Tanya!”

“Many others rejected my pitty because he’s a huge chicken that barks at strangers. Emma was not only willing to give him a chance, but also willing to be patient with him during the meet and greet. My dog quickly warmed up to her, which isn’t always the case with him. He had an absolute blast during his stay! I could tell how comfortable he was in the pictures sent. When I got back he was in such a good mood and was so happy to see me. Fantastic experience, I would feel comfortable leaving my boy with Emma any time!”

“Brad was available on very short notice for us to get away for the weekend. We are very thankful that he took on our gentle giant. Mac had a great stay and we got picture updates as well.”

“Beth and her family were wonderful and cared so well for my older husky mix Zelda! Z settled in well & they were very accommodating for all of her needs. The teenage boys gave her lots of attention. Zelda was very comfortable there. Great communication, sweet people, and easy folks to talk to. Will definitely book again!”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s personality. I’ve been caring for animals for 8+ years and previously worked at a nonprofit animal shelter, where I cared for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’m comfortable with everything from giving medications to helping nervous or high-energy pets feel comfortable. I’ve also been professionally trained in dog walking, cared for exotic pets, volunteered at a humane society, and fostered lots of kittens. I currently have two cats of my own, so I know how much our pets mean to us. ❤️ I have a 5-star Rover rating and lots of wonderful client testimonials, and I’d love the chance to get to know your pets, too! I work full-time with availability weekday mornings and evenings, weekends, and holidays. I offer walks, drop-ins, house sitting, and boarding. Boarded pets need to be comfortable around cats as I have 2 pet cats. I’ll give your pets lots of love, attention, and the same kind of care I’d want someone to give mine. 🐾 Please contact me for any questions about availability. Depending on your pet's needs, I am available for evenings, overnights, or weekends. I work a regular full-time schedule, so during the weekdays I'm out of the house extended hours, but weekends give me full care availability. Nothing is more important than the safety of your pets. I request all clients to inform me of any potential safety concerns with your pets.

“Beatrice did a great job watching over Chopa :) She sent messages and pictures to provide updates during the boarding which was great! I would definitely reach out to her again when we need boarding service again”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Milford home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Milford.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Milford sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
