About: Every animal deserves to feel safe, and I pride myself on being calm, compassionate, and attentive. Whether your fur baby is energetic or anxious, I meet them with patience to create that trusting bond during our time together. ‼️IMPORTANT SCHEDULING INFORMATION‼️ I’m very transparent about my other jobs outside of Rover. Below are the only times I am *not* available during a typical week. (Please reach out if you have any questions!) • Mondays: 12pm-12:30pm with an off-Rover repeat client, 6pm-8pm at Save the Animals Foundation • Wednesdays: 12pm-5pm at Nova Candle Company • Thursdays: 11am-6pm at Nova Candle Company • Saturdays: 10am-3pm at Nova Candle Company I always approach animals with the same energy they give off. If I come in and they’re super excited, I’m going to greet them playfully. If I come in and they’re cautious or relaxed, though, I’m going to greet them softly.

About: I’ve been lucky enough to be trusted with baby sitting, house sitting, and pet sitting for the past 10+ years. With a rescue pup of my own, I can promise to provide the same unconditional love and commitment to your sweeties, as I do my own. I am an educator who works part time over the summers! I also only live about 6 minutes from my part time job which gives me the opportunity to have an extremely open and flexible schedule! I am extremely observant and pay attention to detail. As an educator, it is my job to be able to multitask while also fostering emotional and comfort needs. About: I have taken care of my own dogs and others dog's for over 10 years now. My family and I have 3 dogs currently and have owned 6 dogs throughout my life of varying sizes. I have dog sat and walked dogs for many of my friends and family over the years with the dogs being in size ranges as big as Great Danes down to little Griffons. In addition I have bathed and brushed dogs for years as well. I of course am also very affectionate towards any dogs, making sure to give them lots of pets and scratches. I will be available between 10 AM-6 PM every weekday unless specified otherwise, though days and hours are mutable and can be subject to change in the future. If I decide to change my hours/days all clients will be notified of the change with ample time to figure something out between us if need be. I will show your dog affection and make sure they have enough food and water as needed. I can also differ my services based off what my client needs. For example during a drop in I can wear out your overly excited puppy, I can clean your litterbox, or I can just lay down and chill with your older dog who just needs some pets and attention. I am easygoing and can work with any client.

About: I've cared for dogs, cats, fish, and small animals for 20 years. I am also a reptile owner and comfortable caring for some reptiles and amphibians. I am currently available full time for pet care, regarding pet sitting or daily walks. I am also able to care for and feed some reptiles and most amphibians. I much prefer to care for animals in their own home. I feel it is less stress on the animal and more comfortable for them.

About: I grew up on a dairy farm and have always had cats and dogs around. My kids are excited to learn some responsibility through animal care along with my supervision and spend time with dogs. Recently retired from corporate world and children expressed interest in dog walking/boarding. Good opportunity to walk and teach children lessons in pet care while spending time bonding with dogs. We have a fully fenced backyard in addition to a bonus room that the animal would stay in while boarded. My children and I would show a lot of care and attention to your pet.

About: I am a full time pharmacist with a unique overnight schedule. I love all animals so I am looking for some jobs on the side caring for animals. I grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters, chinchillas and parakeets. I work third shift 7 days on and 7 days off so I have a very flexible schedule to care for your pets. I can make any schedule work. I have a non social bulldog so I am able to care for a cat or dog in your own home and could care for a smaller caged animal in my own.

I noticed that every time I used a kennel service for our fur baby, our dog would get so scared, stress shed, nervous/anxiety, she would not eat, different times she caught kennel cough (which meant more vet bills), and our dog was definitely unhappy with the small kennel space surrounded by other upset loud barking pups/dogs/animals! I believe I can help your dog/pet feel loved, safe, comfortable, fed, clean, exercised, washed (optional), fun/waggy tails, like family, when you are away. My name is Michelle. I love animals! We have a small dog, bunny and fish! I used to volunteer at SPCA and Paw-sitive (Non profit, walk, groom, and feed stray dogs until they got adopted). I have housesit/housesat and dogsit/catsit/ bird and turtles-sat for friends and was suggested to extend my love on ROVER! (Side note: My husband goes to work during the day.I recently changed our schedule to homeschooling. My 2 kids are used to me caring, playing, and walking other dogs. They loves animals as well. We all have experience caring for animals, see pictures). I have went out of the way to teach , show and guide my children to be gentle, slow approaching/no sudden movements, no chasing, be responsible, ask before pet, be aware and careful around animals. I want to help other families feel comfortable and confident to leave their pet with me. We have our Covid shots and boosters. I am home everyday (except 3-4hours out of the house now and then for groceries or friends farm, or kids play dates). I keep my distance from crowds, we sanitize, and wash our hands frequently. I clean the house and wipe everything all the time. We got a new Hoover carpet wash, and our dog is up to date with shots! Your pet is safe and will be treated like royalty, pampered, loved like our pup/family! I will text or email you pictures and FaceTime your dog/pet too, if you like. Your dog/cat/pet is unique and special to you so I will do my best to help. I have owned dogs most my life (had my first pup with the responsibilities at 6 years old, and owned/fostered animals on and off for about 34 years) …cared for puppies, adults and senior dogs such as pit bulls, Pekingese, Shih Tzu , mini pincher Dobermans ,then fostered a German Shepard, a black pup Labradors, also taken cared of a Golden Retrievers, a Pitbull, poodles, bulldogs, Soft- wheat Terriers, birds, hamsters, turtles, a class pet guinea pig, and cared for friends cats too (see photos). (Yes, I have a small dog but our house is big enough to have another dog/cat/pet around . I can gate, and keep my dog separate if need) Your pet will be taken out for a run or walk at least 4x a day (usually 4-9 times with pictures)! Schedule: I take your/our dog out first thing in the morning, break, lunch, then around 3-4pm, around/after dinner time, and right before bedtime too ( update you with photos)! I will spend time with your dog/cat/pet. I will sit with, read to, massage, clean, comb, feed and pet (constantly check on, if they don’t want to be disturbed)! Even while I read to my kids, homeschool or while we watch tv at night. And my dog will be gated, separated, away from your dog/pet when we are out and when requested. I left my 911 emergency call taking position to be a stay at home mother. I would love to care for, walk, play, cuddle with your dog and take your dog to the park with us too ! *** ONLY DOGS UNDER 35lbs at this time. Thank you*** I have a lot of room, space, toys, pillows, blankets for your pup/dog/cat/pet (separated away from our dog), open concept spacious house, and animal-friendly neighborhood. I live in a cul-de-sac with extremely caring sweet neighbors that know me/us. Several families around us have animals of their own and I know most dogs have been trained or gone thru training as well as ours. I will text or email you pictures and FaceTime your dog/pet too if you like. Your dog/pet is unique and special to you so I will do my best to help. I will keep your dog/pet on a leash every time we go outside, so they don't go missing or let other dogs bother them ***Off leash free to run roam inside the house ***! Our dog is up to date with all shots, vet visits, and takes medication for tick/flee, heart worms. We give our dog a shower once every other week and when she gets muddy. I can help clean your dog/pet too, let us know!

About: I have been taking care of pets my whole life. I have a dog and cat of my own and I will treat your pets with the same love and respect I have for my fur babies! I am a hairdresser part time, so I have plenty of time during early afternoons and evenings to do drop ins, walks, and check ins! I will respect your home while doing drop in, by keeping my attention fully on your pets while giving them all love and attention they need!

About: I am a very passionate, attentive, and empathetic person when it comes to any and all animals! For many years I have taken sole care of both dogs and cats of all different breeds, and am well experienced in all general pet care to include special needs pets. All of the dogs I ever had as a kid were trained as puppies almost solely by myself and my brothers. My mom used to make me read books and do online research about the breed of dog we had, different training techniques, K9 first-aid, and so much more. Being as passionate as I am about animals, those studies were well retained, and while I don't have professional experience, the knowledge gained from doing it on my own with 9 different dogs over my lifetime have graced me with at the very least, an in depth knowledge of all different stages of dog ownership. This knowledge was also accentuated professionally as I worked alongside military police K9 handlers during my time in the Air Force. Not to worry though, I mix structure, routine, and discipline with plenty of tender loving care, and know how to tune my approach to dogs of all temperaments. In regards to puppies: I have experience potty training, leash training, crate training, and what I would call experienced but moderate obedience training skills. I know how to deal with things like food aggression, how to properly establish the "hierarchy" or "pack mentality" and other conditioning behaviors. As well as handling young puppies, I've even assisted a momma in giving birth to a new litter, and taking special care of a brand new litter of 7 pups! So my experience with all dogs truly does begin at birth and goes all the way to end of life care. For the old timers: The couch potatoes in our lives need just as much, and sometimes even more care than their energetic and young counterparts. I have experience with things like giving medication and shots, managing specialty diets, and a number of other age specific needs. I'm very patient and am willing to take the time to get to know your pet and what they need. Every animal has a different personality and needs attention in different ways, and I'm very attentive to that! I will always treat your pet as if they were my own, and will to the best of my ability make sure that your pet is well taken care of at all times. I'm a full-time nomad and side gigs are my primary source of income. Pet care IS my weekly routine. I'm available and more than happy to abide by the normal 9-5 schedule for daytime pet care, but I can also easily adjust to fit any alternate schedule; whether you need overnight pet care, or any other odd schedule constraints met, I am available. I have lived with my own dog in a variety of different conditions. From being on our own in both houses and apartments, to having a full house of dogs and cats. I am well versed in any additional responsibilities and special care based on living situations, and have no trouble go up and down a few flights of stairs for potty breaks/walks, etc.
