About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. For over 20 years, I’ve trained many dogs small and large including bully breeds, giving me hands-on experience with everything from playful puppies to strong, high-energy adults and gentle senior dogs. What makes me different from other sitters is that caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s how my family and I live every day. On our family farm, we have dogs of our own, along with sheep, chickens, cats, turtles, horses, and pigs. Our home sits on a beautiful 2-acre property right in the center of town, surrounded by large pine and eucalyptus trees that keep the property shaded and cool almost year-round. We’ve designed our farm to be safe and comfortable for pets of all kinds. There are secure, fenced areas where dogs can run and play freely, as well as plenty of quiet, shaded spots for resting outdoors. Inside, we have cozy, pet-friendly spaces for naps, snuggles, or crate time if that’s what your dog prefers. Because we live and work from home, your pets will have near-constant companionship and care. Our own dogs are friendly and social, and we carefully manage introductions to make sure every guest feels safe, relaxed, and loved.

About: A self proclaimed “crazy” dog woman, I have loved and cared for dogs ( and other 4 legged ones) since childhood. My dogs are treated like family members. I invest a lot of time and energy into training them and do agility for fun. I have a large yard and a dog door and am walking distance to a couple of parks. I love taking long walks in my neighborhood and also going on adventures to the River Path and Isabel Lee Preserve. My dog Rumi is well socialized and enjoys having dog visitors too. I currently work part time and am in a long distance masters program so am home a lot. I take long walks in my neighborhood twice a day and often walk on the River Path too. Sometimes we go to Smiling Dog Ranch park and hike weekly. My large is fully enclosed with 6 foot high cinderblock walls on two sides and 6 foot high corrugated steel fencing on the other sides. There is a dog door into the backyard, a shaded patio and ramada.

Please note that for house sitting, I will occasionally need to leave for up to 8 hours if I am booked for childcare in advance, but not often. Please check in if your pet requires around the clock care and I will let you know if I am able to at that time. Otherwise I am with your pets majority of the time :) I have the most gentle and loving senior retriever and a sweet playful senior husky who will happily keep your pets company if they come to my home for boarding/doggy daycare. Sorry, I am unable to host cats due to our husky’s small prey drive. Standard protocol is to keep our dogs separated in our home and muzzled while socializing during the first couple of days at minimum to ensure everyone’s safety :) if your dog has a muzzle, please bring provide it. If I am doing drop-ins or overnights, I will happily keep your pets in their usual routine while respecting you and your home. Your home will look just as you left it and your pets will be in great spirits.
