About: Rhinebeck local with a 30 minute lunch break. Available for overnight in-home and/or dog walking services. Experience with giving oral medication. Big dogs and puppies welcome! Kitties and small animals, too! Minimal experience with reptiles (only leopard geckos) but I can watch them with care instructions. Generally I work early morning to early afternoon. No earlier than 5:30 and no later than 6:00 p.m. Weekends included. My days off are usually Tuesday or Wednesday or Thursday. There are some exceptions as my schedule varies week to week. But I can and frequently do work around customers' schedules, especially with advanced notice! I am diligent in keeping an eye on animals in the home. Especially puppies/potty training animals. When we are out taking a walk (for dogs) I will cross to the other side of the street and not greet other dogs, even if yours is friendly. Better to be safe than sorry! Same goes for dog parks. We can go, but I will keep a close eye on any animals and leave if things get too hot.

About: Hello! My name is Kerin and I’m 30. My love for these 4, sometimes 3, legged k-9’s we call family! My love for them runs through my family’s blood as we have a dog rescue, Pooches Out Of Puerto Rico. As you can imagine I’ve worked with all sorts of dogs. Some totally goofy to some begin extremely aggressive due to fear or pain. You name it I’ve experienced it. There’s nothing I won’t do for these hairy family members. About: Hi! My name is Allie, I'm currently in a Master’s Program for speech language pathology through SUNY New Paltz. I am a full-time student looking for a part- time, flexible job. I have been dog sitting/walking since I was 14 years old for dogs of all different types of breeds, sizes and behaviors! My neighbors, family members, and friends have used my services to provide care of their fur babies while on vacation, a long weekend trip, or even during work hours! About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and took the responsibility of taking care of and training our family dogs. They all turned out great with my first dog becoming a therapy dog helping children. Can’t imagine a world without a dog by your side! I currently work in a school system so during holidays, school breaks, and the summer I’m the most free but can always help once I get out of school as well. Great backyard with a pup to play with. Lots of shade and fencing. Many toys and such to play with as well. Great spot for dogs to relax.

About: I have been around animals all my life. Born in the country, cows and horses are most common, but I’ve come to love having dogs, cats, and reptiles of my own! There has never been an animal I couldn’t warm up to, and I love getting to know every pets unique personality. I DO OWN PETS, I just am not offering boarding services or requesting sitting services so I would prefer not to share their details! I am always willing to move around my schedule to better fit my clients needs! I have a ride ai depend on for now while I’m learning to drive so I cannot be out too late unless I’m staying the night. I prefer to pet sit or walk pets at other homes, not my own, as I have a reactive dog with history of abuse, and she is not amicable with other pets.

About: Animals are the best friends in our lives and deserve attentive care and respect, as well as an active life of curiosity and steady love! I am available this summer pretty much all the time. Those days when I am not available will not be on my schedule thank you! At my house we have four acres to run around on and a long private road with very little traffic where we can explore together (with a leash). There is a lot of fresh air and fun natural smells coming up from the woods to investigate!

About: I have been growing up around and taking care of pets all of my life. I have taken care of puppies, middle-aged dogs, senior dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and pigs. I can give them medication and bring them into appointments. I love to with dogs! I have a backyard and other dogs for them to play with. In case an emergency, I live 15 to 20 minutes away from two different animal hospitals. Since I only work part-time job during the day, I love sitting outside in the sun, playing with the dogs and watching them run around and play with each other. I love meeting, new pets and getting to know them. I also love sitting inside and watching TV while I pet your pet. At my house we let the dogs out every 2 to 4 hours to go to the bathroom. They are mostly outside anyways. They go on a walk every day. I feed my pets twice a day. They get lots of love and cuddles. For my clients pets, I play with them All day and I do whatever they would specifically like me to do with their pet.

About: I genuinely love all animals! If I could have 10 dogs, I would. Over the last 15 years I’ve cared for family and friends pets whenever needed, welcoming them into my home or visiting theirs. I love small dogs, big dogs, high energy dogs or low. I can adapt to almost any pets needs, frequent walks, extra snuggles, administer medicines, providing treats, and extra attention. I can’t wait to snuggle and spoil your fur baby. I lost my greater swiss mountain dog in July of 2024, and quickly realized life without a dog wasn’t for me. I adopted a new pup in October. We are excited to welcome your pup into the mix! I’m a teacher with all summer off, so I have unlimited flexibility during the summer months (July and August). During the school year, I work 7am-3pm on weekdays. My yard is unfenced, but your pup will be offered frequent walks and potty breaks. My dog and I spend hours of time outside every day. We walk the trails in our neighborhood and often go to local parks to explore different places. I typically follow your every directive because all dogs needs are different. If you tell me your dog doesn’t enjoy the heat of the summer, we will be couch potatoes in the air conditioning. About: From the moment I was born I was around animals, wild and domestic. My first dog was a 110+ pound Chow/Shepherd mix, she was very protective and territorial and took it upon herself to protect me and my sibling from any bullies on our street, from then on I've had a deer head rescue chihuahua named Prue she was my best friend, followed me everywhere, two 110+ pound Native American Shepherds, three cats one old named Milo, a very hyper and playful kitty name Cleo, a sweet loving sensitive tuxedo cat named Marley, a Terra fish named Ruby, a beautiful tropical bird named AU, two Guinea pigs named Opie and Didley, three turtles, one red eared slider named Jack, two painted turtles a big one named Perry and a smaller one I found named Damien, a black rescue lab named Jack Jack with a injured ear and no tail, a grey cat named Tom Tom who followed my fiance home from a fire station, a little apple head chihuahua corgi mix named Willow who was found in the streets of New Orleans after a flood, I've been around disabled animals my whole life, a cat who's tail was injured and had to be removed, a roudy white poodle mix who was born with half a paw, I've gone to interactive zoos and played with the animals, every animal I meet instantly loves me as I approach them with a warm welcoming energy and show them that we are on the same level, yet I'm dominant in training scenarios. Across my street lives 3 dogs and a cat named jerry, sweet pups Pablo, Matilda and Bailey, Bailey is an old paranoid shitzu with a therapy jacket that makes her more docile, if you're not in the sun rubbing her belly she can't see clearly and assumes you're a threat, so I approach her with loving speech and body language, Matilda is a very emotional rescue who is older and very docile and sad until she met Pablo a 1 year old puppy crossbreed, he keeps her young and spry, he has beautiful white teeth and hair, I am very interested in the upkeep of your animal's physical, emotional, environmental and mental wellbeing. I will pamper your loved ones to the highest degree while also showing them how to act in a strangers house without being scared, homesick, nervous or rowdy. :) I've been around all types of animals caged, untrained, unspayed in heat animals who need extra care and attention, I am exploring animal behaviors, training and pet sitting animals of all walks of life, I am also attempting to train the neighborhood Squirrells and chipmunks to eat food out of my hands and avoid the road, I know bird calls and how to attract owls, hawks, butterflies and most social animals. When I was young I hand fed a wild doe and Bambi as we called him, a calm baby deer. My father lives in the Catskill mountains and since birth I've played with, caterpillars, ants, daddy long legs, peepers, frogs, toads, tadpoles, and threw back all the fish my dad caught. I have a photo of my younger self in preschool approaching a praying mantis that had got into the classroom, all the kids were screaming and I'm seen holding and playing with him until I brought him back outside. All the bugs I find in my house I trap and release back into the wild including ants, spiders, stink bugs, bees, lady bugs, inch worms and more. I feel that all living things deserve respect and empathy. I am very interested in the upkeep of your animal's physical, emotional, environmental and mental wellbeing. I will pamper your loved ones to the highest degree while also showing them how to act appropriately in a sitter's house without becoming territorial, aggressive, homesick, nervous or rowdy. I love all animals and understand that just because they can't communicate verbally, doesn't mean they can't communicate. I have a home with energy balancing Buddhist symbols (laughing Buddha, energy cleansing aromas and a clean peaceful home for your animal's stay. I will interact with them the entire time and make sure all their needs and wants are met. I love caring for living things whether it be a baby or an ant, a wolf or a worm 🤣 I will take care of them to the fullest of my capabilities and make them comfortable. I can even help train them to not get separation anxiety when you leave home and become independent individuals who can care for themselves.
