I have over five years of experience caring for animals - I was very active on Rover a few years ago, walking and pet sitting a few nights a week. They show me how to best care for them - with food, play, training, medications, travel, sleepless days and nights when they've been ill, and giving them all them comfort I can. I've volunteered at dog shelters, spent hours walking dogs in all kinds of weather, and offered comfort to friends who've had to say goodbye to their best fur friends. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule that allows me to give your pets plenty of attention - playing, feeding, and scratching behind the ears. I take my dog for swims in the river, off leash romps in the woods, and leashed walks around town. We also play fetch and tug-of-war in the house or on the deck. Our 8 year old pup doesn’t always get along with other dogs. While visiting our family in New York for Christmas - we needed to find someone just for Christmas Day (about 9 hours - not over night) since there were going to be other dogs at the house we were at. Even though Samantha and Michael have 2 dogs of their own, they assured us that the way their house is set up (inside & outside) the dogs wouldn’t see each other and it wouldn’t be a problem at all, plus they shared that they’ve had experience with one of their own pups in years past not getting along with other animals or people. They even had baby gates if they needed to use them. And they were right!!! Everything was fine - no issues at all!!! They truly went above & beyond for us and our pup and we truly consider them our Christmas Angels!!!
