I am a student studying environmental science.I grew up around dogs on our family farm up north and later in our lovely home in Alameda and I have been dog sitting and house sitting for friends my whole life. Most recently, I cared for a two-year-old mini Golden Doodle (while housesitting in Northern California) that unexpectedly developed an unfortunate "hot spot". Through diligent communication with her owners (who were vacationing in Europe), we coordinated how best to proceed. This included several visits to a vet, where she also, as it turned out, had double ear infections. Treatment protocol required both topical and oral medications twice daily. I recorded an audio of the summary diagnosis from the vet and shared this with her humans, as well as regular updates and photos of the healing progress. Simultaneously, I was asked to move her to a balanced raw diet (like that of my own dog), and which required more effort but that was entirely inline with what I'm already accustomed.

I have rescued many animals with health issues and have extensive experience caring for more challenging animals. I am very active and love having dogs joining the fun.
