“Jessica was amazing with my dog. He had a great time and was nice and worn out when he got home. She also sent me pictures and updates, which I greatly appreciated as I’m nervous when he’s with other people. 10/10 she’s so good with dogs.”

“If I could give Angela more stars, I would, because she definitely deserves them! Our boy, Donner aka Goose, fell in love with Angela almost immediately and she took such good care of him that I started to wonder if he would want to come home after his time with her. I'm so grateful for all the accommodations Angela made for us because we had so many unexpected things happen that would have made anyone anxious and stressed, but she gave us peace of mind by taking care of Donner and giving us one less thing to worry about. Truly a blessing to have found her and we will be rebooking in the future. Hands down the best out there!!! Thank you again, Angela!”

About: I've had pets of a wide variety since I was 5 (30 years now). I have done pet-sitting and walking for friends and family for the past 13 years. I do my best to treat each animal as if they were my own to ensure the safety, comfort, and happiness for all. I am recently retired with plenty of time to take care of all the furry friends. About: My first dog was a senior rescue terrified of humans and dogs, and my current dog is a hyper mega-loving Coonhound! You can say I've had very different experiences lol! I've had experience administering medication for my own dogs as well as others. I was able to crate train my then 9 year old dog! My 2 year old dog is responding well to training, and has never met a soul she didn't love. I'm a freelance photographer so my schedule is very flexible! I work from home mostly, but I also rent a studio in Savannah- so sometimes I'll pop in for a shoot! My projects usually vary from 1-3 gigs a month. Happy to give lots of cuddles and attention! My own dog whines when she's not given love 😂 I can also crate when needed or we can work together with my laptop! I love walks and we can play fetch in the backyard if needed! Also happy to do any basic chores needed like emptying your dishwasher or vacuuming!
About: I’ve helped raise and take care of dogs since I was 10 or so. We’ve had several litters of puppies that we had to raise and get rehomed as well as various animals to include cats, dogs, and smaller animals like guinea pigs and hamsters. Each animal has its own personality and that makes working with them so special. I have flexibility to stop in the middle of the day during the work week to check in on your pet and provide the care needed on a daily basis. I also have open availability on the weekends and evenings to check in as needed. I try to treat each animal how I would like my animals to be treated. They are alive and have personalities that should be tailored to the approach you give the pets. That’s my philosophy.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
