About: I’ve never met an animal I didn’t fall in love with! I would love to get to know your pet and treat them like my own while giving you that peace of mind while away. I’m a full time stay at home mom and have all the time and love to give to your babies! I am a stay at home mom looking for something more to fill the days while the kids are at school! Walking, and sitting for your pet seems like the perfect way to do that! We have a large fenced yard. We have dogs of our own that can be kept away from any pets if requested. Crates available as well.
About: I love dogs. I have been doing drop-ins and dog walking for two years. I got on Rover just recently. The time I spend on a drop-in or walk with your dog is 100% about them. Love is always a two-way street with dogs, and I enjoy bonding with them and caring for them. I work for myself so I have flexibility I just need a day's notice to set up a home visit. I enjoy walking and am walking everyday and would enjoy walking your dog. I currently do visits to the dogs place of residence and I accommodate whatever the particular dog is accustomed to in a loving way. It is very important to me that the dog feels comfortable where they're at as well as with me. This hasn't ever been an issue.
About: I’ve helped raise and take care of dogs since I was 10 or so. We’ve had several litters of puppies that we had to raise and get rehomed as well as various animals to include cats, dogs, and smaller animals like guinea pigs and hamsters. Each animal has its own personality and that makes working with them so special. I have flexibility to stop in the middle of the day during the work week to check in on your pet and provide the care needed on a daily basis. I also have open availability on the weekends and evenings to check in as needed. I try to treat each animal how I would like my animals to be treated. They are alive and have personalities that should be tailored to the approach you give the pets. That’s my philosophy.
“Reached out to Jacey for a last minute booking and she was very fast to respond and super accommodating! Thank you so much for walking Nala, feeding her, and helping turn a potentially stressful situation into a perfect solution.”

About: I currently have 2 dogs. Baxter (Siberian Husky) and Cowgirl (Pitbull/Boxer/A. bulldog mix). I as well have 2 cats. My sister-in-law is a vertechnisier, so if any complications arise, she’s the first person I would call about your pet if it’s not an emergency. (Otherwise I will take to vet immediately) Me and my husband have lots of experience with small animals and dogs. And we have rehabilitated a hurt baby field mouse that was a couple days old without his mom. My husband is really good at training dogs and has taught me a lot of information that I could share with your dog as well. I am available to take care of your furchildren during the day as I work nights and on my days off I will be able to take care of them both day and night! I will make sure your babies are well loved, taken care of, played with, walked and fed. And even get a good brushing if needed! On dog walks, all feces will be picked up during potty breaks as well so no mess is left outside. If taking care of cats, they will also get the same loving treatment + litter box scooped after each visit.

About: I grew up around pets my as a child and have owned dogs for 32 years of all sizes and types. I have always been the go to person for everyone to care for their pets and i love it. I have no problem feeding, bathing, training or walking your pet as if it were my own. Our pets are our children as well and we need to care for them the best way we can. I am self employed and work my own schedule so I can care for your pet Friday -Tuesdays 9am-3pm. Different days or later hours can be arranged with at least a weeks notice. I have a fenced yard and can Kennel the dog if needed but for the most part I prefer for them to get a feel of my home and my rules.
About: Raised by dog breeders, I learned to train dogs in 4H and won many ribbons with my childhood dog BJ. My husband and I recently started breeding Aussie Doodles, and I am excited to open my home to more doggies! Your dogs will always have friendly playmates in both Ash, our young aussie doodle, and Lydia, our 4-year-old daughter and breeder-in-training. We are all very excited to meet you! We already train our young Aussie Doodle, Ash, and have built our home around training and breeding her. I quit my previous full-time job as a day-care worker to do this full-time, so I will be around to ensure a happy enviornment. We are available to take care of your little one all days of the week, and offer over-night and long term care. We have a dedicated zone in our home (living room and kitchen area) where the dogs play with me and our kids (though all our infant son can do is be licked, but he's great at it). Your dogs have free range into our fenced backyard (8,712 sqft), where we often set up a pool for the dogs and toddler. Our Aussie Doodle is a gentle and timid dog, and is much more likely to hide than to be aggressive. We don't accept aggressive dogs.

About: My first child was my furry boy, Lennon. I had him since he was a pup in Germany and we were together for 14 years. Unfortunately, his time has come to an end for quite some time. I miss having him, but we aren’t ready to replace him, so I’m offering a loving home, dog sitter, or walker to your furry child. I work part time hours, but I also have my little sister (23 yrs old), Louisa, and my husband (who loves all the pets) that help me. When you book with us, you book the whole family. Between all three of us, your furry baby will be alone, tops 2 hrs if needed for appointments. As you can see on our profile pics, this is definitely a family business. We work with you in what you need to ensure you have continuous updates, lots of attention to your furry family, and have been very flexible if the schedule changes. I do have a fenced in yard, not the biggest, so most of their exercise would be out on walks. I do have 2 small children ages of 5 & 7 yrs. old. They are very gentle with animals and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
About: Dogs love me because I match their energy! Whether your pup is all about zoomies or just wants cuddles and chill time, I shape every day around what makes them happiest. I’m big on outdoor play, mental stimulation, and keeping their tails wagging. Every dog gets personalized care and a home environment full of comfort and fun. As a soldier, I live by routine — and that makes pet care a natural fit for my everyday life. I start the day early with walks and exercise, and I’m home regularly throughout the day for feeding, playtime, and check-ins. Evenings are dedicated to relaxation, more outdoor time, and bonding. Your dog will always have consistency, attention, and a predictable schedule — just the way they like it. When pets stay in my home, they’re treated like family. I keep a structured routine with regular potty breaks, feeding times, exercise, and lots of attention. I always supervise outdoor time and make sure pets have a clean, comfortable space to relax. Whether we’re playing, training, or chilling on the couch, your dog will never feel alone or bored.

From playful puppies and curious kittens to senior pets who need extra patience and care, I’ve truly seen it all. Animals have always been a huge part of my life—I don’t just care for them, I genuinely love them like family. I’m someone who has some time on her hands to help out those who don’t! :) my schedule is flexible and can fit your needs. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
