“I don’t know if you’re able to review a person more than once. But I had Andrhu coming for drop in visits during my long work hours because he lives just a few blocks away. I noticed my cat who is 15 took to him right away and he paid attention to my very *particular* requests about her care. Not only did I have a significant increase in my cats level of calmness - but literally at the LAST minute I saw that the sitter I use when I’m out of town had left my cat alone for almost 24 hours. Then pushed he out of bed when the cat tried to ask for minimal attention. To say I was crushed was an understatement. I was in complete tears. I have a lot going on and am kind of a single pet parent until my husband can join me in the USA. Andrhu AGAIN was a god send. One one days notice I let the other sitter go home for personal reasons and Andrhu agreed to stay - he was with her most all day every day. I came home today, my cat happy, playing with a ball at 15 years old. And now I am comfortable purchasing a kitten to make her (and I) even happier. Knowing I have Andrhu close by - he’s SO flexible. He’s honest and communicates expectations clearly which I appreciate and respect. The amount of guilt I carry about leaving her is at a zero. Down from about 200 on my last vacation. Anna was a phenomenal pet sitter, and we will not hesitate to hire her again! First, and most importantly, our animals were well cared for. We appreciated the updates, and photos and videos Anna sent. All of their daily tasks were taken care of and we came home to clean pens and litter boxes. She also treated our house with such respect. It was so nice to get home and have happy animals and a clean house.
Leann did a wonderful job looking after my pets a my house for a week. Both of my dogs and one of my cats took to her right away when she came by the house to meet everyone. It reassured me to see how well they liked her on first meeting. We were out of the country so had minimal phone access, but Leann sent updates and photos so we could feel reassured that all was well. We were delayed getting back home and Leann said she would have come back to the house if she had known. The pets were fine, and only home alone a bit longer than we expected, I thought it was very sweet of her though. My mom, who recently passed, was my pet sitter and Leann is the first sitter I have used through Rover - I would definitely use Leann again for pet sitting and I highly recommend her to others. Gisella was an outstanding pet sitter. She went above and beyond to care for my 11 years old golden retriever, Samhara. The two bonded instantly. She played with Sam, walked her, fed her and when time came for Gisella to leave, Sam was glued to her; wouldn’t want her to go. I can’t describe the feeling of knowing that your dog is happy and safe while you travel. I highly recommend Gisella!
Ashlyn was very sweet and responsible with my pup. I read the bad review about Ashlyn and decided to give her a try as I know miscommunications can happen, Ashlyn sent me updates and kept me informed on everything my pup was doing. I felt very comfortable with Ashlyn and will book her again. She also took great care of my home, asked to water my plants, refilled my water filter and even did my dishes lol.
We so appreciated Quessandra’s help with our 6 month old puppy during our travels. He’s quite energetic as a puppy and she took good care of him - and even crafted a hand crocheted chew toy and blanket for him during her stay! Bentley was not used to us leaving him and demonstrated some separation anxiety - whining at night. She helped calm him down despite her own sleep deprivation.
