“My dog had such a great stay! The sitter was warm, communicative, and clearly cared a lot. It’s a welcoming family setting that feels just like home. Definitely recommend and would book again!”

“Brittany is an exceptional caregiver! She looked after my pup, Paco, for five days, and I couldn't be happier with the service. She administered his medication perfectly and took amazing care of him. Also gave me updates everyday and I highly recommend Brittany to anyone needing a reliable and loving pet sitter!”

“She took great care of my two dogs for 8 days. Sent multiple photos daily, and my dogs were happy and well cared for. She even cleaned out my rather grody dog food bowls. Will definitely be using her services again!”

About: I have had years of experience dog sitting for my parents and family! I unfortunately work too much to provide full time love to a fur baby but here to help when available! I currently work full time but I am available for walks or check ups most days after 7pm and most weekends for boarding, walks or any check ups! I am in a popular growing neighborhood in midland with a large house. No kids and a fenced yard with a walking park located right behind me.
About: Animals have always been a part of my life, and caring for them is something I truly enjoy. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust. As a pet owner myself, I know that our pets are family, and I will care for yours with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. My goal is to help you feel confident and at ease while you’re away, knowing your pet is in caring and capable hands. Currently, I am very open. I only work evenings for a few hours. I am very flexible to work with you and your pets on the care that you need for them.. I am very flexible and understanding to do my best to meet you where you need. Before you leave your pet with me I will make sure that we are very clear on the expectations. The standards and the routines that are needed.
“From start to finish, Allyzandria exceeded all expectations. This was my first time using Rover and boarding my dog, Milo, so I was understandably a bit nervous. She went out of her way to ease those concerns by setting up a meet-and-greet beforehand to help Milo get comfortable with her and her pups. Throughout the stay, she kept me updated daily with photos and videos, which gave me great peace of mind. When my return flight was delayed, she was incredibly flexible and accommodating with a later pickup. Overall, Allyzandria was fantastic! Milo had an amazing time, and I’ll definitely be booking with her again in the future.”

About: I combine reliable care with a deep understanding of pets at every life stage. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to making each animal feel safe, understood, and genuinely loved while their people are away. Experienced with young pets — I’m comfortable with puppies who need extra structure, gentle guidance, and consistency. I can help reinforce basic manners, support early socialization, and keep them on a healthy routine. Compassionate senior care — Older pets often need slower walks, medication reminders, mobility support, or simply someone who understands their pace. I’m attentive to subtle changes in behavior and make sure they feel comfortable and respected. Behavior‑aware approach — I pay close attention to body language and energy levels, which helps me tailor each visit to what your pet actually needs — whether that’s playtime, quiet companionship, or a calming presence. Reliable communication — You’ll always get updates, photos, and honest check‑ins so you feel connected and confident while you’re away. Genuine connection — I treat every pet like an individual, not a checklist. Building trust is my priority, and I take the time to learn their quirks, routines, and what makes their tail wag. Pet care is woven into my everyday schedule, so I’m always able to give animals consistent attention and structure. I plan my days around the pets I’m responsible for, making sure they get the right balance of exercise, play, feeding, and companionship. Daily rhythm: Morning check‑ins and walks — I start my day early, which makes morning potty breaks, walks, and feedings easy to accommodate. Midday visits — I keep my afternoons flexible so I can fit in drop‑ins, enrichment time, or longer walks for high‑energy pets. Evening care — I wrap up the day with dinner visits, medication reminders if needed, and calm wind‑down time. Overnights — When I’m staying with a pet, I adjust my schedule so they get a full, stable routine from morning to night. Pet‑safe environment — My space is set up to be safe and comfortable, with no hazards and plenty of room to relax or play. Supervised interactions — If there are other pets in the home, introductions are slow, controlled, and always supervised. Comfortable routines — Pets get regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and quiet time so they feel settled and secure. Clean, cozy spaces — I provide clean bedding, fresh water, and a calm environment where pets can rest without stress. Personalized attention — I tailor care to each pet’s needs, whether they’re energetic, shy, senior, or somewhere in between.
About: I've taken care of dogs for 30 years. I have also rescued many dogs and have a few pups of my own. I understand when needing a sitter for your pets, because I and very picky when it comes to who watches my pets, and I know we just want someone to treat them like our own. I work a full time job from 8-5, but I go home for lunch to check on my own pets, so any additional pets would not be a problem. I am free all weekend as well. I have a big fenced yard and I have room inside my home to crate your dogs if needed or at bedtime. I have little fur babies that would keep your babies company as well. Your fur babies will always be safe and well cared for.

Alina was amazing!! She was able to take care of my Shadow at the last minute, which was SO helpful. She provided daily updates and pictures, and was available to answer any questions and concerns I had. Would definitely recommend her services! I'll be booking with her again the next time I'm out of town!
This is the second time Claudia has watch my pups. When we are in town it’s great when they can see familiar faces. Claudia and her family are amazing with the dogs. This time there was so many issues and last minute changes on my end. Claudia was kind and understanding. Quick to accommodate. Highly recommended.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
