“Cesira took great care of my dogs and sent updates and photos to let me know they were doing well. She made sure they were comfortable and relaxed during their stay and they seemed perfectly content to stay longer when I picked them up. I highly recommend Cesira and I would happily board with her again.”

About: With over a decade of personal experience from being raised with dogs my whole life from pit bulls, labradors, poodles, chihuahuas, and rottweilers. I bring deep understanding and genuine love to every pet I watch. I know how to read their needs, handle different personalities, and provide a safe, comforting environment. Making me a trusted choice for pet owners who want the best for their furry babies! I’m currently in college so I have a lot of free time because of summer break. When classes are back I’m online so I’m able to have a flexible schedule and work from home! I keep the space safe and clean, follow all care instructions, and make sure pets feel comfortable and loved. My backyard is fully fenced with no other animals, so pets have a secure space to play and relax.
“From start to finish, Allyzandria exceeded all expectations. This was my first time using Rover and boarding my dog, Milo, so I was understandably a bit nervous. She went out of her way to ease those concerns by setting up a meet-and-greet beforehand to help Milo get comfortable with her and her pups. Throughout the stay, she kept me updated daily with photos and videos, which gave me great peace of mind. When my return flight was delayed, she was incredibly flexible and accommodating with a later pickup. Overall, Allyzandria was fantastic! Milo had an amazing time, and I’ll definitely be booking with her again in the future.”

About: I've been caring for dogs for over five years, and it's been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I've had the opportunity to care for everyone from playful puppies to older dogs who require more attention and special care. I'm in charge of providing them with a safe, calm, and loving environment. During their stay, they receive daily walks, playtime, regular feedings, and, above all, lots of affection. I also maintain constant contact with the owners, sending photos, videos, and updates so they feel at ease knowing their furry friend is in good hands. I've cared for small breeds like Pomeranians, Chihuahuas, and Shih Tzus, to medium and large breeds like Labradors, Border Collies, and Huskies. I adapt to each dog's needs: some are super active and need to play, while others just want to rest and be accompanied. For me, it's not just about caring for them, but about making them feel at home. Here, each dog arrives as a guest and leaves as part of the family! 🐶💖 I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends and weekdays after 2 p.m. I have a fenced yard and a friendly dog park to keep your furry friend company. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I'll be on top of every detail at all times.

My dog had alot of fun with her and I can tell she was happy and relaxed while staying with Maria. I was able to extend her stay with no problems. Also, the location was easy to find so I am glad I had no problems there.”

Alina was amazing!! She was able to take care of my Shadow at the last minute, which was SO helpful. She provided daily updates and pictures, and was available to answer any questions and concerns I had. Would definitely recommend her services! I'll be booking with her again the next time I'm out of town!
This is the second time Claudia has watch my pups. When we are in town it’s great when they can see familiar faces. Claudia and her family are amazing with the dogs. This time there was so many issues and last minute changes on my end. Claudia was kind and understanding. Quick to accommodate. Highly recommended.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
