About: Our family loves animals. It’s evident when you drive up to our house and see the goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, cats and dogs. We have lots of experience with lots of animals, at all stages of life and with administering medications. Now that the kids are all in school. I have extra time to spend with my 4 legged babies and yours. We enjoy hiking, long and/or short walks around Canandaigua. I am a responsible and respectful professional. About: I have always had a love for animals since I can remember. I rescued and rehabbed two feral kittens that were living under a dumpster to my own rescued pup. I have had guest dogs in my home from tiny to extra large. They always received the same care as my own dog from sleeping in bed with us to plenty of walks and outdoor time. They will be in great, responsible hands with me! I currently have my own business so I make my schedule. I can be flexible with days of the week and times even with last minute notice. I always ensure the pets are secure via leash before leaving the home to go for walks or when they are "in" for the day (crates, baby gate - no matter their set up). I also gather all the information about the animal - any reactions to certain situations, recall cues etc prior to visits.
About: I have been caring for dogs since I was 13. I walk mine and my sisters dogs frequently. I have done overnights with dogs. I let dogs out during the day and feed them for meal times. I am a nursing student at Hartwick college and can easily work about my schedule to take care of pets. I am unavailable on Thursdays, but every other day works depending on my schedule. About: Growing up I’ve always had a pet, whether it was a dog, cat, bearded dragon, hamster, bunny, horses, chickens, etc. The past experience I have is from ages 6 weeks-18years old. I’m up for any task and have no trouble walking dogs who pull. I use a harness for one of my dogs and he is always comfortable walking with me. I currently work full-time but have a flexible schedule. I have three dogs and 2 cats of my own but have help with them. Can always adjust schedule as needed. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 11 years old. It started with my family dog, along with family members dogs. I would walk them and feed them. I then got my own dogs that I do all care for. I started fostering with a local rescue in 2022. I’ve cared for dogs with medical issues. walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
