“Janis and Devin were amazing with my dog Jellybean. She still has so much puppy energy in her and is a handful. They sent pictures of Jelly looking very happy and comfortable in their home. Jelly had a great time at her overnight with Janis and we can’t wait to bring her back. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!”

“Mary was very responsive and accommodating. We've used Rover a bunch and this stay was as seamless as any others. Lots of updates and it looked like they really took care of her. Would certainly re-book.”

“Shawne and her husband were very welcoming and ready for the dogs upon arrival. They were receptive to the dogs' routines and ready with kennels. They have outdoor space and live in a nice neighborhood. Shawne was really great at keeping us updated with texts and pictures. The boys were happy and had so much fun that they were exhausted when we got them back from all of the fun activities.”

About: I've grown up living with dogs and have been the primary trainer for my family's dogs. I do pretty well working with new pets and can handle full size dogs. I'm an engineer who gets home from work around 4 or 5PM. My weekends are empty 3/4 weekends a month. I can do overnights on Sunday and during the work week if your dog is used to being alone 9-5. I have a small yard, and live next to the beach. I typically walk my dog to the beach 2-3 times a day on the weekend and she swims often. I usually use a harness to walk dogs, never leave them unattended outside since I have no fence. Make sure they have food twice a day and water always full.
“Lilliana was the best! Even with a short notice she was able to help and watch our Callie! She sent update photos which were amazing!! Overall will definitely be bringing my dog back!”

“Meredith was just amazing. She handled my crazy dog along with her family and dogs like a champ. My pup seemed to greatly enjoy herself. Along with a happy pup, my dog came home with a few more manners. We will use her in the future for sure. 😊”

“We are so happy we found Giannina! She took such good care of our baby. She sent us photos and updates while we were on vacation, which made us feel so much better, since this was the first time we've left our little one in someone else's care. We will definitely use her service in the future. Giannina comes highly recommended.”

“Angelique was wonderful to our little meatloaf while we were out of the country. She sent us many photos and kept us updated on anything new. We will definitely go with Angelique if we need a dog sitter in the future.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, and dogs have always had a special place in my heart! Growing up, my family had dogs, horses, goats, chickens, cats, birds, fish—you name it. Caring for animals has always been second nature to me, and over the years I’ve become the go-to pet sitter for friends and family whenever they go on vacation. I understand that every dog is unique, whether they’re full of energy and love long walks or prefer cuddles and a relaxing day at home. My goal is to make your pup feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away by keeping their routine as normal as possible. You can expect plenty of playtime, belly rubs, potty breaks, and lots of love and attention. I treat every dog as if they were my own and will keep you updated so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind, knowing your furry family member is in good hands! I currently work full-time from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and have an hour commute each way. Because of this, I offer boarding for pets who are comfortable being alone for an extended period during the workday. I am fully available on weekends and can dedicate plenty of time to your furry family members! I also offer evening dog walks and drop-in visits after work. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about my schedule or your pet’s specific needs—I’m happy to accommodate whenever possible! Your pet will be welcomed into a safe, loving home away from home! I live in a top-floor apartment with carpeted stairs and plenty of windows, perfect for curious pups who love to look outside and watch the world go by. There’s also a private dog park directly across the street from my complex, giving your dog a great place to play and burn off some energy. My neighborhood is quiet and pet-friendly, making it ideal for long walks and plenty of sniffing adventures. I make sure every pet gets lots of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and, of course, treats (with owner approval!). My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away, treating them like part of my own family.
“Ms. Bernice was available on short notice to sit for me. She has plenty of room for active dogs to play, sent great photos during his stay, and Cheddar was also a great playmate so my dog had plenty of fun! We will definitely be seeing her and Cheddar again soon! Thank you!?”

“Thank you Olivia for taking such good care of Rosey Girl. This was our first overnight away and we were very nervous dog parents. Olivia was very kind and reassured us while we were away by sending updates and photos. We will be repeat customers.”

“Najah was so great with Kash. So much so, he didn't act like he wanted to leave her. She kept me updated on his behavior and how ge was doing the entire time with texts & photos. I will definitely be boarding with Najah again.”

“My little Delilah felt right at home when we had our Meet and Greet. I had no concerns about leaving her with Madelyn after that. She was still excited to see me when I picked her up, but not so excited that I worried she wanted to leave and had a bad time. I have no doubts that Delilah was well cared for while I was away!!”

Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
