About: I’ve owned dogs all my life. I believe they are more than pets, they are trusted friends. I will treat your dog as if he/she were my own. I work primarily from home. I’m away only 10-15 hours per week. I’m very flexible and willing to work with you for the love and benefit of your pet. I live in my new built home. There is a lot of area outside where we can walk, but I’ll never leave a dog unattended. I have my kids (aged 16 & 18) part time. They may be around. My kids love dogs.

About: Now offering "budget" visits! Sometimes your cat just needs a litter box refresh and food/water check or medication and doesn't want to interact with a sitter. I get it--one of my cats is like that! Depending on your location, I'm happy to offer a "budget" visit where the necessities will be addressed but in a shorter timeframe. 10 min for $10 or $12 for 15 min visit. Standard cat drop-in visits are $20 for 30 min. To book a budget visit, please book visits as a "regular" visit, and depending on your location and needs, I will approve and adjust your rate accordingly. About Me I've grown up with cats and currently have two senior cats, and our second puppy since December 2023. Rover is my way of helping my kids with an entrepreneurial adventure, especially during the summer. I do some visits solo (or if you request), otherwise I usually have kids with me. They are learning a lot about customer service, pet care, and money in the process. C A T S : Able to host overnight at $35/night. I can give medications including insulin shots, brush teeth, or brush your cat daily or as needed. Litter boxes, beds/perches and water provided. Please provide food your cat thrives on best for their stay. For drop-in cat visits, I will feed whatever food you provide for your cat--wet, raw, kibble, and/or exact portions as needed. Litter boxes will get a thorough sift, and water will be changed. I will do a quick barf/hairball scan of pet zone as so you don't have to come home to unexpected messes. D O G S: Walks can be 30, 45, or 60 minute routes. D R O P - I N V I S I T S : I will let your dog get some fresh air, food, and playtime and petted/brushed. I will also check area dog is staying while you are out for any mischief and messes and clean up as necessary. B O A R D I N G : We are not boarding dogs at this time unless your dog is on our "VIP" dog list. :-) We are able to do drop-in visits and dog walks year round and potentially board based on meet and greet assessment. We can board cats year round. My kids have learned to respect animals and see them as individuals with their own preferences and personalities. For the safety of all in my keep, I only board/daycare animals from one household at a time. All guests are kept in a separate area of the house from my pets.

“I’ve been having my puppy stay with Daniel and his wife periodically throughout the week for the past month. First and foremost, Daniel is very flexible and understanding of my sometimes unpredictable work schedule. Working in the health field, it’s comforting knowing that Hugo will be taken care of even if my days are longer than expected. There was one instance where I ended up working well into the night and Daniel was able to keep Hugo overnight. A huge help! Second, I enjoy the fact that Hugo is able to play with other dogs and interact with their dog parents throughout the day. I think this gives him good interaction and good socialization to help him as he gets older. Finally, Hugo is always so excited to see Daniel in the morning! This makes me feel like Hugo is having fun and is getting good attention while at doggy daycare. It’s very comforting knowing that Hugo has such a good place to spend his days when I’m at work.”

I recently moved to Grand Rapids away from my families 100 lb Husky Lab mix and I miss taking care of pups and having their companionship. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities! I always make sure every dog feels comfortable, loved, and well cared for. I ONLY TAKE ONE DOG AT A TIME (unless from the same household), so your dog will get my undivided attention.* My apartment complex is very dog friendly and has a dog park for playing as well as a lot of space for walks. I would love to pamper your fur baby! I work for myself from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I love having dogs around while I work and can easily adjust my routine for walks, playtime, or extra attention whenever it’s needed. Can be very flexible to your needs as I make my own schedule. I live in a second-story, very dog-friendly apartment with plenty of space and a big dog park for walks and playtime. About: Within the last few years, I've had plenty of experience with overnight dogsitting for family and friends. I've also been taking care of my family dogs since I was 11 years old. From feeding, to bathing, to running around the backyard, I've enjoyed every minute of watching my rescue dogs grow. I love all animals in general, and being a graduate student has prevented me from spending as much time with my pets as I would like to. As a sitter, I'd love nothing more than to give your dog the care and attention it needs! I have recently graduated from my Master’s program although will not be starting my full-time job until the new year. Until then, I am available most days during the week, and would love to devote this time to helping others take care of their pets. I am open to any kind of schedule, long-term or short-term. About: We have been with dogs and other animals our whole life and love dogs. Our Shiba Inu, Sami, is our fourth baby. Your pet will get the attention and safety he/she needs and will be treated no different than our own. Our work hours are flexible and we prioritize our walks with our pet so it will be the same as others. Sami gets 2 walks and 3-4 bathroom breaks per day We treat your home with the same care and respect as ours and will follow your instructions very closely as instructed.
