“Velma did great for a pop in visit for a fur babies! She let them out for potty and snuggled with them to make sure they didn't get lonely when we were out for the night!”

About: I have been pet-sitting since I was in early high school and I was beyond thrilled every time my friends, neighbors, or family would entrust me with caring for their furry family member. As a lifetime dog owner and pet lover, I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you know will take good care of them. With my lifetime of experience, ranging from puppies to elderly dogs, I can guarantee that your dog will be cared for with the love and diligence they deserve! I'm currently a graduate student working in my summer internship. I have a lot of availability Wednesdays-Sunday but am working on Mondays and Tuesdays. On the days I am available, I am dedicated to giving your pet the highest quality of care. When at your home, I will adhere to all of your instructions and the needs of your pet. I know how important routine can be for a pet, so I will follow that routine to ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable while they have a stranger visiting their home. Whatever your pets needs are, I will fulfill them!

About: I have cared for a myriad of animals, both personal and family and friends pets, since I was 7 (including hamsters, rabbits, dogs, cats, fish, and everything in between) I am a previous dog trainer turned SAHM who is looking to use my love of animals and skills to help some busy pet families while keeping up with todays ever rising cost of living. I have two medium energy, big, dogs personally, but have been around and cared for every size and energy level. I am now a fully stay at home momma so I’m flexible depending on what you are looking for for your furry friend. Any day or time (within reason). I’m home a majority of the time with the occasional errand or other outing so pets get to hang out with me and my family a majority of their time in my care. A majority of the time your pup will have full access to our fenced property and our house with us just like our personal pups do. There are occasions when they may be kenneled or separated when I care for our rabbitry or put my toddler to bed, etc. I will keep my pups and your pups separate upon request as a safety measure where animals can be seemingly unpredictable. If you are comfortable and would like them to have buddies to play with and a pack to enjoy then my two dogs are happy to oblige. My personal dogs are crated at night and works best to keep dogs overnight only if they are crate trained as well or at the least can be okay with sleeping on their own. We have a baby boy who loves animals but is also learning to be very respectful of them so pups that are comfortable around kiddos is a must.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs from less than a year old to 15 years old! Family and friends rely on my to spend time with their pets and care for them frequently I love spending time with pets when I am not teaching and spending time with kids! About: I've taken care of dogs and cats, including my own, for as long as I can remember. I have trained my pets as well as other's in basic obedience. I like to study dog psychology and I have a bachelor's degree in psychology. I've taken care of all kinds of dogs from tiny-huge and fearful-calm temperaments. My favorite breeds to care for are large breeds, most specifically breeds like pitties, rotties, and dobermans, but I love all dog breeds too and love how every dog has their own unique personality. I've also cared for cats doing volunteer work and have 2 of my own. I'm currently available anytime of the week all year besides the few times per year that I travel. I am working to potentially have a career with dogs. For care in the client's home, I will do whatever is instructed to me to be done for the pet. I am good at reading dog body language and understanding their needs. I've cared for fearful/avoidant dogs and hyper/clingy dogs alike. I am not able to provide care in my own home since I live with family and own 2 rescue cats.

“Kelsey was responsive and an excellent contact to use. She was able to walk my dog and took before and after photos and created a comfort in me knowing my pup was in good hands and well cared for.”

“Renee has been very quick to respond, even at a last minute change she has been able to help me out with my pups. Great updates and even went beyond and cleaned my pups up with the TP in my hotel room. ( not something to take lightly coming from a nurse!) absolutely gonna be sad when I leave the area that I won’t have a great dog Walker near me!”

About: I have loved dogs of all sizes my entire life but usually I say the bigger the dog the better! I have worked in a wide variety of animal care facilities including a doggy daycare, animal shelter and most recently a vet clinic working as a vet assistant. The older animals and the ones that may have some extra special needs have a special place in my heart! I am currently working full time but I usually have three days off a week and am available on Sundays and varying days during the week. I am also available in the afternoons. My family currently has three dogs at home one nine year old senior dog and two other dogs under the age of 3. All are larger more energetic dogs.

About: Dogs are more important to me than any human ever could be. My mom had to order books specifically about dogs for me to pass elementary school. I understand all dogs have their own unique personality just like humans would. I am the go to person to babysit or walk my friends, family and neighbors dogs. I will be moving over to Spokane Valley in May and I work from home Monday through Friday and have the ability to go on walks during the day. I have a fenced yard with 2 dog friendly dogs that will love to keep your baby comfortable. We have a dog door to allow your dog to pee as needed between walks.

I have a lot of free time and am excited to work with animals. I like to make sure they get plenty of time playing whether that’s a walk or just playing fetch or running around with them for a bit.

While I no longer offer boarding, I’m fully dedicated to providing reliable and caring walking and drop-in services to keep your pets safe, entertained, and well-exercised. If your dog has specific needs, such as preferred walking routes, exercise requirements, or dietary concerns, please let me know! I’m here to ensure every visit is tailored to your pup’s unique personality and needs. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide walks and drop-in visits throughout the day. About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, chickens, horses etc since I was 13 years old. I began pet sitting for a neighbor, and word spread around the neighborhood to the point where I had multiple clients a week from word of mouth! Animals are my favorite gift from God, and they know that I love them so they trust me as well! I also have experience working with animals of all ages with various medical conditions, injuries, behaviors, etc. I’m currently a part-time college student with a part-time job. However, I am flexible at this time since I’m doing online school. I would be available most weekends at most times and any time after 2pm Mon-Thursday. Available all day on Fridays! When offering walks and check-ins for cats and dogs, I focus on being the safe person for pets while following owners’ instructions closely. I make sure to monitor their behavior and mood, as well as clean them up and make them as comfortable as possible. For walks, I make sure to stay alert and keep dogs on leashes/harnesses as needed.

“I hired Kathlyn to walk my dog because I have been ill and unable to do that myself. She was just GREAT with Allie. She is a very experienced trainer and Allie took to Kathlyn immediately as did I. She is a very friendly person and made me feel at ease about letting my dog go for a walk with someone I didn't know. And with all of her experience, I knew she would be able to handle any situation that might arise. If and when I ever need help again, Kathlyn will be my first choice and I highly recommend her to anyone who needs a dog walker.”
