I love animals because of how they are always carefree and happy — attributes I think we humans need to embody more in our lives. Dogs (and pets in general) do so much for humans — cheering us up when we're down, encouraging us to exercise, helping us make new friends — and I would like to return the favor by helping provide them with quality care! About Me: I am originally from Bellevue, WA and married to my high school sweetheart. I currently work in healthcare but used to volunteer at Seattle Humane (animal shelter). My husband and I recently bought our home and this home has a fenced yard. We do not have any dogs of our own but are happy to host your dog when you are away. My work schedule is busy but sporadic, meaning that I often have weekdays off. My husband works in tech and has flexibility with when he needs to be in the office. Because I cannot guarantee that someone will be home at all times, I only accept dogs who are crate trained. Due to space constraints, we only accept small dogs. We may consider a lazy medium dog (under 30 pounds). One major benefit of staying with us is that we have no other dogs in the home and will not board dogs from multiple families at once. Therefore, if you have a dog who is shy, we would be a good fit for you.

About: My friends and family have always relied on me to take care of their pets. Feed/bathe/ go for walks. I have been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 14 years old. If you have special requests please let me know in advance as I want your pet to have the best care there is! I am available for onboarding on Sundays (anytime). Weekdays onboarding availability: Monday, Wednesdays and Thursdays. My schedule is pretty flexible at this time! I do wake up super early in the mornings, if this works for you to onboard that'll be great! I typically take care of your pups at my place. I am located in Uptown Charlotte. I am also open to take care of them at your own home.

“Genuinely was and is the best babysitter for my cat I ever have had. We spent hours on a road trip trying to find the perfect person for him, and Daiana took on the challenge for my special needs fur baby. Made him feel safe, loved, and cared for as if he was her own. She’s very thorough on making sure he had all his needs met, asked questions about his personality, routine, and general nuts & bolts about him. Updated us constantly and routinely about how his stay was doing and how his reaction was to the new environment. What my husband and I appreciate the most about her was the fact she had him relaxed and calm and took her time with him. Letting him come out on his own and being gentle with him made my heart swell with joy. And hearing he cuddled her, gave her lots of love, was such a lovely thing for us to hear. She definitely has the magic touch with our fur babies. I would recommend her 100% to watch your family member in her care and watch. I’m definitely going to rebook her as my permanent babysitter for Sero. ❤️”

About: I previously had my own dog but had to give him to my sister when I moved cross-country. I love pets so in addition to my own dog, I've dog sat part-time for my network of friends, from small to large dogs. I feed and take the dogs out for walks several times a day when owners are out of town for weekends. I like taking dogs out to local parks if there's one nearby. I would love to get to know your dog and take them on long walks! I'm available for daily weekday walks. I work from home so I'm also available to come stay at your home to dog sit if needed and stay with them for the majority of the time. I am comfortable with putting dogs in crates or sleeping with the dog depending on what is normal for them. I know how to use a harness. I usually plan to take dogs on walks several times a day.

About: Hi! I’m a longtime cat lover with years of experience caring for kitties of all kinds — shy, playful, senior, and everything in between. I’m now looking to grow my experience with dogs. I treat every pet like my own and always aim to create a calm, loving environment. I work remote most of the week but do have to go into the office on occasion. I’m happy to switch days around if it works better for your schedule! Cats: I have a cat tower from my previous cat along with a bunch of toys for them to play with. We also have a litter box if needed. SO many windows for bird watching in the house if you choose to board with us. Super quiet neighborhood as well. Dogs: I live 2 mins from a fenced dog park! which makes it easy for us to get outside and go for a walk! Plenty of pets in the neighborhood as well for some socializing.

She was with Debra for 5 days while we were out of town and Debra followed all our detailed notes and sent us regular updates throughout the day. We could see that Hazel was having a great time, getting lots of attention, playing with toys, watching the world from the huge window Debra has. She came back totally herself, with no signs of the stress which we have noticed with some other sitters.
