About: My first job was being my neighborhood's dog walker at age 12, and I've been an animal lover my whole life! I have personal experience caring for elderly animals, as my own family dog has specialized health needs that need special attention and care. I am a graduate student with a fairly flexible schedule, reliable and attentive to detail. I look forward to giving you peace of mind while being away, and helping your pet have a relaxing time! I am currently a student and hold an internship position that takes up a portion of my week. I have flexible availability Thursday-Sunday, not including some upcoming weekend trips of my own. If care is needed during other parts of the week, I am typically available anytime after 3 pm, I would just need some time in advance to see what my schedule is during that time. When looking after other fur babies, I treat them how I would want someone treating my own. I prefer asking extensive questions to make sure I can optimize care for your pet and lessen any anxiety.

About: As a young kid, my family bred Saint Bernards. By all means, I am from a "dog family." I grew up walking, feeding, cleaning stalls, etc. dogs much larger than me. Eventually and gradually we would adopt several mixed-breed dogs and other strays who we loved just as much as our Saints. On top of this, however, I was also proud to be responsible for a beautiful, sassy cat, from a younger kitty to her golden years. Moreover, some friends and I spent time trapping feral cats in West Central Spokane, specifically around where we lived and worked, then taking them to PetSavers for spay/neutering, and working to rehome them. I enjoy "working" with all kinds of dogs and cats. This includes seniors, those with health conditions, or those who simply benefit from extra patience and extra attention. You may already see me walking dogs in Cheney and Airway Heights. I would be glad to get to know your pet family and learn what everyone likes best and wants most. I currently work as a "hand" maintaining a lower-maintenance property in the greater Spokane County. This arrangement is semi-formal and provides ample flexibility in my schedule to meet the needs of your pet family. Each home and family is different, and expresses their love for the pet family in different ways. I am glad to meet your pet family where you are all at, and give us an opportunity to get to know each other. I talk low and slow by default, but can easily match the energy of your pet family. Dogs will enjoy their walks and time together and return a happy camper :-) Cats will have a dedicated eye on them and if your cat is a playful or affectionate type, their need to socialize will be met. I can usually coax most shy cats into some socializing or play time, and cats who are "protective" of one thing or another, and maybe not as friendly, still will also get ample care and attention.

About: I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals of all kinds - dogs, cats, horses, pigs, chickens, etc. -which gave me hands-on experience with both everyday care and more intensive situations. Over the years, I’ve helped rescue and rehabilitate injured or sick animals, handled medication administration, and provided post-care support when they needed a little extra attention. I’ve also completed service dog training with my current dog, which has made me well-versed in obedience work, task training, and trick reinforcement using positive methods. I currently share my home with a cat, so I’m comfortable with all types of temperaments and personalities — from shy and cautious to playful and energetic. Whether your pet needs a calm, patient presence or someone active to match their energy, I’m confident I can provide the care and attention they deserve. If my schedule is open, I am not working and have all day and all night to dedicate to fur babies. If working, weekends will be my availability. When caring for pets I focus on comfort, safety, and consistency. I follow each pet’s established routines closely - feeding/walks to playtime/rest - so they feel secure even while you’re away. In your home, I keep things tidy, respect your space, and make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I provide updates with photos or messages so you always know how they’re doing. In my own home, animals get a calm, cozy environment with structured routines, enrichment activities, and lots of love. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs, whether that’s quiet companionship, active play, or extra patience for nervous animals. Because of my background with obedience and service dog training, I’m confident managing different temperaments, and I always prioritize positive reinforcement, calm energy, and trust-building.

About: Hi! I’m Stassney, and I’ve been caring for dogs for years—whether it’s walking, feeding, playing, or just giving them company while their humans are away. I’ve worked with all types of dogs, including those with special routines or extra energy. I understand how important it is to keep pets happy, safe, and loved when you’re not home. I treat every dog like my own and always aim to make them feel comfortable and cared for. I am a stay at home dog mom to my 2 fur babies, I understand the commitment dogs need, not only physical stimulation but mental stimulation. Currently working towards my dog training cert, I have some extra free time everyday! I have a Siberian Husky and German Shepherd both trained and playful! Our dogs will not be left alone unsupervised a crate is required for boarding. I aim for 2-5 miles for a walk, and mental stimulation through training or scent work!

About: I became a first responder to care for others on their worst days. My own pup has kept me company during mine, especially when work becomes a bit stressful. Overall he has completed my little family 🐶👨‍👧 I wouldn't mind spending some of my free time caring for your pets. I myself have a Doberman named Achilles who is such a affectionate pup. I have spent the last year training him on obedience, commands, socialization, food aggression, leash behavior, discipline and recall. My dog is a perfect example of how my style of care is. Highlight on providing a loving environment mixed in with some structure for routine. I receive many compliments on how well behaved he is. I strongly believe that our pets reflect highly on the type of character their owner has. Dobermans are a high energy breed and require a lot of mental stimulation to maintain a healthy balance within the home. I do live an active lifestyle so physically keeping up with your pet is never an issue. Providing them with a fun and caring place to enjoy themselves is the goal. I reference my dog so that you can get a general idea of what experience has been gained. Along with the experience I have had from my childhood until an adult helping care for a wide variety of animals from strays to family members pets or friends while they were out of town. Each came with their own personality and preference on care and I can proudly say that I have been successful providing each with a high level of care while they spent time around me. The breeds I spent the most time around through family & friends would mostly be Dogs: Great Danes, Pit bulls, German shepherds, Poodles, and Dobies. Cats: Maine coon, and Tabby cats “Our task must be to free ourselves by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty.” I currently work in EMS as a first responder👨🏽‍🚒🚒 During the day I just work on homework or study so making time to care for your pets is no challenge at all! To be honest when I am hired to dog walk I just use it as a warm up before heading to the gym lol. When I am hired to pet sit or do a drop in, it is an excuse to just spend time around a wide variety of loving breeds which is a win to me. Anytime I am providing care to one of your pets, my goal will be aligned with what I expect from sitters when I hire them to watch my pup during trips I can't take him on. That will be to maintain that same feeling of routine and care for your pet that you provide for them.

About: I am a dog lover! I have a golden doodle and yellow lab who are a huge part of our family. Everywhere we go, I have to stop to pet all of the dogs we pass! I am a stay at home mom, so I am home most of the day. We spend a lot of time outside on nice days and I am able to let dogs out for potty breaks whenever they need. I have a large fenced in yard and two friendly dogs to keep your pup company. We love to snuggle up with a pup on the couch and watch tv in the evenings. I do have 2 toddlers, who are used to being around dogs and are gentle.
