About: I have raised and lovingly cared for 3 dogs in the last 20 years. Your pet will feel like they are at home when you're away.. I am a local teacher with my summer off. I have two dogs and children but they travel between two houses. While your pet stays with me it would be just them and myself, they would get my full attention! My yard is set up for games of catch or just exploring new smells. I have a fenced in backyard and an already established dog friendly home. I love walking around my neighborhood and to the park. I am able to drive to your home if needed to feed, let out or walk your pet.

About: I have had 3 puppies in the past 3 years and one elderly, sickly dog that I help take care of, and watch a family friend's dogs, by walking and feeding them whenever they need me to as they take multiple trips throughout the year. Very flexible as watching pets is something I do on a daily basis with all 8 of my dogs requiring attention. My schedule also fits the needs of future clients and what special needs they may insist on. About: I started petsitting as a college student in DC in 2010, until I left in 2013. I took a short break, but began petsitting again in Ithaca NY in 2014, running my own business, and stayed very busy until 2020 when covid hit. Since then, I have kept my clients to a select few, very local clients. I have experience with all kinds of animals, but I have finally admitted I'm a crazy dog lady :) I currently work full time but am a homebody outside of work, and animals are my stress relief...so I love being able to spend time with all kinds of animals! When caring for pets in client's homes, I always ensure that they are safe. If there is a fenced in area, I ensure that all gates are secure before letting pets out. If there is no fenced in area, I always ensure that I walk dogs in a safe location and avoid contact with other dogs.
