Rover is my full time job. I usually work weekday mornings and afternoons, but I'm happy to work with clients individually to come up with a schedule that works. Let me come to you! About: I have had animals my whole life, and have worked in the pet industry for 6 years. My day job experience has been managing 2 different local pet food stores, where I’ve learned a lot about the needs of dogs and cats, and their body language. My old job had foster cats, so I have experience taking care of up to 10 cats at a time (feeding, litter cleaning, meds, and playtime). I also have pet sat for many of my friends and family members. I love walking! I enjoy taking my own dog on short walks or really long walks to get his energy out. I have experience with high energy dogs that may pull or not be comfortable around other dogs or people. I also have experience with puppies, kittens, and special needs pets. I’ve owned 2 disabled dogs that required diaper changes, meds, and regular bathing and cleaning up after them. Please note that my rates are a starting rate, and if you are more than 6 miles from me, I may charge a travel fee to compensate for gas and wear and tear on my vehicle. I am currently going to school full time at UNM. My schedule is pretty flexible though, and I am willing to work with you! I can come before, in between, or after class and on weekends! I will always want to come meet you and your pet before I start the service. I will take notes on everything so I can keep your pet on their routine, no matter how specific. I want to make you and your pet 100% comfortable! I am experienced with reading body language with pets, so I can tell if your pet is too overwhelmed or nervous. I also love sending updates, including photos and videos, to let you know how your fur baby is doing!

About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and build trust through consistency and care. I’ve also cared for multiple pets through prior sitting experiences, including three dogs of different sizes and three cats, so I’m comfortable adapting to a variety of temperaments, routines, and energy levels. While in college, I’ve continued growing my experience by volunteering with a local shelter’s Doggy Day Out program, taking dogs on walks, hikes, and special outings to give them enrichment and a break from the shelter environment. These experiences have strengthened my ability to care for pets with patience, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm. I am currently a student at UNM and working part time, so my evenings are relatively free during the week. Friday afternoons - Sunday mornings are the best time for me to hangout with your pet and care for them full time. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and comfort will always be my top priority. I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise, affection, and attention—whether that means long walks, playtime, or just lots of love and cuddles. If you choose house sitting, your pet won’t just be cared for—they’ll have a constant companion who keeps their routine consistent and stress-free. About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I have had two registered therapy dogs and have house sat for numerous families. I love all dogs and just want them to be cared for whi families enjoy their time away I’m retired so I have an open schedule and am free for days or weeks depending on your needs. I can housework or host. Just let me know anytime I have a gated yard as well as doggie door access and don’t really crate animals. I let them run free in the house unless otherwise specified

About: ive been around dogs whole life and wanting to lend a helping hand to other fur parents who need someone to check in on their babies! I am currently a student finishing up my last year and CNM. i work part night nights on the weekends and school during the day but can be pretty flexible with whatever is necessary have 2 dogs who just turned 3 who are fairly high energy so lot of walks and sniff spots in our area. i normally care for them during the day and my boyfriend and I will walk and play with them in the evening after dinner to prep them for bed

To ensure the safety of both pets and myself, I require a meet and greet before accepting new clients and may decline bookings if I don’t feel I’m the right fit for a pet’s specific behavioral needs.

About: I have cared for my own pets, friends pets, and family members pets for decades, including multiple senior pets and those with specific medical needs. I work from home and have my own pets who are spoiled with constant company and attention to needs. I walk my own dogs in the morning throughout the summer to avoid the hottest part of the day. It is unlikely I am ever out of the house for more than 90 minutes, ensuring that neither your nor my own dogs are left unattended for long enough to become anxious. My backyard is fully shaded, fenced, and has a small pond. Even on the hottest days my backyard is suitable for lounging despite the high desert heat.
