I currently work full time as a pediatric medical assistant, but would be happy to come by after work to take care of any sweet dog or cat. About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have always had a deep love for caring for them. In 2019, I had the opportunity to raise my own cat after he was left behind by his mother, which gave me valuable hands-on experience caring for a kitten from a very young age. Today, I’m a proud pet parent to both a senior cat and a playful kitten, giving me experience with pets at different stages of life. I also have experience caring for small- and medium-sized dogs and understand the importance of providing them with exercise, attention, and companionship. About: Hi! I’m River. I was raised with dogs and cats (and birds and turtles and fish) as a child, and as an adult I have raised my own from puppyhood/kittenhood through their senior years. I am comfortable with puppy potty training, litter box training, cleaning messes, handling kitten/puppy energy, etc. I can do light grooming (brushing fur, cleaning with wipes, applying powders, etc) and give medications. (I can even do baths with the right set-up, and advanced notice.) I typically like to do a little light housekeeping anywhere I stay; I live by the motto of “leave it better than you found it.” I also have a wide range of experience and am comfortable caring for various other pets that might need tending while you’re out. In general I love all animals; when asked if I am “a dog person or a cat person,” I say, “yes.” I have done lots of pet-sitting for friends and family (including fostering for a year, to help a friend of a friend while she finished school) and I love meeting and getting to know new animal friends. I am finally joining Rover at the recommendation of many friends and family members who think caring for people’s pets is an excellent job for me. I’m new to Rover, but not new to pet care, and if you trust me with your pets’ care you will find they are in very good hands! I am happy to care for your pets in the way that works best for them: coming regularly to take them for walks, scoop litter boxes, and pick up puppy pads, etc., or staying with them in the comfort of their own home if they need more than drop-in attention. If in-home sitting is needed for extended periods, I may need to leave for a few hours at a time, but I can work around your pet’s needs for specific mealtimes, walk/potty times, etc. I love all pets as the individuals they are, and care for them as if they were my own. You can rely on me to follow detailed instructions, keep you updated, and make sure they are as happy and well-cared-for as can be while you are away.

About: I’ve taken care of animals from dogs and cats to horses and gerbils since I was a kid. I’ve worked in the vet industry for over 5 years and know my way around the health of your fur baby. I strive to care for the needs of your pet in the time of your absence like they were my own. I’m currently taking care of and walking fur babies full time. I’m very flexible and am available most days for drop-ins and walks. I’m available to house-sit as well in the comfort of your fur babies home with reasonable know time in advance. Just reach out and I’m sure we can figure something out Having someone who isn’t family stay in your home with your fur baby can be daunting, but I take the upmost care of your fur baby and the household. I have a motto to “leave it better than I found it” meaning I may end up cleaning the whole house in the process of cleaning up after myself haha. Whatever care instructions you have for your pet I will follow to the t as well as pick up after myself and respect your space.

About: I have been around animals my entire life, I have two dogs, three cats, a chinchilla and a lizard. Your animals will get the care I would give mine. I have petsit for two dogs for a nice lady for about 10 years. I also petsit 3 cats for a friend whenever she leaves town. I am currently a college student that needs to start making money but can't find a job that works with my schedule. I'm free every night and can make myself available for parts of some days. I can't take care of animals in my own place due to my landlord but I will follow whatever rules you have to the letter. I will take care of each animal to the upmost ability.
