About: I have always had dogs and cats and love animals sometimes more than people, LOL! I have retired from my business career and now getting to enjoy caring for your furry children. I am happy to walk your dogs and do whatever you need for them to be comfortable while you are away. I am currently working full time but will be retiring soon. At this time, I will be available to care for your furry friends on the weekends but in the coming year will also be available throughout the week. We have a guest house where I will board your pet, so no need to worry about any interaction with my current pets. I can offer a relaxing atmosphere and all day care on weekends along with morning and afternoon care on week days. I can also board or do drop-in visits for fish, hamsters, or horses. Your dog will love a relaxing mountain retreat! Your cat can enjoy a quiet vacation! I work full time as a teacher. I can board your pet all weekends or in the afternoons. I can take crate trained dogs anytime during the week but could only provide potty breaks every 6-8 hours. I am available for dog walks or drop-in visits any day in the afternoon or evening in the Chambersburg, Gettysburg, and Hagerstown areas. Your pet would live only with me in a private guest house. We have 300 acres to go for walks or chase balls! My husband and 9 cats live in the main house. Our cats don’t mind other animals but I can keep your pet away from the cats if you prefer. As a 15 year high school teacher, I am very trustworthy, authentic, and kind. I admit to being a bit of a “crazy animal person” as I try to pet every animal I see! About: My appreciation and respect for animals started when 1 day my extended family came home with the cutest Pomeranians who then had puppies and then those puppies had pups! They became family and we would babysit each other's fur baby. I loved having a dog because I love being outdoors, running, and exploring. My approach is to give them space and let them come to me when they please. My baby boy, Simba is 7 years old, he is baby friendly, and protective of my girls around strangers, he adores my daughters! He sleeps next to them every night and during the day he follows them around and enjoys watching them play.
