“Naila met with my cat and I prior to her first drop-in to get familiar with her. She was super sweet and did really well with my cat. She was on time for the drop-ins and sent plenty of pics of my kitty while I was gone ❤️ I will definitely book with her again.”

About: Coming from a family who shares a love for animals, the passion I have for them has always been present. I have experience in walking, feeding, bathing, playing, and showing nothing but love to the animals I have had the joy of taking care of throughout the past 10 years. From taking care of our family dog who is now a senior dog, to doing check ins for my friends, I provide whatever care they may need. I am currently doing part-time work. My main availability is Monday-Friday 9am-8pm. Availability is less likely on weekends, however I can work something out if needed. I have a fenced in backyard with a ramp for our senior dog who can’t use stairs. There are plenty of toys for them to play with.

“I cannot say enough good things about Krystal or adequately express how grateful I am for her. She is a professional but she also truly loves our fur babies and cares for them. I’m not sure I would travel if I could not book her to care for our cats while we’re gone!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals for most of my life. I am certified in animal enrichment. I am a zookeeper. I have volunteered at animal shelters. Animals are a safe place for me, so I find ways to make it what I do the majority of the time. I do it for a living. Mental stimulation and physical activity are very important to me. I do have a fenced in yard, but just running isn’t enough for any animal, so I make sure they are getting the mental stimulation they require.

“Tracie was fantastic. The pups said she was great allowing them to walk off some energy while mom and dad were away for the day. They said they socialized with neighbors, drank some water, had dinner, and pottied. They were happy babies. Thank you Tracie. We appreciate you and cannot wait to have you care for loves again!”

“We are so thankful that we chose Marilyn to take care of our new puppy Nola while we were away for a week. We were apprehensive about leaving her but unfortunately, she could not travel with us. Marilyn sent photos and videos of her visits of Nola playing outside every day and it is clear she really spent a lot of time with her. We highly recommend anyone looking for a dog sitter to contact Marilyn as she is the best! We will definitely use her again.”

About: I’ve had animals my entire life and love taking care of them. The unconditional love and understanding an animal gives is unlike anything else. Earning their trust is something I take pride in. Since the beginning of Covid, I’ve pivoted to pet sitting and housesitting to earn a living. It brings me such joy everyday! I do pet sitting full time, so unless I’m already booked, I’m available to take care of your fur baby! Please let me know your needs. I will treat your pet as if they were my own! I understand that your animal is not simply a “pet”, but a cherished and important family member. If there is anything specific you would like done for your fur baby, please just ask!

“I don’t trust many people with my furkids, but Erik is GREAT with my dogs! I don’t worry when I know he’s looking after them. He’s attentive and very interactive…they love him. Erik is very friendly, responsive and communicative—he’s my ‘go-to’ Rover and I highly recommend him.”

“Ashtan was the best with my babies. She took care of them like they were her own. She was extremely patient with them since it was the first time they met her. At the end they loved her. I will definitely hire her again 😁”

About: Admitted lifelong animal fanatic. I currently have a three-year-old Cavapoo named Goose and a 12-year-old orange tabby named Milk—my beloved fur babies! Over the years, I've volunteered with shelters and provided drop-in visits, doggie daycare, and boarding services for my furry friends. I have experience with pets of all ages, from playful puppies to sweet senior companions. In August 2023, Goose and I graduated from Asheville Dog Academy's obedience program, and I’ve loved applying those skills to help other animals ever since. I recently moved back home to the Birmingham area after spending years in the mountains of North Carolina. Now, I’m thrilled to devote my time to caring for furry friends! I’m available for drop-in visits to walk, feed, and play with your pets or house sit if your babies enjoy a friendly guest. I’m happy to work around your schedule and will do my best to accommodate last-minute needs—life happens, and I totally get it! I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family members. Let’s chat! Pets are family, and they play such an important role in our lives. Food, water, and potty breaks are essential, but sometimes animals need a little extra care...especially when their humans are away. Some dogs need to stretch their legs and burn off energy. If a trip to the dog park is their favorite thing, I’m a great pup taxi with an impeccable driving record! Others just need extra love and attention...whether it’s a belly rub, some good ol’ couch time, or simply companionship. That’s the good stuff, and I love every minute of it!

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 5 and have had all ages so I have had experience in how handle them all. i do not go to school until after 9am and I am able to be home by 11:30am Monday thru Friday. I can be home all day Saturday and Sundays. Monday-Wednesday I typically work but have a flexible schedule and can change it if needed. So this will allow me to be the only person caring for your animal. In my home we let our cats roam and have their bowls out so they can eat whenever. If you need me to keep your cat on a schedule I can also do that. We feed our dog morning and night. I let him out in the morning and let him stay outside in our backyard/deck until I or someone else get home.

About: I’ve been working with Pawms Pet Resort for almost 5 years. I manage the daycare, which has an average of 50 ish big dogs at a time; and I’ve bathed, fed, or walked every breed of dog you can think of. Walking, bathing and loving pets is all I know! I also can medicate them if your pups are sick. I have over 1000 hours of experience and you will have absolutely nothing to worry about. I give the best work possible for better prices than all of the big businesses around town. I have unconditional love for standard pets of all shapes and sizes. I’ve broken up plenty of dog fights and been bitten, but it doesn’t bother me anymore. If worse comes to worst I also know CPR for dogs. I am a kennel technician at the Pawms Pet Resort in Avondale and taking care of, bathing, feeding and making them feel loved is what I do for a living. I just moved out, however we had a Boston terrier and a beagle; and we would play with them in our fenced backyard or take them on walks around the block. I now live next to highland park and I also work at a doggy daycare.

About: I have had many different breeds and types of dogs my whole life and have a decent sized back yard for for everyone to play in! I work for a school system and currently work Monday- Thursday 7-2 and come home around 10:30-11 to check on my dogs. I’m off Friday-Sunday and will be home more often during the summer My dogs eat once a day and have open access to water bowls. I do have a separate room that I can use to feed anyone who is not good at communal feeding or eats more than once a day. All of my dogs are friendly with other animals! I have one female dog who does not like other male humans

Krystal B.

Alexandra T.
“Alex is one of the few people I can trust with my dogs. We have three littermates and littermate syndrome (stronger bonds between the dogs than normal, reactivity) makes it where we need someone who understands dogs and body language to be able to properly care for them and prevent any issues. I know my dogs require a little more than the average dog, but do not have to worry when she is with them. Alex has so much experience with a variety of animals and their care and even has training as a dog trainer. Not only do I trust her with my dogs, I feel safe leaving my home in her hands. I cannot recommend Alex more!”

Tracie B.

Jen G.
“Jen was fantastic. She has stayed in our home and taken care of our dog (a beloved but fairly high maintenance Corgi) and two cats numerous times. She was the best sitter we have ever had! She asked lots of good questions before her first stay, which made me feel confident in hiring her. That confidence proved to be well-placed. She went above and beyond. She sent numerous pictures, videos, and updates, and in each everyone seemed to be having an absolute ball. She perfectly followed the routine and requests we left. It was clear she genuinely liked my pets and enjoyed being around them as much as they enjoyed her. Gizmo was sincerely worn out since Jen played with him so frequently. Jen is patient, kind, and knowledgeable. Additionally, she left the house just like I left it, clean and organized, and even gave attentive care to our plants. I plan on hiring her anytime I travel and fully recommend her and her services. You and your fur family will be thrilled.”

Halie P.

“Halie was great with my pup! Loved all the pictures I got! I would use her again in the future when I need a sitter for my pup and recommend to others as well.”

“Ronda Lynne took amazing care of my cavapoo, Cricket! From the moment we met, I could tell she genuinely loves dogs and would treat Cricket like her own. She provided frequent updates with pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Cricket came home happy, well-cared for, and maybe even a little spoiled! I highly recommend Ronda Lynne to anyone looking for a kind, responsible, and trustworthy pet sitter. We will definitely be booking with her again! 🐾💕”
