About: I have had dogs my entire life. They ranged from puppies all the way to them becoming senior dogs, and they all came from very different backgrounds. I am especially good with senior dogs. My childhood dog eventually had severe arthritis and needed medication and some extra help. I would do anything for her that helped her feel more comfortable! I also puppysit for some family members so I am also used to the craziness a puppy can bring! I am currently available most days at any time until August 11. My cat does need medication at 8pm, but any other time of the day works for me! I can care for your pets however you need in your home! Whether it's going on a walk, playing outside, or staying inside, whatever is best for them is doable!

About: I have had 2 dogs, as well as been a dog sitter, walker and runner for the last few years. I love excersing and taking long walks around neighborhoods and trails. I enjoy playing, cuddling and hanging out with furry friends. I have also taken care of senior dogs as well as doggies with terminal illness. I am home for the summertime and have many free hours during the days and nights. I occasionally pick up a night shift however am free all day and am a night owl so I can provide a walk and outside time once I'm home! I have had 2 lovely dogs in the past, and my home is very pet friendly. I make sure their water bowl is always full and have a variety of treats and high quality foods for furry friends. I have had many jobs where I stay at clients homes for weeks at a time, as well as jobs where I drop by 4 times a day to walk and play. I am very flexible with dog care preferences!

About: I love all animals but have a soft spot for older dogs and cats that might need a little extra love and attention. I grew up with dogs but currently have a 5 year old cat who i adopted. I am a teacher who has much more free time in the summers. I am looking for afternoon/evening weekday jobs and anytime on the weekends. I will come to your home and make your fur baby feel comfortable in their own space. I can also take them for walks and/or play with them in your home.

About: I’ve always been passionate about animal welfare and care. There has never been a time I have not owned animals and currently has 4 cats and 1 dog. My experience stretches further as I have experience with anywhere from small animals such as chinchillas and guinea pigs to horses and previously working as a vet managing 90 baby deer. I share a lot of love and attention with my animals and would be happy to share that time and dedication with yours! I have a full time career in Human Resources for a large local employer where I work remote which has allowed me to have so many of my own fur babies! I am pretty flexible and wouldn’t accept a job where I couldn’t meet your animals needs. I have four cats that are well adjusted to dogs (including my neighbors 90 lb golden retriever) and a very social dog that my husband takes to the dog park 4 days a week. I also don’t mind staying at other persons homes as I have before with our neighbors and friends. You can expect that I will always treat your home and privacy with the utmost respect—just as I would want someone to do in my own home. If you have specific rules or instructions, you can count on me to follow them carefully and consistently.

About: I have had pets in my house hold my whole life. I have also had many clients in which I took care of animals of all ages and health. I have been responsible for walking, bathing, feeding, grooming, and taking care of medical needs for these animals. Chloe (my fur baby) does everything with me from sunrise to sun set. We usually spend at least an hour at the dog park a day, go for a walk, and play with all of her toys. Her and I would love to have your furry friends join us. Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine, and I make sure to prioritize it. On a daily basis, I ensure my pet is fed at regular intervals, typically in the morning and evening. I also take them for walks or play sessions to provide exercise and mental stimulation. Depending on the type of pet, I also spend time on grooming, whether it’s brushing, cleaning their ears, or ensuring they have fresh water. When caring for pets in a client's home, I apply the same level of attention and responsibility as I would for my own. I follow the pet's usual routine as closely as possible to minimize stress and maintain their comfort. I make sure to feed them according to the owner's instructions, provide regular exercise (walks or playtime), and ensure their environment is safe and secure while they are in my care. If the pet has specific needs—whether it's medication, special diet requirements, or behavioral concerns—I carefully follow the owner's instructions and communicate regularly to ensure everything is going smoothly. Additionally, I maintain a clean living space for the pets and always clean up after walks or playtime. If I'm providing services like pet sitting, I also ensure to follow any house-specific rules or routines, making the pet feel as comfortable as possible in their own home. I believe in building trust with both the pet and the owner, and I always stay in touch with the owner for updates or any questions that may come up during the care period.

About: I have many years of experience dealing with dogs of all breeds and sizes, from dog sitting to just walking my neighbors dogs on occasion. I have no problem taking them on a leisurely walk or going on a run. I've also grown up around dogs my entire life, I've never known a family life without at least a couple of dogs in the picture. I love all types and just really enjoy spending time around them and playing with them. I'm currently planning on working part time so I'm free basically whenever throughout the day to meet dog walking needs and get some exercise in. In a clients home I would just be extremely respectful of the house itself as well as what the pet needs. I would just make sure my tasks are finished in a proper way and that the pet is happy and everything is in the place it was originally in when I first arrived before leaving.

About: I’m a school counselor (on hiatus) stay at home mom. I have 29+ years of experience pet sitting (starting when I was 8), with 15 of those years being professional dog handling when I used to help raise and train guide dogs for blind people. I have been using a similar dog boarding app for the last few years so I’m starting fresh on Rover but I assure you I’m experienced. I have a friendly pet dog and chickens. What can I offer? I can board your dog at my home or do home visits. I can help with minor dog training. And I’m experienced in several other animals. I have a fenced yard. I’m comfortable with big dogs and dogs with behavioral challenges (case by case). I’ve rescued 4 Rottweilers in the past with unique behavior issues. Why me? I’m particularly in-tune to animal needs, especially when their owners are away. I send lots of pictures and do what I can to keep them comfy. Your privacy is important to me. I respect the vulnerability of letting a “stranger” into your home or being responsible to keep your pet safe. Let’s discuss what I can do for you and your pet. Use this promo code to give pet owners new to Rover $20 off their first booking. Your Promo Code: LINDSS45396 I’m home during the day. Your dog becomes part of my “pack” during their stay, built around their comfort level. I have one pet dog and 2 small kids. Sometimes I have other boarded dogs but I’ll always confirm with both dogs’ families before I book an overlap. I have an infant and toddler that typically travel to gigs with me. Unless I can get my husband to take them after work hours. And two step daughters age 9&10. I put your pets needs as a priority, so if your pet isn’t fond of children, I won’t let my kids bug them. Boarding: dogs spend their stay in the ground floor of my home which is a large space with backyard access. We have a fenced yard. I do require your dog to be crated when I leave the home to run errands. This is for their safety and comfort. If you don’t want your dog interacting with mine, I am experienced in keeping dogs separate and safe. I’ve boarded/sat at least 100 dogs and I’ve never had any issues. Sitting: I can do the basics such as feeding and potty and meds. Plus, I can take your dog for walks or play in your yard. If you prefer, after all your pets cares are complete, I can arrange to bring my computer and work my remote job at your home for a couple hours a day to spend time with your pet. Or watch a movie with them.

“Tyler stopped in to check on our cat, Lexi, while we were on a long (17 day) vacation. He kept us up-to-date on his visits, made sure she had plenty of food, water and, most importantly, her treats! He even helped us out by picking tomatoes and zucchini from our garden and refrigerating them. We would not hesitate to contact him for our next vacation.”

About: I grew up with five dogs. I worked at a dog daycare for the past 6 months. While I worked there, I gave them enrichment, affection, cleaned up poop from the yards, and supervised dogs to make sure they played safely. I am free any time on the weekends. I will be getting a new job so I'm not 100% sure what my weekday hours are going to be like as of right now. I will be taking care of clients' pets in their own home or yard because we live in an apartment and also have three cats.

About: My very first job was working at a family owned boarding and grooming kennel. I started when I was 14 years old and worked there through college. In between that, I've pet sat for several family members and friends. I work full time as a second shift (3:00 pm - 11pm) 911 dispatcher. I'd love to do some evening or early morning walks to start and would like to expand into pet sitting as my schedule allows. I have preference to pet sitting at the clients home because my roommates dog is a bit fickle on who she gets along with. Plus I own a cat and I know not every dog likes cats. As a pet sitter, I intend to take your dog for regular walks in addition to normal outside play time. I can work with your dog on any ongoing training you have with them.

“Erelyn did a fabulous job with our dog while we were gone on a 5 day vacation! We had previously boarded him but after some anxiety issues from the last time we went on vacation, we asked Erelyn to stay and dog sit at our house. She came to visit with him once beforehand and he took right to her! While we were gone Erelyn took him for his daily walks, played with him, made sure he was fed at his times (he has a special schedule because of his acid reflux) and also sent us daily photos of him :) When we returned there was no signs of anxiety and he actually looked for her after she had left. We highly recommend Erelyn to take care of your pets!”
