About: Dogs have been my constant companions throughout my life, and I've loved training and caring for them every step of the way. Currently volunteering with the La Plata County Humane Society has only deepened my commitment to animal welfare. Since I work from home, your pet will rarely be alone. I'll keep you connected with plenty of photos and updates, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your best friend is in loving hands. Since I work from home, your pet will rarely be alone. I do not have any hobbies or obligations that would take me away from them for more than a few hours. If your pet has any special needs, I am sure I can accommodate. I will care for your pets however you may wish! I love playing with dogs, taking them on walks or to the dog park, or simply lounging at home with them. About: My heart has always belonged to dogs. I grew up alongside many beautiful and loyal pets who I learned to care for. I have worked with senior dogs that require medications or special assistance. In 2022 I worked as a nanny and caretaker to a beautiful high energy shepherd that was a very stubborn walker. I learned to use commands, treats, and a head collar to help keep her in control so I could focus on the children during walks. I am so grateful to learn from the pets I work with. I have been able to apply much of what I learned from her training to teach my own stubborn pup to walk without ripping my arm off. I currently work as a daycare attendant at Happy Dog Daycare in Eureka. I love working with the huge variety of breeds and personalities that walk through the door everyday. I am pet CPR and First Aid Certified. Drop-In visits on weekdays will be available either 6am-12pm or 1pm-12am depending on my schedule for the week. Weekend visits may be scheduled anytime. Multiple visits may be booked each day. House sitting is available all week. I work during the week so pets must be able to be safely left unattended for up to 6 hours during the day. If your pet loves others and is fully vaccinated consider signing them up for Happy Dog Daycare for days you have to be away! (Will shuttle for existing clients. Subtract $14-22 from Rover price on days pet attends daycare. Client is responsible for daycare fees) Weekend pet sitting is open, I can be available 24/7 to care for your pet and home! HOUSESITTING - I am happy to accommodate your pet's specific routine as well as provide playtime and outings. Let's chat about your pup's needs so we can ensure they can have a fear free booking!. I want to ensure your pet is as comfortable and loved as possible while you're away. DROP-IN VISITS - 30 minutes typically includes feeding, changing water, potty break, and playtime. I am open to doing short 10-15 minute walks during drop-ins. 1 hour drop-in visits include feeding, changing water, walk and playtime suited to your dog’s needs. I suggest 1 hour visits if your dog is high energy or needs extra attention.

About: Hello! I’m a Durango local, recent college grad, and, above all, an animal lover. I grew up with animals and have spent years pet‑sitting for friends and neighbors, as well as volunteering with rescue organizations, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’m attentive to instructions, give regular photo updates, and treat every pet like my own. Having cared for my own two senior pups, I’m familiar with medication schedules, gentle exercise, etc. Although I’m new to Rover, I bring years of knowledgeable experience, and I can’t wait to make your pup feel safe, loved, and right at home. I am home during the day, which means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pet attention, exercise, and care. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends, and I’m happy to adjust to your pet’s specific routine. If needed, I can also provide transportation for boarding. Pets boarded in my home are free to roam a cozy, pet-friendly space and the fenced backyard. There are no other pets or children—just two mellow hens in a fully enclosed outdoor run. I make it a priority to help your dog feel safe and relaxed, especially in a new environment. I’ll stick closely to your pet’s usual routine for feeding, walks, medications, and house rules to make their stay as smooth as possible. For house sitting and drop-in visits, I follow the same philosophy and treat every home with the same respect I give my own.

About: I have my own well behaved 2 year old medium sized dog. In health care and very knowledgeable. Love and care for all animals small or big. Available mainly on Saturday through Monday. But flexible with my current job if needed. Happy to work around my work schedule but free through the weekend and Mondays. I will care and take care of your pet as I would my own. But also take into consideration any of your pets needs and wants.

About: I grew up with dogs of my own and have dog-sat for several friends and employers. I find dog-walking very meditative, and the personality of dogs can really come alive outdoors. I’m very attentive to energy levels, food/water intake, and of course, play time! I’m currently working part-time during the week but have my mornings and evenings open, as well as most weekends. I’m happy to chat more about what your pet care needs look like! Having my own cat, I always cat-proof my home to ensure that my cat is safe whether I am home or not. Before leaving the house, I always ensure my cat has enough food and fresh water. I would not only do this at your home, but I would also leave it better than I found it, treating your home as your sacred space that deserves respect, privacy, and cleanliness.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs, and I have been able to spend lots of time with furry friends!! I definitely love animals more than people. My mom has boarded dogs for years, so I have learned to feed, walk and take care of pets. I worked at a doggie/cat daycare and boarding place for a year and a half as a supervisor, and I learned a lot with that experience. I love hiking and going for walks, and I love hanging out with furry friends! I am currently in school, and do not have a job. I have plenty of time to hang out with your pets and I am able to stop by often. I will make sure the dog is fed, and gets outside when needed. If the dog needs to be in a crate, I will put them in a crate. If the dog needs a harness for walking I will absolutely use it.

About: Hi, I'm Victoria. I'm looking for an opportunity to stay active and engage with my pups in my local community. I have experience pet sitting overnight for multiple days and taking care of friends' and families' dogs. I'm a very outdoorsy and adventurous person, so I love taking dogs out for walks, hikes, and trips in nature. I'm pretty easygoing and can jive with the goofiest and most energetic pups, as well as the slow going sweethearts who just need to take it easy. I sent a message to Deb requesting care for our puppy, she responded within minutes was able to accept our last minute booking. She sent us updates and pictures throughout the day, took him on, walks, spoiled him, and loved him like he was her own. About: I’ve worked with animals my entire life! I’ve cared for horses and other pets with varying levels of medical and dietary needs and I’m comfortable with any type of pet and can stay on top of any unique medical needs they may have while giving them companionship! Since the age of 6 I’ve cared for a horse with very specific and high maintenance needs and I’ve even worked as a wrangler and caretaker in Yellowstone where I cared for over 30 horses at a time. I’m great at basic in home vet care and medication distribution if that is necessary! I’m very detail oriented and great at sticking to whatever specific schedule may be needed! I currently have a very flexible schedule and I am able to come for visits, provide outings, bring your pet to my house or come to your home. My home is directly on a trail head so I am able to provide fun outings for your pet if they are staying with me. I am a runner so if you like your dog to run I can take them running. I also enjoy walks and will meet your dog with whatever their needs may be.

I try to take the dogs out 2 times a day for walks and every couple of hours for potty breaks. I do have a wonderful pup-o of my own, Luna so your doggo has some company. About: Have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life! Never had a year without living with dogs, cats, and the many other lovely creatures I have as pets. I’m all about getting outside with animals and having fun! I’m currently a F+B manager working nights and have Sunday and Mondays off. Every morning, 6am -12pm, open for any adventure and/or pet care. Love taking care of senior dogs and running with high energy pups. I have no fence around my yard and keep all dogs on a leash or tether when outside and always accompanied when outside. I live right on the Animas River and love to walk my pets down. I have a 3 year old female dog Daisy and a 1 year old black male cat named Felix. Both are friendly and love making new friends! Will always take care of a clients pet and home like it’s my own.

About: I have 2 mini dachshunds & a golden retriever that the loves of my life. I take care of friend and family dogs as well and have taken care of up to 9 dogs at once! I love animals and it brings me joy to spend time with them and make them happy. I manage a country club in Durango, I work evenings typically not going to work till 2:00-3:00 so I have tons of morning time to spend with your animals! I get off around 9:00 every night. I do not offer bringing other pets into my home. In others homes i find it important to bring pets outside and ensure proper enrichment!
