I’ve grown up caring for a variety of pets and developed a deep love and understanding for them from an early age. I currently work full-time at Oconee Veterinary Hospital and have several years of experience in both veterinary and pet care settings. In addition to my hands-on experience, I’m also a full-time college student studying in the medical field, which has enhanced my knowledge of animal health, behavior, and overall care. I’m highly attentive to animals’ body language and behavior, and I’m committed to providing the same level of care and compassion to your pets as I would my own. Please note that I am not currently offering pet boarding in my own home due to a recent move. However, I do offer a variety of in-home services at my clients’ residences. And when your dog is ready for a little adventure, I’m happy to take them out for walks or outings at places like Dudley Park or Sandy Creek Park. 🐕🌳 . Why this works well 🏡 Large fenced yard — Plenty of room for your pup to play, explore, and burn off some energy. 💻 I work from home — Your dog gets to spend the day in a home environment rather than a traditional kennel or facility. 🌳 Adventure time — Dogs who enjoy getting out and about can join me for walks and adventures at Dudley Park, Sandy Creek Park, and other nearby spots. 📍 Super convenient location — Just one mile from Downtown Athens and UGA. Drop your pup off on your way to work, school, or downtown and pick them up whenever it works for you. 🔑 Flexible drop-off & pickup — I work from home, but if I happen to miss you, I have keyless entry makes it easy to come and go, even if I’m briefly away from home. ⏰ Daytime care — My preference is daytime stays between 7 AM and 9 PM, making this especially convenient for students and anyone working near downtown. Overnight stays can also be accommodated when needed. . A few important requirements 🐶 . To make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience: • Meet & greets are required before the first stay so we can make sure your dog is comfortable here and gets along well with other dogs. • I only accept friendly, social dogs who are comfortable around people and other dogs. • No aggressive dogs, please. • Dogs must be spayed/neutered and current on all vaccinations. Proof of vaccinations will be requested before the first stay. My goal is to make dog care easy and convenient for you while giving your pup a safe, social place to hang out, get some exercise, and have a little fun while you're away. 🐕❤️ . I am more than happy to take as many photos and videos as you need :) Pet Interaction Policy: While my own dogs will be present in the home, your pet will stay in a separate area and will not interact with them. This is to ensure the safety and comfort of both your pet and mine. Doggy playdates can be arranged based on your pet’s size and temperament.

About: Neighbors, friends and family continue to entrust me with their pets of all ages! My pup has hiked to high heights with me, but I’ve also loved many in their final, precious days. Wherever your loved one is, I’ll be sure to care for your fur babe like you would! I am a mom of one that works full time for a University from home. Monday through Friday I work from 8-5 with two 15 minute breaks and a lunch break of at least one hour. I am a triathlete that is often up at 5 AM training. Then, I go on a walk every day on my lunch and often again when I log off for the day. I’d love for your fur babe to tag along! I have two fenced in yards full of sun and plenty of shade. I have a 40 pound doodle that can keep them company and give them plenty of exercise if needed, but I can also keep them separated if that is preferred. I have fresh well water and a walking trail around our property. I can also crate your dog or offer them a bed if they need. Otherwise, your loved one will roam free with lots of play time and cuddles. Whatever your fur babe needs, I’m here to serve you!

About: I have always had a soft spot in my heart for dogs. I have carried this love into adulthood and I enjoy having them in my life. When your four-legged family member is with us they will be treated as one of the family. They will be doted upon and they will be constantly engaged, touched, and talked to. We go for walks in our 1-acre fenced backyard, which facilitates safe rewarding exploration and discovery. We allow the visitors to play and interact with our loving and friendly standard poodles who are great role models to each other and to visiting pooches. Even though your baby will be on their doggie Vaca, We will still use every opportunity to encourage learning, good manners, and good behavior by giving treats and positive reinforcement throughout the day. Stability, engagement, routine, and structure makes a happy dog and we aim to make sure that every four-legged friend who lodges with us, is happy and never wants to leave. Our resident babies eat twice per day and are allowed out for potty breaks three times per day. If it is a rainy day we do indoor activities in our 35x40 temperature controlled dog suite and we even watch a little "Dog TV" We have a great time, rain or shine! Sleeping arrangements will depend on what your baby is comfortable with but we do not allow our pets on the furniture or in our beds (at least when daddy is around). We have kennels but we allow the dogs to sleep anywhere they want to in the dog suite. I am a retired nurse and I am always home so I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for dogs in my day. We have a huge fenced in backyard where all the dogs enjoy their time outdoors. We also have plenty of equipment in the yard for their enjoyment.
