About: I’ve had several pets and worked with livestock over the years. Pepper was our family pet, a Border Collie I trained as a puppy. I cared for Murdoc, a 50lb German Shepherd mix, into his senior years. In 2017, I rescued Circe, a pint-sized black cat, and in 2021, Joey, my sweet senior beagle boy. I feel like I’ve done it all: thorns in the paw, administering meds, emergencies, play time, treat time, training, long walks, car rides, cleaning messes, and more! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I do venture out sometimes, but keep it to four hours maximum. I'm more of a night owl, so I prefer drop-offs after 10am and can accommodate pickups as late as 1:30am. If you need to arrange a drop-off earlier than 10am, need to book without two weeks notice, or I’m unavailable at the start or end of your booking, feel free to message me—I'm happy to see if we can work something out. I only book one dog at a time through Rover. However, I may also be caring for additional dogs through my LLC. If you're booking with me for the first time on Rover, please note that there may be other dogs in my home, other than my own, during your pet’s stay. These dogs are not new to my home—they’re regulars who have been properly vetted and are low- to medium-energy. Your pet is my priority ✨ I am attentive to details, so when a new furry friend comes over, I keep a close watch on how they're adjusting to their new temporary environment. I'm excellent at picking up on even the smallest signs they give off and base my care accordingly to ensure they're feeling comfy right from the start. I have a dog and cat at home and will care for your pet as though it were part of the fam! I have advanced education in communication, so I strive to be transparent about what is going on with your pet, and I expect the same from you before booking. Every pet has quirks, whether your pup needs lots of cuddles or some space to chill, I make it my mission to ensure your pup feels safe, happy, and like they're on vacation during their stay!

About: Hi my name is Christie and I am a huge Animal Lover! To me, dogs and cats aren’t just animals they are lifelong companions. 💕 I have many years of experience caring for a multitude of animals (30+ to be exact). As a kid, we had dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds you name it. In high school, I worked for a groomer and learned a lot about how to properly care for different animals. I've always had a passion for rescuing because of my mom and her love of rescuing/saving animals in need of a home. It’s something that she passed down to me. RIP Momma I Miss You! ❤️‍🩹 My philosophy is that every animal deserves to know what love is in its fullest form so that is what I strive to provide to each and every animal in my care. I just recently lost our two oldest rescues dogs named Romeo and our Wheaton Terrier named Hayley. Oh and let us not forget our very outspoken Torti cat named Nala whom we loved dearly. So we rescued our beautiful cat Bella and most recently a sweet 4 month old puppy named Nova. They are my furrkids, my companions, my therapy animals, and my little loves. As a self-employed cosmetologist I am blessed with a flexible schedule which allows me the opportunity to be here to help care for your pet companions in the best ways possible. I am flexible and I am open to helping when & where I’m needed. I have references I can provide from those whose animals I have cared for previously that I will happily provide. Exercise is important to me so we like to spend time taking the animals we care for on long walks or hikes, swimming, or to the park to chase a ball or frisbee. I strive to give them the love and play time that they deserve. 🫶🏻 I am currently self-employed so I’ll have lots of time to dedicate to your furbaby/furbabies. I’m dedicated to making sure your pet feels loved and accepted in our home. I have two friendly dogs who will give your furbaby lots of playtime fun. We teach tricks and go for daily walks, play fetch, and support lots of playtime. Daily snuggles and love are a must!!

“Danielle and her Alaska Huskies were wonderful! She was fun and helpful and obviously loved my fur babies and set limits so they knew what was acceptable behavior on her turf! She was accommodating as well. One evening my class went overtime. She had no problem keeping my boys until I could be there. She communicated by text to let me know how they were doing each day. She allowed us to visit before our appointed time so my dogs could be introduced to her dogs. Danielle was wonderful! I highly recommend her!!”

I grew up on a farm and recently relocated south of Kalamazoo and I appreciate all the time I can get to spend with animals. “Wonderful experience! Catherine was quick to respond and willing to watch my puppy who was still working on being potty trained. I received multiple updates and pictures throughout the day. She was willing to help with potty training and create training and offered other training services. She had great advice and did great with my puppy during her stay. She was flexible with pick up and drop off times and communicated needs and concerns with me about training before implementing changes with my puppy. Overall great experience!”

About: I have grown up taking care of many different dogs and cats most of my life. Walking, feeding, grooming and playing! We have boarded animals for family and friends many times. We have lots of love and attention to give your pets when you need help! We currently do not have any other cats or dogs in the home unless we are pet sitting to give more attention to your animals! Currently I am a stay at home mom to 6 kids total. (2 elementary kids and 4 teenagers) so my schedule is very flexible to meet your needs. Available during the day, evenings and overnights. We have a spacious fenced in backyard. We live in a quiet neighborhood right next to thurston woods park which makes it an ideal area to walk your pets! We have a ranch style home with lots of room and baby gates for basement stairway to keep animals on the main level. We also have dog toys to play with your pet! Any food, crates or specifics you have for us to use while having your animal we will keep safe and separate for easy transfer. We have a clean home and smoke free!

About: My husband and I have had dogs or been around dogs since we were kids. We know what it takes to feed them, walk them, play with them, and love them! I work from home full time so I will have plenty of time to spend with your pup and make sure they are well cared for. I am available weekdays and most weekends. We have a fenced in back yard with space for your dog to roam or play in. We live in a good neighborhood and the street is not too busy.

About: There has never been a day of my life that I haven’t had and loved and cared for a pet. My love for animals is unmeasurable. About: I've loved dogs ever since I can remember! I've helped some at a vet clinic and cared for dogs there. I have had my own dog who was a senior. I am very comfortable with, and have a soft spot in my heart for seniors. I actively dog sit acquaintances' dogs. I am very active and will love to run and walk your dog! I am not currently working, so I am home and happily willing to give 24 hour care to your pet. I have the extra time to spend playing with, walking, and snuggling your precious pet! I have a chain link enclosure with a high quality dog igloo, and I can easily crate your dog if needed, as well! While my yard is not fenced, I am home much of the time and am able to take your fur baby on long walks and playtime.

About: I’ve had animals most of life. Ranging from dogs, cats, gerbils, and fish. They come second nature to me. I have an Australian Shepherd that is 2 1/2 years old, and her name is Andi. I adopted her when she was 4 months, and she is my life. Well I work from home. Typically I set my own hours, but I have the time while working to watch over animals as well. The weekends I am typically home as well as the evenings. I currently have guinea pigs which are caged. My Australian Shepherd is not crated, and has free roam of the home. I do have 15 stairs that go from the entry way into my apartment. I currently have a leash outside in the backyard. I don't use it that much though as my dog Andi has learned to stay in the backyard, off the leash through training.

About: I have had pets of all kinds for most of my life. I have taken care of friends and families pets and worked as a veterinary assistant. I am currently a stay at home mom of an 11 year old so I have plenty of time to give your pet the care and time they deserve I have a fenced yard and four dogs of my own to keep your pet company. My dogs vary in size and age. I can crate your dog if requested and also have plenty of room and space if your dog needs to be away from my personal pets. My family loves our pets, and they are all very spoiled.

About: I’ve dealt with all sorts of dogs but and small ranging between chihuahuas to Great Danes. Another plus is for the past year I’ve been a dog groomer so my range of dogs is very high, I’ve had all ages of dogs. I’m currently wanting to make this my full time job and am available pretty much anytime right now! I love dog and cat and would love to take care of all different kinds. I have 2 dogs a toy poodle and a pitbull mix they are both very friendly and great with new dogs and love to play. They would be amazing to keep your dog company.
