Both of my dogs are very clingy and one has had a couple health problems the last month, which makes finding the right person to watch them really difficult. Knowing she’s a veterinary nurse gave me so much peace of mind, and she went above and beyond to make sure they were happy, healthy, and comfortable the entire time. She also was able to make it to us in a snow storm and I am so so grateful for that. She sent me so many photos of them and it was really nice to not have to worry about them. When I came home, both dogs were calm, happy, and clearly well looked after. I’m so grateful for the love and attention she gave them, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again. “I highly recommend Amber for any dog sitting or dog walking needs, no matter the size or personality of your pup! I have a 110 lb lab mix and a 70 lb Great Pyrenees mix—both can be a handful at times—but Amber handled them with confidence and care. Her experience with larger breeds (including her own huskies) gave me peace of mind from the start. What truly impressed me was how she connected with my younger dog, who is very skittish and slow to warm up to new people. By the end of the week, not only had my pup warmed up to Amber—she was jumping on the bed and cuddling next to her, something she rarely even does with me or my husband. I was amazed! Amber also sent me photos of the dogs every day to keep me updated, which I really appreciated—it helped so much when I was missing them while away. As someone who works long shifts in healthcare, I truly understand how important it is to have reliable, loving care for your pets when life gets busy. That’s why I’m offering drop-in visits for pets in the nearby area, helping give fellow pet parents peace of mind. My schedule can vary, so I kindly ask for 1–2 weeks’ notice to coordinate visits around my work shifts. I’m also open to overnight house sitting depending on availability—we can chat to see what works best! On my days off, I love getting outside and would be happy to take your pup for a walk on a nearby trail—possibly even alongside my own friendly beagle, if you’re comfortable with that. She’s great with other dogs and would love the company! Whether your pet needs a quick check-in, a relaxing walk, or some extra love while you’re away, I’m here to help care for them like one of my own. my schedule changes weekly, so my availability is variable. I’m primarily available for drop-in visits close to home on my days off, and I kindly ask for 1 to 2 weeks’ advance notice whenever possible to help me plan ahead. I’m open to overnight stays after building trust and familiarity with clients, but those will depend on my work schedule. I also occasionally travel, so consistent communication is appreciated for long term planning. I do not provide in-home boarding or care at my own home, but I’m happy to care for your pets in the comfort of their own environment. I’ll follow your instructions closely to maintain their routine. Safety and trust are very important to me, and I’m always respectful of your space and your pet’s needs.

I love to run and play with dogs that have as much energy as I do or even just hangout on the couch and enjoy a relaxing day. About: From Rottweiler to Boston Terriers, I grew up and have experience with dogs both large and small. I absolutely LOVE being outside (maybe as much as your doggy!) and would enjoy going on a hike together! Nurture in nature. Get out and play, and enjoy the day! I know lots of trails and spots your companion would love! Or we can chill at my house, I've got a fenced in yard and a super comfy couch (come on, let's watch a movie together)! About: I've been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with two chihuahuas and a beagle. I now have two German shepherds who are the complete opposite of each other. I have great passion for the welfare of animals. I am currently the President of the Animal Legal Defense Fund (student org) at my law school. I love to care for people’s pets as if they were mine while my classes allow. I am currently on my last semester of law school. I’m commuting this semester for about an hour drive most days. This semester I am a part time student, so I’m available as my commute and classes allow. I like to interact and play with your active pet or just chill out with your calm pet it. It all depends on what your pets needs are.

About: I have always loved interacting with animals, they are a joy to be around. Pet sitting has always been a fun opportunity for me to earn income since middle school, and now that I am embarking on my law school journey, I hope to continue that trend. I am comfortable assisting dogs and cats of any age. I’m dedicated to your pets comfort & happiness, and will treat your pet how I would hope you would treat mine, like family! I have been employed as a full-time nanny in the cheat lake area for the past three years. I will be starting law school at wvu this August! During the week, I will not be confined to a classroom all day, and will be sure to communicate my availability when you reach out with your pets needs. We have a spacious, fully fenced in backyard. While your animal will not be confined to a crate in our home, we do prefer that they are house and crate trained.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life and have watched over more dogs than can count. I also have three dogs of my own at home and one dog I take care of full time I am a full time college student and can be gone for a few hours for classes during the day, but I am home often other than school and the gym, so I am able to provide adequate attention for your fur baby! I currently don’t have a roommate, so it is just my fur baby Oreo, a 6 year old Boston Terrier, and myself! Occasionally we have guests stay over.
