About: With over 3 years of experience living with dogs and cats, I treat every pet like family. I offer a calm, trustworthy presence that keeps tails wagging. I’m currently working remotely, so caring for my maltese typically has been a breeze! I maintain a feeding, grooming, exercise, and mental enrichment routine with my dog. I feed my dog 2x a day and walk her for 30 minutes in the evening. Since she’s crate trained, she enjoys lounging around her bed while I work.

About: I have grown up in a household with dogs, mainly the medium to large sized breeds. I have experience with all sizes of dogs though, as I have taken care of a variety of sized dogs for friends, family, and neighbors. I have taken care of cats and dogs when needing medical care - especially giving meds and minor wound care - and also have groomed and walked many types and sizes of dogs. I love making sure the pets are healthy and happy. I have volunteered at an animal shelter to help with the care of animals - providing play time, meds, and grooming of both dogs and cats. I'm currently a full time student at SIUE and I'm in the MFA art studio program. For summer, I have fully online classes. The fall I have 3 in person classes with a mixed schedule. Mondays and Wednesdays are limited as I have a 3 hour morning class and 3 hour evening class, both being studio classes with some cleanup. Please note this as a potential issue due to the limited time for drop ins, walks, and check ins on a house sitting. Tuesdays and Thursdays are better as they just have one class. I will work with you ahead of time if there are any plans I have that will keep me away for longer than 4 hours at a time. During house sitting, I can provide food, medicine, play time, walks, and many other services. I also am willing to assist with house related things - bringing in mail, taking trash out for trash pickup, etc - just let me know and we can work it out. For walks and drop ins, my availability is generally flexible and will work with you to determine the best time(s) to be there. I can also provide some house related services (like bring in mail and packages) upon request. Please note I do have in person classes at SIUE Monday through Thursday. I am available to help with the pets at the clients home. I can either stay at your place or go home at night, which I can work with you based on your needs and comfort. I have experience with gated and non gated yards (so needing to leash the dog when taking out for the potty), gates for inside the house, and crate training. Often I will have my own leash with me so that if anything happens, I'm prepared. As for walks, I often work with the dog(s) to see what triggers them and avoid as much as possible. I know not all dogs are friendly with other dogs or people so I am aware of my surroundings and provide appropriate distance and avoid people and dogs as best as I can.

Big, small, medium, even tempered, wild, mellow, I absolutely love them all. I have a 11 year old black lab, who’s slowed down a lot. She is my everything. She just can’t move like she used to and I find something about raising a dog from a young pup to an aging one, so very special and rewarding. If your dog is fast paced or likes to smell every blade of grass, I’m game. Rain, shine, or snow, I’m available. I’d absolutely appreciate it if you gave me the opportunity to spoil your dog, not just walk. I understand these are your babies. My house is also open with a fenced in back yard and lots of attention and love offered. Let me know what questions or concerns you might have! I work Monday-Friday, I am free in the evenings and off on Thursdays typically. About: I have been caring for pets of every single kind since I was 8-9 years old. Everyone around me has for sure given me multiple jobs to take care of their animals. Feed, bathe, walk, etc. I also have experience in working in the animal field. I have worked at Metro East Humane Society, and have taken care of many animals. Given them shots, their medications, microchips, etc. I love all kind of animals. I am not working at all, I have a job of some sort on my phone where I sell art but that’s the only job I really have. Other than that, im free!! I have 2 dogs but only one of my dogs are able to keep your dog company. I have a kennel in case anything happens. I also have a big 9x9 play pen that would keep any animal in. I also have lick mats, enrichment toys , any other toys, i also have a dog first aid kit!!!

About: I am such an animal lover. I’ve grown up on a farm and I’ve been taking care of all animals since I could walk! I’m a healthcare worker just looking to fill up my extra time. I currently work 3 days a week. Mondays through Wednesdays. I’m looking to fill up my extra days off. Thursdays-Sundays! I don’t travel much so I’m always around. I have a rescue Aussie named Duke and he is in our unfenced yard with an underground shock collar. I’m in an area where walking trails are available! We love to play with our million toys and pond swimming. A good walk with all the sniffing needs to be done.

About: I spent 2 years working in a dog daycare and boarding facility which also included grooming and training dogs. In the process I did professional personal training to be licensed. I have worked with all dogs from puppy to senior and everything in between. I work from home so I am available 24 hours a day, every day of the week so your dog will never be left alone and has constant access for potty breaks. During long term boarding periods my husband will run errands such as getting groceries so I won’t ever have a need to leave the pups for any reason when staying with me long term. We have a water fountain with a filter and only use purified water so the animals always have access to clean water. We feed the animals on whatever schedule they need (example, my personal dog gets fed 3 times a day during breakfast, lunch, and dinner). I take the dogs out every 2 hours and also have a potty bell for dogs who are trained to hit a bell when they need to go outside. We have a yard but it is not fenced so I put the dogs in a collar/harness with a leash and take them outside in the yard and on a short walk. I also take them on long walks first thing in the morning before breakfast and at night before dinner to avoid bloating.

About: I have rehabilitated many dogs. I've spent many years making sure dogs can live their lives to their fullest potential. Every fur baby is precious. I am a very busy person with many activities so something I enjoy that works around my own schedule would be very necessary for me. I build trust with animals before I shower them with affection. Animals just want love, time, sense of security, and treats. They want to know they have a purpose and are a good dog.

About: Dogs have been part of my family my whole life. When I moved to the Metro St Louis Area the house I bought had to have a fenced back yard. I found a house with a fenced Great, Green space in the back. There is a covered porch and a dog door to get in the heated garage. I work M-F. But am available nights and weekends. The dogs would enjoy the outside space as weather allows. They would come inside at night. My 2 dogs love to share their space. At Holidays the relatives all bring their dogs when they come visit. My Golden Retriever & Lab are good hostesses.
