“We brought our 11 week old German Shepard home the day before Thanksgiving so being able to spend a full 5 days with him was good before we had to get into the rhythm of a full blown work week. Crate training a puppy is HEARTBREAKING! I had someone come and let him out 2x a day for the first couple of days. On the third day my walker couldn't make it in the afternoon so I went home for lunch to walk him. When I put him back in the crate it just broke my heart hearing him cry and howl. Upon returning to work I immediately researched doggie day care in my area and stumbled across Morgan's ad on Rover. I have to say she has been a savior. I dropped Thayer off for his 3rd day this morning with Morgan and I have complete piece of mind he is being well taken care of. She sends me updates and photos of him bouncing around her back yard with his new friends. He is a more manageable puppy as well. I am happy that I found someone I can trust to watch and care for my fur baby while I am at work or away on vacation and the like. One other thing about Morgan... her response time to inquires is impeccable! She gets back to you immediately when texts or calls. There is virtually no wait time! Thanks Morgan! About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I feel like connecting with animals (dogs specifically) is a gift that I have. Being a sitter is a great way for me to use that gift in everyday life. I'm able to adapt to the normal routine of the pets that I'm sitting in order to make the process as smooth as possible. I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.
