About: I’m a school counselor (on hiatus) stay at home mom. I take pride in providing peace of mind for people during their travel. I have 30+ years of experience pet sitting (starting when I was 8), with 15 of those years being professional dog handling when I used to help raise and train guide dogs for blind people. I have a friendly dog that loves to host guests. He adapts his play style to each dog; if they want to run around, he wants to be chased. If they don’t feel like playing, he will give space. Like many resident male dogs, he often feels uncomfortable with large breed adolescent males, particularly intact. I will make decisions on a case by case basis regarding adolescent males. I do require dogs be crated when unattended in my home for their safety and comfort. We can discuss your dog’s unique needs. I’ve boarded/raised over 100 dogs and I’ve never had any issues with dogs getting loose or scuffling. Sitting in your home: I can do the basics such as feeding and potty. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
