“My dog is pretty good about letting me know if she had a good daycare experience or not. She seemed very content when I picked her up! The second day, she was running to get to Asausha's. From the pictures, my dog looked very well cared for and spoiled! I'd highly recommend Asausha for your petcare needs.”

“Candace was an amazing dog sitter. She took very good care of my fur baby! She took pictures of her, text me throughout the day, took her on walks, snuggled with her, played and more ♡ Couldn't ask for anything more ♡ Thank you Candace!!!!”

“This was Coco’s first day of daycare with Sherry. He had a great time running and playing in her beautiful yard with her dog, and Sherry was great with him. He came home happy and tuckered out! We will definitely be returning for daycare and boarding.”

About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 6 years, including cats, dogs, and other small animals. Friends, family, and neighbors trust me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets while they’re away. I’m comfortable handling different personalities from energetic dogs to shy or senior pets and I always stick closely to each pet’s routine to keep them happy and stress free. I’m reliable, patient, and make sure to give plenty of attention and care, along with updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re gone Pet care is a consistent part of my daily routine. I currently care for two 6 month old cats and a 4 year old pit bull, so my schedule already revolves around feeding, cleaning, playtime, exercise, and supervision. I make time throughout the day for walks, litter box maintenance, enrichment activities, and check-ins. My availability is very flexible, allowing me to adjust my routine to meet each pet’s specific needs, whether that’s early mornings, evenings, or multiple visits per day. In my home, I maintain a clean, structured, and pet-safe environment. My cats are indoor pets with proper litter box hygiene, regular feeding schedules, and supervised playtime, while my dog receives daily walks, exercise, and social interaction. I closely monitor all pets to ensure safe interactions and prevent stress or conflict between animals. In a client’s home, I respect their routines and instructions, maintain cleanliness, provide fresh food and water, ensure exercise and companionship, and always prioritize the pet’s safety, comfort, and emotional well being.

“Briana and her family were awesome with Kaya during our trip to the zoo! She has a few dogs of her own and you can really tell she and her children love animals. A great overall experience and we would suggest her as your next pet sitter when in the Asheboro area!”

About: Hello! I have a lot of experience with animals including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, ferrets, turtles, rats, exotic birds, goats, and a tarantula or two so feel free to reach out if you have any questions about your pet. I worked as a Veterinarian Assistant in Greensboro, NC and I have been with Rover since 2018. I am a kind-hearted, patient person with lots of love to give your pets while you are away. I am an avid hiker but if she/he is more of a couch potato, that works too. I have cared for puppies, adult and senior dogs, kittens, adult and senior cats with medication needs on several occasions. Shy and senior pets are my specialties! I have two senior female dogs at home that I’ve had since they were puppies and three rambunctious short hair cats. Play time at home is great as well and I am happy to answer questions you have. Thank you for your consideration! I have a full-time job in Eden, NC and work part-time with Rover. Setting up a routine they can get used to is important while you're away so I like to establish that with them based on what works on the first and second visit.

About: If you book with me I can assure you a safe, fun, and nurturing environment with plenty of playtime, cuddles, and expert attention for your loving animals. Peace of mind for you— paradise and tail wags for them! 💞🐾 I have extensive experience with cats and dogs. I’m 25 and I grew up with so many cats, dogs, reptiles, I have even helped rescue deer, owls, pigs, and goats before too! I specialize in dog training, I have been doing it for 7 years now and have loved every minute of it- it is my true passion!! ❤️ That is another great reason to book with me, since I am well equipped to handle the many behaviors dogs may experience during their stay, and doing it in a safe manner as well. I have trained and rehabilitated many dogs that had severe anxiety and aggression too, some of them eventually became service dogs because of how well they transformed into a better version of themselves! I’m experienced with many different breeds, ages, and sizes of dogs so I am well versed in knowing personalities and behaviors and how to handle them in any way. ❤️😁 If you book with me your dog will experience fun activities such as enrichment toys, puzzle games, walks on trails, public outings such as to stores, parks, certain restaurants. They will also get to join pack walks, play time with other dogs, and one on one time with me! And if your dog is a couch potato 🥔 they can cozy up on the dog couch and enjoy their vacation in peace! 🏝️🐕💛 If you book with me your dog will experience a safe, fun, peaceful environment to where they will be excited to come back again! 🐾🎾 it is the opposite of when they go to the vet and have their tail tucked all nervously- your dog will have their tail wagging in the wind and jumping of joy as soon as you pull into my driveway because they know this is the place for fun and relaxation!! 🥳🥰🙌 All activities are very structured here. All dogs are supervised at all times when they are not crated, and when they are crated they are supervised by a camera I have connected to an app in my phone! Things are very structured in a sense of safety, behavior, and peace within all of the dogs during their stay. That’s where being a dog trainer comes in handy and the dogs can have fun while being in a calm state of mind! 😉🧘♀️💗🐾 I have three large dog yards- two are fenced in with 6ft privacy fence, and one yard is 6ft chain link fence. They can go potty, play, sun bathe, play in the dog pool, or just enjoy the fresh air. This is also nice if your dog isn’t aloud around other dogs- they will have their own large area to do their business and enjoy their time outdoors in a safe private area too!! 😌❤️ Cats love it here too! 🐈🐈⬛ your furry baby will get to enjoy toys, lick mats, cat castles and scratching boards. Even some cat nip if they’d like 🤪😸, and plenty of cuddles to “make biscuits”. 🥰🐾 If your dog can’t be around other dogs or cats, that is no problem here. I have plenty of room to give dogs and cats their own private space to still keep them at peace and accommodate to their needs during their stay! I like to match personalities within dogs so they can make great friends while they are on their vacation too!! It is also no problem if your dog/cat is on any medications as well- they will be issued them as directed during their stay and I am well experienced with that as well, so don’t worry about that! ❤️🩹🩺🐾 I always send plenty of updates by text with photos and videos during their stay so you don’t feel left out as I know it’s hard to leave our fur babies while we’re away! 📲📸🥰 If you book with me I can assure you your fur babies will have a blast and want to come back for more, there is plenty of love to go around here and I hope to meet your furry companions soon! 💞🐕🐕🦺🦮🐩🐈⬛🐈💞 I currently am a dog trainer, though I am still flexible and available to schedule at your convenience! Sometimes my mornings can be quite busy, but I will always do everything I can to exhaust all measures in making sure scheduling you isn’t a problem! I have 4 dogs- 2 German shepherds and 2 shepherd mix breeds. 3 are female 1 is male. I have 1 male indoor cat and 5 outdoor cats. I can assure your fur baby won’t feel lonely with the company of my own companions!! 💞 -I have multiple different rooms your fur baby can stay in if they need their own private space. -3 large fenced in yards. -structured play time with other dogs and solo play time. -pack walks and solo walks -public outings/hikes -crated when unsupervised to ensure safety of all dogs -enrichment toy/puzzle time each day to mentally stimulate and help soothe your dog -endless cuddles and love to go around 💗🥰🐾

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in VA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
