I currently have my dog living with me here in Cedar Rapids, & 2 cats back in Indiana living with my parents. I am comfortable with any size dog & weight. I am also comfortable with medications if necessary! I am a travel agent that works from home. My schedule is extremely flexible! I am very comfortable with whatever your pet needs whether it’s ones who require constant attention & playing for an hour, or ones who prefer to have their own space. Whatever your pet needs I am happy to provide! My dog is spoiled to the max & I ensure your pet will receive the same treatment! Though I work full-time during the week, I’m available on most weekends and can check in on weeknights after 7, providing consistent care for your pet. In my home, pets will enjoy a fenced backyard, playtime with my two dogs, plenty of toys, and an extra crate if needed for a safe, fun stay!

About: I’ve been around animals since I was a little kid. Grew up showing horses and cattle. I currently have Scottish highland cows, 2 dogs, and 3 cats. I’ve pet sat for family, friends, neighbors, and now Rover clients. I love animals more than people most days. :) Being around any kind of animal is my happy place. When in college, I worked for Apple Creek Kennel in Marion, IA. I’m very approachable and easy to talk to. I will treat your pet as if it were my own. I will work with you if price or schedule doesn’t line up. I work from home MOST days. If I’m not home, I’m usually not too far away. I make my own schedule so I’m able to be somewhat flexible. I’m a crop insurance adjuster full time and usually the busiest times of the year for me are around planting (May-June) and harvest (Sept-Dec). Please be mindful about how far apart we live. If we do live 20+ miles apart and you need me to care for your pet 4 times a day, that’s a minimum of 2 1/2 hours of driving time and gas for that day, on top of my full time job. I do my best not to over-commit myself and I am very upfront and honest about my schedule for the time frames requested. My full time job takes priority but I will always do my best to accommodate you and your pet(s) if my schedule allows. 🥰 I have a 5ft fenced yard. I will care for your animals specifically as I’m told and will do what is safest and most secure for your animal.

About: Drop ins: I’ll take your dog on a little walk before feeding them and spending time with your little furry love (20-30 minutes or so) Walking: I’ll take your pooch for a walk and/or run for as long as they require. House sitting: we will go on walks, snuggle, eat and I will be respectful of the owners home- clean up after myself and the animal so you come home to a nice clean home and you don’t have to rush to take care of your beloved fur baby! Boarding: not my preferred method of watching your pooch but if it’s absolutely needed, I can accommodate to make your pooch feel warm and welcome in my home.I have 2 large male dogs and a 2 year old- they’re great but getting older and less tolerant of other dogs.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs/cats of my own, my families dogs/cats and friends dogs since I was a kid. I have experience in young and old dogs/cats. One of my dogs required a lot of medical care that I was able to provide in the comfort of our own home! I work full time for the fire department, working 24 hour shifts and my schedule rotates. I will not watch your animals while I’m working. When I am not working and I’m watching your animal, there will be lots of play time, outside time, walks and cuddling! I own my home with a fenced in privacy fence. I live with a roommate and we split the house using upstairs and downstairs. Upstairs is where I live to have direct access to the backyard; I do have a friendly dog in the home that loves to meet new friends! If needed, my dog will stay at my families house if the animals cannot be together. Downstairs is separated but there is a nice, pleasant, playful cat there. There would be no interaction between the animals due to being separated.

About: I'm a recently graduated librarian looking for a job. In the meantime, I'm flexibly available for all petsitting and house sitting needs. I have been petsitting since I was a kid and I'm comfortable with all kinds of cats and dogs. The best friends I've ever had have been animals and I'd love the opportunity to take care of yours'. I live on the west side of Iowa City but I have a reliable car to get to work. This is moonlighting until I get a job as a librarian but could potentially last longer. My apartment building has a large dog park where we could hang out during the day. I have a middle aged cat named Toby who is shy but gets along well otherwise I was on hiatus for Rover for a long time but now have open availability and would love to care for your dogs and cats I follow safety precautions with every pet. I keep a close eye on them and am careful when walking them. If there are special safety requirements for your pet, I will accommodate them.

About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve always had a big heart for all types of animals! I have rescued kittens and other animals since I was young, and there has never been a time in my life where I did not have a pet to care for. My full time job is only 2 days a week, so the rest of my time can be focused on your pet. I walk my own dogs daily and love to be outdoors, so there isn’t a request to far fetched! (Pun intended) Your preferences and concerns will always be the forefront of discussions on how I will care for your beloved fur baby. I’m willing to treat them as my own and no request is too much to ask, after all you are entrusting me with your best friend!

About: I’ve had a dog ever since I was a little girl, up until he passed away at 14, so I’ve learned a lot about dogs. I’ve also helped plenty of my friends with their dogs, especially my close relatives and their three Aussies in the past three years. I’ve helped with potty training them, as well as feeding, watering, walking, playing ball with them. I’ve also helped with two litters of puppies! I do not have a job currently so I have much free time to spend with dogs and cats! I like to volunteer on Wednesdays and occasionally have dance that night too, and Sundays I have church in the morning, so I’m very free. I am very adaptable, and willing to work with all sorts of dogs to make sure they’re happy and safe! I am a bit of a perfectionist and I will definitely make sure that the things you ask of me get done to your standard, as I want to make you and your pets happy!
