“She was very attentive and affectionate with my adult cat, Jasper. I was traveling internationally and greatly appreciated the daily pictures and videos which assured me that my cat was doing well.”

“I was very happy with the care my babies got, Jena treated them like they was her own. I received updates and pics everyday I was gone. I will definitely have her take care of my girls again.”

About: Hi! I’m a dedicated cat lover who understands that cats are happiest and most comfortable in their own homes. I’m patient, calm, and respectful of shy or independent cats and have plenty of hands-on experience with drop-in visits. I’m also experienced in taking care of special needs cats (I have two of my own), and can administer medications. I work full-time, but I’m consistently available early in the mornings and in the evenings and most weekends for dependable, routine house drop-ins. A few days notice beforehand works best. I make sure doors and windows are securely closed, food and water areas are kept clean, and litter boxes are properly maintained. I’m mindful of household safety, including keeping harmful items out of reach and being cautious when entering and exiting the home to prevent escapes.
“This is the second time we’ve used Nora. We have three dogs, so it’s quite a bit of juggling! We totally appreciate all the help she has done with feeding, letting out, and pills. We will use her again!”

About: Hi! I’m Allyson, a dedicated animal lover located on the SE side of Cedar Rapids. I offer reliable, loving dog walking and care with a flexible schedule to fit your pet’s needs. I have hands-on pet-sitting and walking experience with a variety of animals. I've cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, with breed experience ranging from Chihuahuas and Bulldogs to Shelties and German Shepherds. In addition to dogs and cats, I have experience pet sitting and fostering bunnies and understand their unique care, routines, and gentle handling needs I grew up in a home where animals were family- helping care for cats, a Miniature Schnauzer, and a Golden Doodle. As an adult, I’ve rescued multiple kittens, cared for a Saint Bernard, fostered two bunnies, and I currently have two cats of my own. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and temperaments, including rescue animals. After losing my own dogs, I’m not quite ready to adopt again—but I have plenty of love, patience, and attention to give to yours. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always follow your instructions closely. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I'm currently working part-time in the evenings, so I have a very flexible schedule in the morning and early afternoon. I also have weekend availability as needed! Your dog’s safety and happiness are always my top priorities. I take time to get to know each dog’s personality, routines, and any special needs so every walk is calm, positive, and stress-free. I follow all owner instructions carefully, including leash preferences, feeding or medication needs, and behavioral cues. Dogs are always kept on leash unless otherwise agreed, and I stay alert to surroundings, traffic, and other animals to ensure safe, controlled walks. I treat every dog as if they were my own and believe trust is built through consistency, patience, and clear communication. I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and notes after each walk so you always know how your pup is doing.
“Amanda was great! There were weather issues and she was really transparent on when she didn’t think she could make a visit. She left out extra found and gave medication early to plan for the weather. My flight was cancelled due to weather and she was able to watch them later and gave me peace of mind. Would definitely recommend!”

“This was our second time using them to watch our animals, they just watched our cats this time & they did a great job! They regularly kept us up to date with pictures & took the time to give them some lovings & play time on top of keeping the litter boxes clean & feeding them. They're definitely one of our regulars now that we'll always trust with our babies!”

“100% recommend Jessica and her husband! They were very flexible and reliable. They gave us detailed reports with pictures. Our pets loved them and their care was unmatched. We definitely will be using Jessica again.”

About: Ever since I was young I have been surrounded by animals and have always found a connection with them. I have watched and cared for pets owned by friends and neighbors since I was 12 years old. I am currently working part time and have plenty of spare time to take care and entertain your furry friends! I work 2-10pm some days, but message me and we can work out a schedule together! I am flexible and can accommodate accordingly. I prefer to take care of animals in the comfort of their own home. I am very respectful and a trusted individual so your animals and space are safe with me.
“Carol is so reliable and sends lots of pictures. My cats really like her and it's nice to have someone they know rather than a different sitter every time. Carol is very quick to respond to new requests.”

About: I love pets and I will take care of yours as if they’re my own! I have been around pets of all kinds my whole life; I can adapt my care to various needs because I know every pet is different! I was raised in a home with two cats and two dogs, so it was a small zoo! It was at a young age that I learned how to clean a litter box and how to clean up the dog waste in the yard, so nothing like that scares me off! I also have been taking care of others' pets since I was in elementary school! Primarily, my pet care experience has been with cats and dogs, but I have no trouble following instructions if you have a different kind of pet! I'd love the chance to love your pets! My current work hours fluctuate right now, but my current availability is: Mon-Thur as early as you need me until 3:45pm. I'm available after 9pm. Friday is entirely available Saturday I'm working 10am-2:30pm. Sunday is entirely available I always make sure to respect an animal’s space and boundaries until they clearly indicate they are comfortable with me. I never assume an animal is friendly until they show it!
About: A happy pet is a happy house! They are the mainstay of our homes and caring for them gives me so much joy! I care for multiple dogs and cats as my friends and family need! I have a lot of experience with feeding, walking, playing, bathing etc.I have been in pet care for over 20 years and taken care of many pets with a variety of needs. I understand pets have their own unique personalities and need different care/attention to make them be there best! I would love to be able to care for your pet and I will gladly help give them what they need to be happy and healthy while you’re away I work full time at a tennis facility but my hours make sure that pups get morning and afternoon walks just fine! (Plus tennis balls!) I am more than willing to care for and accommodate basic pet needs as well as more complicated ones. I prefer care be written down somewhere for later reference if needed. Water will always be full and available and anything that may cause harm to your pet (wires, small or sharp objects, etc) will be out of reach or inaccessible to your pet through height/doors/secured areas.
About: I love working with dogs of all sizes and energy levels, especially active and strong pups. My girlfriend has a 65-lb pit/chow/shar-pei mix who’s rowdy and mouthy, and I regularly walk, run, and help reinforce his training — including structured E-collar use and calm-lead handling. I’ve also dog-sat for both small and large breeds, including crate-trained dogs, and have experience managing pets during busy neighborhood walks and on hiking trails. Dogs feed off energy, so I stay calm, confident, and patient to help them feel secure — but also love matching high-energy dogs with play time, running, fetch, and mental stimulation. Whether your pup needs exercise, structure, or cuddles while I work remotely, I’ll make sure they feel safe and loved. I’ve also cared for cats for 20+ years and currently have two senior kitties. I’m comfortable giving oral medication, trimming nails, and helping nervous or older cats feel comfortable. My goal is simple: keep your pets happy, safe, and relaxed while you’re away. I work remotely, which gives me a very flexible schedule for walks, feedings, and attention throughout the day. I take regular breaks to walk or play with pets, and I enjoy starting mornings with walks or runs. Because I’m home most of the day, I’m able to provide frequent check-ins, outdoor time, and companionship. I can adjust my work schedule around pets’ routines so they stay comfortable, relaxed, and on their normal schedule. Weekends are also flexible, and I’m happy to do morning, midday, and evening visits or overnight stays when needed. I treat every pet and home with the same respect and structure I follow for my own animals. I keep doors, gates, and crates secure, follow owner instructions closely, and maintain a calm environment so pets feel safe and relaxed. I learn each pet’s routine, comfort levels, and body language, and I adjust to what helps them feel at ease. I follow leash rules on walks, only use approved training tools, and never introduce treats, food, or toys without the owner’s permission. I give updates, photos, and communicate clearly so you always know your pet is safe, happy, and well-cared for in your home.
“Sana is the best! My apartment is always in great shape and I can tell from the pictures she sends that my cats love her. She is a really good communicator and definitely my first choice to watch my cats whenever I am out of town.”

I work from home so I will be there most of the time to make sure you fur baby gets plenty of attention and play time! I have a fenced in yard so dogs can be out there and play around as much as they want to when we’re home. If they enjoy playing with other dogs I have 1 bigger one and 3 smaller ones.
