About: I have taken care of animals since I was 10 years old. This includes cats and dogs with special needs such as permanent injuries, animal aggression and seizures. Volunteered at animal shelters all of middle and high school. Very loving and kind with all animals. I work full time as an electrician, however my schedule is very flexible and I have all weekends off. I only work a regular 8 hour day and have plenty of time to spare after work for your beloved furry family member. I live in an apartment but fortunately it has its own dog park area, nearby parks, walking paths and hiking locations. I am very active and enjoy high energy dogs, but I also enjoy relaxing and giving plenty of ear scratches to dogs that like their lazy days.

This gives me the availability to respond to their needs, routines, and energy levels. I’ve had experience with animals for many years. I previously owned a black lab named Aurora, and I currently have an orange cat of my own. I also have regularly helped care for my mother’s two dogs — a Maltese Schnauzer and a Golden Retriever — and I’ve looked after my sister’s dog multiple times in the past as well. Animals tend to gravitate toward me because I pay close attention to their body language, boundaries, and personalities. I’m very mindful of their cues and comfort levels, which helps me understand what they need more or less from me. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I’d be happy to give your pet the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. If I’m housesitting, I’m practically readily available. I work a full-time remote job that would allow me to be present and handle the tasks needed to care for your pets. I would have time to see them in intervals multiple times a day with no problem and with plenty of time for play. But if I do drop in visits, I can do 2-3 drop in’s a day. 1st at 7:00-8:00a, 2nd at 11a-1:30p and 3rd at 4:30p-10p - depending on my work schedule and the daily demand. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with the understanding that it is first and foremost your pet’s home and safe environment. I’m very respectful of both the home and the routines that your pet is used to. I keep the environment calm, clean, and consistent so your pet feels comfortable while you’re away. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and house rules. I aim to maintain the same peaceful atmosphere your pet is used to. About: I volunteered at CARE which is a no kill pet shelter for cats and dogs in 2014 and recently started volunteering at this place again, February 2018. My duties included feeding and making sure the animals had enough water. Cleaned out kennels and cages and would take the dogs outside and walk them. I have had dogs and cats since I was born and currently had a dog who loved being around other cats and dogs. She loved to play with animals as well and loved children. Her name was Daisy she is in my profile pic with me. Daisy was euthanized on September 1st, 2023. I now have another dog whose name is Emma. She’s a year old and as long as it’s ok with a client I bring her to pet sitting jobs. She loves other animals including cats and loves to play. She’s lovable and affectionate and loves attention. I also have a cat and her name is Maizy. She is four years old and I got her when she was almost 4 weeks old. I would take Daisy for walks and if I could take her with me to other places I did. One of the places I took her was to the pet store. I no longer wear a mask unless I have to. If you prefer for me to wear one please let me know and I will wear one. I use to work at a job which required me to work a 10 hour shift. I am now working at a full time job which has 8 hour shifts. I can work around my schedule if needed. My supervisor does work with me on switching my days around if needed. I can’t keep your pet in my apartment due to rules and restrictions but I can come to your home. I will provide my own food and necessities.
About: I grew up with blue herlers and now have a Chihuahua named Bentley, Golden Doodle named Nash, and a Kitten named Prada! I frequently pet sit and I even got to work at a camp bow wow this summer and LOVED it! I love getting to meet and interact with dogs of all breeds and sizes! I currently attend Drury University and work at a daycare on some afternoons. My availability schedule mainly consists of open mornings and weeks! About: I have had dogs and a couple cats, I would say that I am fairly knowledgeable about typical animal behavior. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Owned horses and have been around an assortment of other animals throughout my life. Currently work full-time but I am about to not be working full time and would like to do dog walking/hiking and such full-time. I will be available throughout the week at anytime of day. Hoping to allow dog sitting at some point in the future for clients as well. I have a fenced back yard and give them ample exercise. I have learned that biking is one of the best things for a dog, especially high energy dogs but also any dog really. They get lots of petting and one on one playing throughout the day as well.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
