I care for many friends and neighbor dogs and have play dates on a daily basis. Dogs are always on the guest list for dinner parties or holiday gatherings and have gifts under the tree. After retiring from my long term job, I became a caregiver for family members. I enjoy walking so thought this would be a perfect fit for getting more exercise and fill my love of having multiple dogs. About: I grew up with many animals in our household from dogs, cats, turtles, birds, fish, and bunnies and always had a unique connection to them. I have an innate empathetic understanding with them. I have experience with training younger dogs, as well as taking care of elderly dogs. I have experience providing necessary medication if needed, as well as lots of love and snuggles and adventurous hikes or leisurely walks for elderly animals. Currently I have a cat and would love to have another dog but for now getting to take care of other people's dogs or cats would satisfy my desire to be around lots of animals. I am currently a full-time student and I work remotely online so my schedule is flexible and I can work from anywhere. I would prefer to watch dogs and cats in your home. I like to communicate with the owner of the pet and get a clear understanding if there is a particular feeding or walk schedule, as well as if medications are required, or crate preferences. I am happy to send a photo of your animal baby each day if you like daily check ups. I love communication so trust and understanding are developed between myself and the owner.

About: There's never been a time when I haven't been surrounded by animals, and I have grown to enjoy and take seriously the care of pets. I also worked part-time at a kennel, and have lots of experience with many different breeds of dogs. As a pet sitter, I make sure to put the animals comfort and care first and offer updates daily to pet owners. I am also a very active person and I'm constantly hiking or going for runs. I have cared for everything from birds, dogs, cats, horses, and reptiles. I've also helped to train dogs (and puppies) as well as groom them. I don't think I've ever met an animal that I didn't love, and would love to get to know yours! I work from home on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and can be available some weekends with advanced notice. After getting to know a dog, would consider house boarding. No overnights at someone’s house at this time. Since I work from home, I would be able to schedule my day around the walks for the dogs. I can do a walk to the park on my lunch breaks, or start or end the day with them. I always treat my clients home with respect and aim to leave if the same or better than I found it. At this time, only established pets in my schedule would be open for at home care. For those pets, we’re used to organizing our schedule around special needs dogs, including making sure a camera is on for any moments we might leave the house.
