“Ana has been doing a great job walking Mabel and taking her to the dog park. She does a really good job, and we will continue to use her moving forward. Thanks Ana!”

“Kristin always does an excellent job communicating, making me feel comfortable that my pets are in great hands. I appreciate how dependable she is and would recommend her.”

“Just one week into having Max (and his fiancé) take care of my two dogs and I’m already so impressed. Max and Jen took the time to get to know my dogs and asked tons of questions prior to starting weekly walks. They are both incredibly communicative and timely, send pictures and updates for each walk, and have been extremely patient with my female pup, who can be shy around new people. I will definitely turn to Max and Jen for any future dog sitting needs!”

“I feel confident leaving my dogs with Averi to walk, feed, and play with. She’s so communicative, responsive, and patient with my dogs. So happy to come back to happy pups!”

“Keegan is great! She really cares about the dogs and their personalities. She notices the details about their behavior and knows how best to engage with them. Both times she spent the full 30 or 60 minutes with my dogs. She sent lots of pictures and notes about how things went. Best experience with rover so far.”

“They were amazing with Colby & even gave my cat some love also! They are very communicative & made it very easy to trust them, highly recommend!”

About: I'm a certified veterinary assistant, and I’m currently in school to obtain my veterinary technician certification. I interned at a veterinary clinic for six months and have been working at a dog daycare and boarding facility for almost a year now. I work part-time. My shifts are either 6:30-1:30, 6:30-11:30, and 1:30-7, and on days I “double” I have a 2-hour break in between. Besides work, I am taking an online class for Vet Tech, so I can do it anywhere I need to. I have been around various breeds. I know the warning signs of when a pet is scared or not comfortable, and I always take my time with new fur friends.

“Joann has great communication and is reliable.”

“Steve is awesome!!! I am admittedly a crazy dog mom and don’t trust just anyone to take care of my girl! Steve was super communicative from the start and offered to come meet me and Lucy before her scheduled walk day. He put my mind at ease and she was so excited- not to mention you can totally see his love for dogs. She is not the best on the leash and gets distracted/pulls quite a bit, but Steve was understanding about that and was in full control when he had her. Will definitely be using regularly! Thank you, Steve!”

“Edna was amazing taking care of cece while I was away .This was a first time experience for myself and dog.Edna kept constant communication about cece .I’m very pleased to have come across Edna on Rover and will definitely book with her again. Thanks Edna”

“LeNai was fantastic! It was our first time trying doggie daycare and LeNai made Neptune feel right at home. We received videos and pictures of him having a great time which eased our own separation anxiety! Would definitely recommend using her services and I'm sure Neptune can't wait to spend some time with her again.”

“After using rover for the first time I loved michaela once I met her she is a very genuine and understanding person she always send pictures of my sweet pup couldn’t asked for a better sitter ! ❤️”

About: I’ve been living in Charlotte with my 5 year old dog and 13 year old cat for about 4 years. I always had dogs growing up and my current dog is a reactive boy so I feel particularly well-versed in dog body language and behaviors after having spent some time with professional trainers for him. Looking forward to meeting your animals! I am currently doing contract based work so my schedule is very flexible. I’m happy to do drop-ins and walks pretty much anytime of day. I offer drop-ins at the client’s home. I am very detail oriented and will ensure that all requirements are met. I’ve hired Rover sitters for my own animals so I understand how much trust in involved in asking someone to come to your home and care for your animals.

“I am so thankful for Minh helping me out and taking my furbaby out for her walks! She took good care of her made sure she went potty and made sure her had fresh water in so grateful for the care you give. I would highly recommend Minh!!! :) PS. I have a husky”

“Nataly was great! She picked up Lexie on time and took her for a good morning walk following all instructions. I was out of town and it was a great relief to know my “ladybug” was being taken care of on her morning walks!”

About: I’ve been a veterinary assistant for 6 years and a volunteer in animal shelters for 10 years. I have a passion for animal health care I have been taking care of animals my entire life, but 6 years into my career as a veterinary assistant. I also volunteer for animalcontrol I take care of each animal as if they are my own so basically everyone is treated like family when they are under my supervision.

About: I have a 55 lb loving soul named Penny. I love coming home from work and there she is, excited to greet me. Walking dogs is relaxing and a great bonding experience. Car rides and dog parks are just the best. I am currently a teacher in Charlotte, but will be pretty open once classes and graduation are over on June 14th. Except for one week in July when I will be on vacation, my schedule will be wide open until mid-August. Let me care for your pet while you relax! I have one dog and a semi-feral cat. My pets are a part of the family and are allowed on furniture and beds, and very much welcome to take naps with me! My pets are well-loved and I give them my full attention. I enjoy walking my dog as much as she does. I am not squeamish at all of picking up poo in a bag and carrying it back home. Litter boxes - part of my life since I was a small child. I have much experience in that department. I love cats and dogs!

About: About Me: I’ve had dogs for over 20 years - it’s their world, I’m just living in it! Every dog is like family to me. I’ve cared for working breeds, couch potatoes, and everything in between, and enjoy getting to know each dog’s quirks and personality. How I Work: I adjust to each dog’s needs, whether it’s long walks, fetch, or simply keeping them company. I’m calm, laidback, and respectful of their routines. I usually stick to morning and evening walks to avoid the heat, but I’m flexible based on your dog’s needs. My goal is always to help them feel safe, comfortable, and secure while you’re away. I have two working breeds at home, so daily exercise and structure are part of my rhythm. One’s basically a sled dog who always needs a job; the other doesn’t know where he is, who he is, or what a ball is. I’m used to balancing high energy with downtime and do my best to mirror your routine as closely as possible. Availability & Overnight Stays: I don’t live alone, so my dogs are well cared for when I’m away. For overnight stays, once I arrive, I’m settled in. I work from home as an illustrator, so I’m around all day and stay overnight. For longer stays (3+ nights), I’ll step out briefly to walk my dogs and run a quick errand, but otherwise I’m there around the clock. My dogs have never been left alone overnight or for more than a few hours, and I treat everyone’s dogs with the same care. Communication: I typically check in once or twice a day with updates and photos - more if your dog is being a cutie! I’m happy to adjust to whatever communication style works best for you. Just let me know. Experience With Special Needs: I’m experienced with administering oral medications, ear drops, topical treatments, and even inhalers for cats. I’m also planning to complete pet CPR/first aid certification. While I haven’t cared for senior pets before, I’m comfortable with mobility support, slower-paced walks, and extra patience. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions! I work from home and have a flexible schedule throughout the week. I can dog sit on weekends and can do some week days. I prefer at least a day in advance notice but can occasionally do last minute. I am comfortable pet sitting at your home and following whatever routine your pet is accustomed to. Unfortunately, I can’t offer boarding at my house at this time.

“There are not enough stars to represent a rating for Kourtney! Easily she's one of the most reliable and consistent caregivers I've met from this service. She's kind, communicative and very receptive to Diesel's needs (as a princess). I am late in writing this review as I've used her SEVERAL times and will continue to do so whenever the need arises.”

“Thank you Rover for an amazing walker and wonderful gentleman. My Bella and Stormi enjoyed their walk and I’m so excited to have found someone I can’t trust with my fur babies???. You’re AWESOME Marcus!”

Tanja B.
“Tanja's caring knows no bounds! As a mother of two, devoted wife, school teacher, and cat mom, Tanja has the biggest heart. I've known her for over 20 years as a devoted pet mom. She is conscientious and reliable, and would take care of anyone's pets as if they were her own!”

Olivia W.
“Olivia’s awesome! She watched my Lab whenever I went out of town and did occasional drop-ins. I never had to worry about a thing. She was always on top of it and took my neurotic list of needs in stride. My girl is super energetic, and she was completely tuckered when I got home. Olivia even took her to the dog beach and pet stores to pick out new toys. I loved getting regular updates with pictures of their adventures. I’d definitely book her again if she didn’t move :(”
