“I have known Alyssa since she was a baby. She has always had a special way with animals, as evidenced by her gentle and caring ways with pets. Alyssa was my favorite pet sitter for many years. She stayed overnight when needed and has always been honest and trustworthy. Most recently, my older dog developed diabetes. When Alyssa learned of this, she asked if we could teach her how to give the insulin injections, just in case she would be needed. Alyssa did learn and mastered the task quickly. Personally, for me, Alyssa would always be my first and only choice for a pet sitter. However, now that she is in college, which is out of town, she is not available to help me as often. I miss her. Whoever hires her will not be disappointed! ”

About: Hello! My name is Alishia and I live in Marion, VA. There has never been a time in my life since the age of 5 that I have not been a pet owner and lover. I have always been a dog mom and previously volunteered at my local animal shelter. I currently have a schnauzer/terrier mix named Bela, she is our rescue girl. We also have a Goldendoodle, Chipper. Our cat, Kitty. And two Guinea pigs: Simba and Oreo. I can check in on your animal or animals. Or come for a house sitting stay. I can go on walks around the block or around the park! I also have a 9 year old that would love to take walks with me around the park or playground. I have no preferences, I love all animals :) I am currently at home for the summer as I am a teacher. Then when I go back to school my schedule is flexible as well. I also live and work close enough to feed/ walk animals within town limits. I can easily crate if needed and have extras at my home. I have extra leashes and collars, and will always be with your animals if they are outside. When they are inside there is nothing at all within reach that could harm them as I have 2 dogs of my own roaming around.
