About: I connect with animals of all kinds! I've had several dogs & cats, rabbits, pigs, turkeys, snakes, chickens, lizards, and a chinchilla. My love for animals is limitless & my goal is to improve the life of every animal I can reach. I am currently taking courses online to sharpen my skills pertaining to grooming, learning different breeds, training, diet & health. I have acquired many different brushes, supplements, flea combs, scissors and other supplies to keep your pet clean & tidy. I keep lots of treats in my kit including cat treats, cat nip, dog treats, calming pheromone spray & highly digestible bones. I enjoy cooking for pets when I can, making it feel more like going to Grandma's house instead of day care 😉 I am very attentive to moods and behaviors, while also going above and beyond to make sure they feel safe. I have treated sick animals, given medications, assisted in giving injections, and followed food regimens. I've been bitten by several different kinds of animals, so I know how to deal with the not-so-fun parts. I have plenty of energy to walk and play, toys, and my own reliable transportation. I've done extensive research on behaviors and relationships of pets and I'm always learning. I would be happy to write daily reports and/or take pictures, whatever makes you feel at ease. Outside of caring for my own animals, I'm not very busy, so if you need a last minute service, I will likely be available. I can transport animals in my car and also have a female German Shepherd who is fixed and is sweet as can be, if your pup would like a play mate! I'm always looking for new spots to walk & hike, making sure your bestie doesn't get bored ☺️ I strive to work with pet parents to provide high standard, seamless care for every animal & your peace of mind. There is nothing I won't do to ensure the safety & happiness of your pet. Frivolous is not in my vocabulary 🫡 I take care of my animals daily, but have plenty of free time for yours! Morning, afternoon or evening, I'm available for your pet care needs. My pets are well taken care of and honestly a little spoiled 🤭. We have different foods for different cat needs, we don't use cheap food brands in our household. Our dog is walked at least 5 times a week, sometimes more. Each animals gets individual attention and plenty of pets. I make my own treats to give my dog her medicine and also try other pet recipes from time to time. All animals are vaccinated, de-wormed, and get vet check-ins annually.

“I am so glad I contacted Melissa to take care of my babies. I needed someone to take care of my two pups for a couple of days and Melissa responded right away to my message. I had an emergency and I had to find a dog sitter at the last minute. One problem I had was that I have a pup that doesn’t get along with any other dog except his sibling. She made it possible to work around my trouble dog and have him stay with her. I was afraid I wasn’t going to find someone to take care of them. Even though I didn’t get to meet her in person I had trust in her to take care of my babies. She sent me pictures and videos of my pups :)! Plus, Melissa had a pug of her own which made it pretty amaze for my pug to play with another pug!!!”

About: I am a Pre-Vet student with a lot of personal pet experience with many dog breeds and cats as well. I am looking to share my love for animals! I am a veterinary assistant so I am able to care for senior dogs, puppies, cats and a variety of other animals. I rent a pet friendly home in a peaceful area around nature so I am able to host animals in my home or yours! This is my main source of income at the moment so I am able to provide care full time. I am willing to do any services needed, bathing, walking, feedings, etc. I enjoy taking dogs for walks and providing a lot of play time.

About: I have been fostering & training animals for rescues and shelters since 2009. I enjoy fostering because it helps more animals in the long run, I am great with animals that are unruly & have vet technician experience, so you can be sure your animal is in great hands when at my home or in my care, I love cats, dogs & caged animals & will go above and beyond for them. I can do things that most animal caretakers aren’t comfortable with, such as administer medications, light training, cleaning, bathing, grooming, even go pet shopping if needed! I will treat your babies as my own 😊 I have a huge yard & I live a few miles from a park with a walking trail. I own my business and work from home on my own schedule so I can work around my animal care schedule if needed. I have a 6 month old but can and will refrain from contact if needed. I have pets of my own as well as fosters at any given time, however my house is split level and plenty big enough to separate my animals from visiting one's to ensure safety.

About: I have mainly taken great care of my family and friends fur babies but wanted to make this a job for me because I absolutely love doing this! Im currently not working due to hurricane Helene. I am pretty much free anytime of the week. I’d prefer week days but don’t mind weekends if needed! I have two Dogs of my own a Golden Retriever. Her names Stella, she’s 8 months and did I mention she’s very pretty in pink! Then I have the most handsomest boy Flynn. He is an Aussiedoodle who is 3 and FULL of energy! Just built a fence for them in the backyard so they can play their little hearts out. I wanna take care of your dogs just like I would take care of my own. Every dog is to pure for this world and deserves the most loving care imaginable!!
